Did you watch?

For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

What did they say about Carol? I think it makes a lot of sense that Lizzie and Mika killed them (you can see that Karen/David were dead or almost dead in S4E2, because the pillow in Karen's cell was covered fairly evenly in blood, as though she were hemorrhaging already), and Carol either happened upon them doing it or otherwise found them, and helped to pull the bodies out and cover for the children, as their dad asked her to care for them as if they were her own.

I watched 5 minutes of the talking dead and turned it off because of Marily Manson. They need to get people who can talk and have a decent thought process. Not retards like that paramore chick and marilyn manson.

I don't think it's fair to lump Hayley (that paramore chick) in, or to call anyone that name. Manson was pretty clearly intoxicated, and while attempting to add to the conversation, was all over the place. They're invited onto the show as big fans of the genre or TWD world as a whole, and we have to pretty much take what we get, unless we clamor for someone in particular.

Regardless, this episode was pretty good. I liked the battle scene, especially when Daryl threw a bolt into a walker and retrieved it. It'll be interesting to see where they go with that situation, since no one knows where they are, and they have a bit of a tail.

Anyone listen to The Talking Dead Podcast? One of their callers had a very interesting theory regarding the origin of the virus..

I too was annoyed with Marilyn Manson's long ramblings and movies analogies(wtf?). Anyone up for using him in a drinking game? Beerlaugh out loud I was even more annoyed with him sitting so close to Jack that he even rubbed arms and he had his arm and hand around Jack's shoulders for quiet a long time. Look at all the space he had, the cushion pillow, and the arm rest if he moved over! That was smooth of Chris directing a question to Jack. I busted out laughing when Chris half-jokingly said he'd didn't understand anything else Manson said all night until his lucid thought about the governor. Rofl2

By the read of it here, if there is more talk about The Talking Dead than there is about the episode prior, then that has a lot to say about the episode itself. It wasn't the most memorable.

Amen to that!!! What was his deal with the radio...everyone knows, eyes on the road! Why have someone sitting shotgun if you aren't going to make them deal with the voice on the radio. When you spell Carole like that it makes me think of Creole. laugh out loud

The episode had a lot going on...much like MM's head. The host guy was getting annoying too, MM's rants weren't ALL stupid but he kept just dismissing every thought. All in all...it felt like the host and MM had a deep seeded hatred for each other. Basically it was the worst TTD I've watched.

And how about when the host asks the girl "what is your name, what is your question?", twice, and then mocks her when she answers him, twice... Jackass...

I wonder if one of the techs messed up MM's mic on purpose to try to at least save the first 5 minutes of the show, haha.

I think Chris' patience wore very thin from MM and that was partly why he got snide with that caller but IIRC the audience laughed. I half fault and excuse him at the same time.

MM was fidgeting at the start thus his shirt rubbed on and perhaps loosened the clip-on mic and they adjusted it after the first break. But yeah MM half joking about being censored not even a minute in... Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I don't recall but do the guests ever directly ask any of TWD guests questions or is it just the host allowed to. Depending on the guest and their question, I think that may sometimes be as interesting as the Q&A from the live audience, tweets, and calls.

First off, the driver controls the radio, at least that's how it works in MY car. LMAO
As for the car, I want to know what Georgia redneck wouldn't insist on driving a bigass 4X4 pickup? Like one that is jacked up so high, they can just drive over the walkers without even hitting one in the head with the transmission.

Do you mean the show's guests alongside show producers, etc.?

Speed, son. They even mentioned that it was the "fastest one they've got."

You also don't want 4x4 mileage on a 50+ mile trek each way (not that a Charger is much better, but)..

But you don't max that thing out anyway...they were driving through a forest road, they could maybe shave off 1 minute total due to the faster acceleration if they had a bunch of start and stops. In the end, you have to prepare for the unexpected...and having to take the car off-road/over-zombie should not have been THAT unexpected... I agree that they should have taken a truck and save that car for transport/convoy.

Sure, right then they were on a forest road, but who's to say they didn't take some deserted highway to get there?

When lives are at stake based on how fast you can return with those meds, you want a fast car. Dontknow
