I'm going with 2007, with Br00ce, seems I was here about a year when the terminology changed, but I maybe off by one year and it could have been 2008 by some small chance EEK!

But considering the short attention span of Loungers in general I think it is safe to say that Br00ce also became mainstream for a short time in 2006.

Follow-up question:

Does anyone else remember a rule against using "Br00ce"(or any variation of) in regards to n00bs?

They did come down pretty hard on anyone (especially Briang) who tried to point out shims though laugh out loud
