Went to Kohl's --- we don't have the $10 coupon but did use 3 of the $5 off coupons ... found a couple of the things I bought during the get Kolh's Cash period don't fit my girlies ... but have spent the $20 in Kohl's cash I got ... so now I can't return them right? If I bring back the sweaters I bought with the $20 Kohl's cash can I return them and then be able to return the first things that don't work on them? Anyone know --- or am I stuck with them?
In my experience you can either do an "even exchange" or just tell them you want to return it for store credit you will get the full amount back. If you ask to return it to your card or however you paid it will deduct the Kohl's Cash. HTH!

Hey Kohls peeps...since the $5 shows up as Kohls cash and the receipt says purchases made with Kohls cash will be refunded as a MC...does that mean I can return something I bought with the $5, get my MC and then buy something else with another $5 and use my MC (thus having $10 to spend? Or is that a faux pas?
nod That's what I posted about a few days ago. I can only do 1 q per txn, so having the extra merch cards from returns is my only way around that.

For anyone who's grocery stores double q's, there was a .75/heinzketchup q this past weekend. The bay is high, but I found them with dede. Limit is 10 at .12/each.

Yep, that is the one.. They won't even scan again, or read the coupon. They are very robotic about it.. when it beeps, they just kindly give it to you and tell you they can't take it..
I need to find a coupon friendly target.. any suggestions??

Ugh, I've been to that T (I have a friend out in Conyers). If you're ever, for some ungodly reason, out by Douglasville, that T is pretty decent. I also like the one by Lenox, but I only go late and night and that's when tired male cashiers and having a big rack pay off laugh out loud

Oops, must have missed where you posted that. I was hoping it would work that way and make it a little easier for me to get some things I actually need (really need to have a low OOP amount right now)

I have had good luck at the Lenox store before too. My DH works off North Druid Hills and I have visited the target there, and the one at Lenox, and one other store out that direction. I used to have really good luck there.. Haven't been since spring though..

Is Sephora still really good with returns without a receipt? I seem to recall they've changed policy and not quite as lenient as Nordie's still is.

I got a gift of a $100 moisturizer EEK! that I am about 98% sure came from Sephora (it's sold there, but could have also come from Neiman's) and I'd much rather get something else (er, mulitple other items). But not sure if they'll do it for something they probably don't sell B&M and especially for that price.

you should be ok. they'll ask for license, likely. just tell them it was a gift. if it is in packaging, better yet. and especially when you do an exchange in store right away, they're less fussy.

gt - i hope you're feeling better. do you like beans? made a mixed bean soup with veggies that's delicious. it's filling but not heavy. low in fat and carbs. can give you recipe if you like. hug

dreeme - EEK! on the overcharge. i hope you called em right away!

bunnies - congrats on new laundry day. i'll be waiting on pics, too.

cathi - so sorry you had a splat day. hug

ank - avocados... huh.

mlj - :congrats: on the weight loss! so inspiring! i've been craving butterfingers and holding off. did not buy even at cvs today.

speaking of cvs, for those of you that cvs or might consider it, revlon nailpolishes are free after mq and ecbs this week. nice colors.

Depends on where you are. Duluth ST, Buford, Winder, and Athens all are pretty Q friendly. But, if you hit Conyers again in the next few days, let me know if they have the E-reader on clearance. Buford & Conyers are the only ones around here that have them listed, but they are "limited availability", not worth the drive for that.

Does it _have to be the snackers? Will regular butterfinger not work? (I don't have the Q yet, so I have no idea.)

Went to the Dr. today. She gave me some darvocet for my back, not helping much Frown

Spent part of my money, did the "healthy" thing and joined the YMCA. I still have enough to get a Dyson though Evil

I found 2 good clearance items today, Junie B Jones book (sort-of a "wimpy kids" notebook version w/ free paper doll) for $3.24 and My Sims Racing DS for $3.74. I managed to hide them in my cart under all the candy for kids for X-Mas. Kids are on Fall Break this week, so they were with me today.

I filled up a Large priority mail box with candy. Took 4 of the BIG bags to fill it. DD will be happy, ex-DH will be very unhappy Wink

Bunnies - I fully expect a pic of the Elmo washer posted tomorrow Smilie
EEK! Darvacet... You really did hurt your back...hope it heals soon. hug

Ummm, well, I sort of remembered that my there was a little bit of left over milk macaroni in the fridge that my daughter made the other night (and I so stoically resisted). I caved. I ate it. Embarrassment There wasn't much -- less than a cup.

Hubby seemed to think Clam Chowder and grilled cheese sounded pretty good for supper. So, I may have some cream of chicken soup later. I don't know. I'm really nauseous again. What the hell is the deal -- a head cold with nausea? This is just weird.
Hope you feel better soon.. Been meaning to ask, what is milk macaroni?

I finally made your revolution rolls today. I did low carb for 3 years before, and never tried them because they seemed too difficult. Mine tonight turned out okay.. but very crumbly.. I know they won't be bread like without flour, but the things turned into dust when I tried to put them in my mouth. What do you think I did wrong? I was thinking maybe too much of the cream of tartar? My DD was trying to make them for me at first. She thought when she stirred in the tartar they were gonna get firm, so she may have added more. I had to teach her about beating them with the mixerLMAO

ACKKK! I'm falling behind AGAIN! I see that I am so far behind that we even got a new thread. Stick Out Tongue

Anyway... those of you doing low/no carb diets, how soon do you start to notice the weight coming off? I've been at it for a little over a week now (I am so proud!) but without exercise (yet).

I actually find that eating this way doesn't make me feel OMG SOOO FULL - more like content/satisfied. Am I the only one?

Nope, you aren't the only one.. When I stick to my low carb eating, I rarely ever feel hungry. I need to remind myself to eatSmilie

If you have been on it a week, you should have lost something.. When I did low carb the first time and lost 150 pounds, I dropped 16 pounds the first 2 weeks.. This time, much older, slower metabolism and thyroid disorder.. I dropped 9 pounds the first 2 weeks.. so, like everything, it just depends on the individual.

Thanks tm4d & jaime, it feels good although I cant see a change, yet. Dh has acted proud instead of making a smart ass remark like he normally would.

So I havent made it to target, I've been trying to get to kohls as much as possible, I still have 14 qs to go OMG and only 5 days to use them all. On the upside dd has two cut outfits, a pair of sunglasses and a headband for her bday, plus the tv and tinkerbell movie, (oh and I'm gonna get her the beauty and the beast tomorrow) I think maybe a few more things at kohls.

dd was so sick this morning she got dehydrated and started having contractions. Off to the doc for the afternoon and some re-hydrating. Stopped by Target on the way home to get her RX filled and took a quick look at clearance while we waited. Little freezers were still at 111.xx, saw some wood/metal chairs at 75% and the same sheet sets but not in the size I need. They are having a special at the hospital this week, 400 TC, top sheet, fitted sheet and 4 pillow cases 20.00 all sizes. I think I'll pick up a set.
Awww sending your dd lots of hugs and for you too!! Hope she feels better!! HUGS!!

First they ask me to go to cs cause lines are getting long and I had only few items (13). No counter space for my stuff. I thinking good no crap about my Q's.
HELL TO THE NO
First she stats inspecting them like they have all of lifes answers..I knew I was in for it . Reads Q picks up matching item hmm maybe lifes answers are here ,,not happy ...they match!

I swear it took her 10 minutes to ring up thirteen items. Lines backing up
I am sooooo ready to call corporate she was just looking for a fight. musn't do musn't do it

Oh forgot abot the signage Big two foot clearance sign with nothing but finish on them says 30% off, pick one up 10,xx clearanced to 8.47 say to red can you scan this for me sign says 30% off this isn't marked 30% , if you do the math, he refers me to the 1 inch sticker and says SEE it says it's 15 off. I say maybe you better take down the sign , he says well if you want to argue about it take it to cs , won't take down the sign. I say no thanks. UGGGGGG
