i think that person used to post in the cvs clearance thread but it's been real slow there lately. why did she have to come over to target?

Apparently, I need to hop over to deals to see what kind of trouble you two are causing.
I have been a bad dieter and I need to get back on track. All this grumbling about it and the next thing I am going to do is go make onion rings for supper. Yeah, I know. Bad, bad, bad. But they are soooo good, good, good. The ribs are pressure cooked and sitting out there in barbecue sauce, figured I'd get the onion rings made then when hubby gets home I can crank the ribs back up to heat them a little more while I fry the onion rings. And mushrooms, I think I'm going to do some mushrooms too.
I have accomplished pretty much nothing today. I have mostly sat here on my butt doing coupon stuff and idly chatting. Let's see, I pressure cooked ribs - that took all of 2 minutes of my time to throw them on and take them off, plop in another pan with bbq sauce. I picked trash up out of the backyard -- a dog got into an open bag of trash and dragged some stuff out -- another 1 minute of my time actively used. Oh, wait, almost forgot. I vacuumed the living room and kitchen - 10 more minutes.

Hey, I was productive today! Well, sort of... Got a load of laundry folded, batch of cookies made (ok, ok, I pulled apart the free Nestle tollhouse doughballs from the package...
now it's all squished together and the page bar is grey and not coordinated w/ the rest of the page.
can't even see the bar for search and view unread.
why can't they work on keeping my subscriptions instead of making the page look uglier???

By the time I was done breading the onion rings and the mushrooms the crust was baked so I used some of those lovely bananas that were right there taunting me, cooked the pudding and made a banana cream pie.
The dogs are going nuts so I think hubby just drove into town. I hope so or who know what else I will feel the need cook.

My kids LOVE the trios, they have a billion here and a coupole of packages at the inlaws
ETA: Everything is packaged separate, so it'd be really easy to substitute out the sauce for a different flavor, or leave out the chicken, or save the noodles and make rice instead, etc... I love free easy dinners on soccer nights!
No updates at my store this morning. No biggie, though - cashier selection was the pits, so I just got me some cheapo mac n cheese (.24 for the Halloween Kraft mac n cheese) and animal crackers (MP brand, big bag of a bunch of little bags) for .76. Also got two Curel gc deals, plus cat treats (tiny MM with the TQs and MQs). Oh, and TS3, which I then "remembered" that I had a coupon for at home, so had her void it off my order. :lol: The things we do to get our savings!!

I shut off the furnace and opened a few windows to air it out in here. I noticed that my hands are like ice. It got down to 59 in here. Windows are shut, furnace is blasting.
Hubby still not home, dogs gave a false alert. Dang, I'm hungry.
