Oh yeah, ladies keep you eyes out for Duracell Peelies, I found a few. There are $1 TQs and also .75 cents. They go very nicely with the recent MQs. Also there is a pack for $9.99 and it has a free Tidetogo mini stain remover pen in it The Duracell MQ did not beep and it autoed and attached. Whee Then gave the TQ last and it did not beep and took of the full $1.
OMG you just made me more evil I just used the Duracell coupon over at Kmart... worked nicely but may need to add a few to my stack at Target LOL

Quote from mama2cole :
Did you scan the Olay? Mine all was marked $5.44 and all rang up $5.04.

I'm heading out early tomorrow with both kids to hit up some hopefully 90% off halloween clearance. I decided that next year we're going to have a princess and pirate birthday party for the kids. Need to stock up on some stuff with pirate potential.

night night
Can you come and do all my parties? Please and thanks Smilie You are so creative!! LOVE IT!!

Quote from Nikayla :
Well you a youngin lil miss! I am 12 yrs older than you. I have only been extreme couponing for about 4 yrs. And when I started out (2 years befor that) I remember saving $80 at Walmart and still spending $200 and I thought that was awesome, I would only shop about once a month and it was always about the same.

Then we finally got the internet at home and I slowely started learning how to get better and better at it.
Your lucky to have figured it out so young. We paid for every single diaper with our 13 yr and 7 yr DDs, they both wore Luvs most of the time. That is why when that very first Pampers GC deal happened at Target I turned into a crazy, nesting, shopping, maniac. I was a few months from my due date and I would make Target circuts, I stockpiled $5k of diapers and wipes! Oh and made like $500 in GC! It was insane! There were MQs for both the diapers and wipes, TQs for $5 off if you bought diapers and wipes and a TQ for a $5 GC when you bought diapers and wipes, I think after GC I was making $3 or $4 per set. I was only getting 4 sets of each at first then I upped it to 8 each shopping trip. My lil man is almost 2 and I have not 'paid' for a single diaper or wipe.
WTG Tina!! I REFUSE to pay for diapers, it would make me ill LMAO I have 4, yes 4 in diapers... sooooooooo I cannot imagine paying for all those diapers..
Quote from setsail :
I almost spit out my drink!
All this pizza talk, we were cleaning house and rearranging furniture so I bought pizza. 5off15 for $5 off a $15 or more Papa John's online order. Two $10 pizza, 2 cinnapies and 2 sodas for $22 out the door. Not free but not bad.

I saw those signs last night and now the strict store near me now has the GSTL come over to scan ALL coupons. Mad I can't imagine how that is going to work when there is more than one customer ready to pay and coupons need to be scanned. What a pita.

How long we've been married- 18 years, 6 weeks.
YEAH I would sooooooooooo not go to that store, it would irritate the sh-t out of me to wait for some dumb arse gstl...

Quote from mama2cole :
Ugh. My kiddos were up last night also. DS sounds like an 80 year old chain smoker with his croup, and the baby woke up screaming because she had pooped and has horrible diaper rash. BUT... DH let me sleep until 10:30 this morning.

My sisters is going up $180 per paycheck. She is pissed.

Oh, I so miss free pizza Friday. In light of the current TGIF deal, I'm instituting free fajita Friday at my house... effective immediate

9 years and a few months.

Soooo... I had a VERY interesting run this afternoon. Saw a girl who I had tested out before and she passed round 1 of potential Jedi training. So I was ready to try round 2 with her. (I usually do 2 trials before attempting STFC). So I gather up the usually suspects and go to check out and she's gone. But I see a younger guy who I never seen before so I think "what the heck, let's give him a spin". While I'm checking out I notice that taped to EVERY register is this note:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To ensure every guest receives the full value for each coupon, we are introducing a temporary coupon redemption process effective immediately. We expect to have this systematically resolved within the next 10 days.

NEW! Temporary Coupon Redemption Process
1. Make eye contact with the guest, smile and give a sincere greeting.
2. Ask each guest at the beginning of the transaction 'Do you have any coupons today?'
3. Set the coupons aside until the end of the transaction
4. Scan all items

5. Process coupons one by one and check to ensure full value of each coupon was applied. If needed, adjust coupon amount by selecting
a) Discounts
b) Manufacturer coupon
c) Key in the remaining coupon amount Your immediate implementation of the above process will ensure we are providing a great guest experience.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I start chatting with him about the current coupon problems and about how I've been filling out my surveys and putting on there about how ridiculous it is, blah blah blah. He scanned like a champ, manually put in an extra .50 when my Glade only deducted $2.50, k1d where needed, and when 1 of my b1g1s deducted $5 and the next Q only took off $3.50, he manually entered another $1.50. At the end of my tranny the LOD walks by he mentions that the register is running really slow (which it was) so she stopped for a second and saw the pile of coupons and asked if there were any problems, and he said just a few, but that he had fixed them. So I say... yes, he fixed them all, he was a really GREAT cashier. And at the same time they both say... well he/I should be, he's/I'm the STORE MANAGER! OMG I almost wet my pants right there. I mean, it wasn't a true STFC run, but it was close. I told him that I really appreciated how considerate he was about making sure that everything scanned correctly and that he was a great model for his employees. Then I told DH to push the cart as fast as he could to the parking lot.
Awww I hope your DS and DD are feeling better!! Sorry!! Sending lots of hugs and healthy vibes!!

Ok if I found out my "jedi" for the day was the store manager I would almost die... lol

Quote from flugette :
a little bit? I had a yard sale this morning, and am SO excited!!!! I made $500!!!! That's a record for me. It also means I have to get shopping because I have 2 more flea markets this month and my inventory was significantly depleted today. I still have enough, but need more variety.

Since I earned way beyond my expectations, I went and got myself a Bissell Pro Heat carpet cleaner. They are giving $15 gift cards this week, plus there's the manufacturer's rebate, so it ended up being a pretty sweet deal. Does anyone have this particular machine? I read the reviews online (after I bought it, of course and it seems like everyone loves it and it gets bad stains out. Just what I need!!
Awesome!! I am so excited for you... can you come over here and do a flea market for me? I have a basement FULL to the brim of products lol

Quote from cathi4savings :
Oh NO ... me too
Awww sorry you used out on it... I did too Frown I was out from 9am this morning til 11pm almost... did wayyyyyyyyyy too much shopping lol

Quote from HDDVDTV :
New coupon rule at my store. No more than 10 coupons can a customer use told to me by a new employee as he counts as he scans coupons.

GS said new rule is if more than 10 q's a manager must be called over.
To do what I don't know.

Really bummed by T right now.
WTF kind of rule is that!?! CRAZINESS!! They are beginning to pull Hellmart ideas!!

Quote from myluvjustice :
We've been married 6 years and together for 15 years and I'm 28
You sure are a young 28 Wink
Quote from cathi4savings :
Meeshhe...this is for you,and it's a good one !
Hmmm gonna check tomorrow for it!! Thanks!! Smilie

Quote from Dazzledby5 :
Had a STFC run today, then this guy walks up behind me and shouts "I never knew SO MANY CPOUPONS even EXISTED!'' just as I had about a dozen or so Qs left. He goes to another regisater, pays and leaves, I follow out shortly after that. I told my DS#1 to park the cart the under the trunk lift gate as I buckle the baby in. Just after I close her door I hear a L.O.U.D. rev of a engine and then a big ass boom - crash.

That stupid MFer that had made the comment to me earlier is parked right next to me and floored it - bashed into the MACH truck extra kid cart that HE had left right in front of his SUV and smashed it into the Target building, then it comes and rolls into my BRAND NEW VW!!! At this point I am shaking in fear, but decide to check out my car for any damage, there is none but the guy starts going, ''It is fine, SHUT UP KIDS, it's not even my cart, someone left it right in front of my car"

I'm all like (in my head) right asshole, I saw you in the store with it, then I realize he is most likely drunk but it is raining freezing cold rain drops at 48 degrees and I'm not wearing a coat and I am trembling in fear already -- I cant find my phone, I am worried for the 2 kids I have with me and the pen that is supposed to be in my purse ISN"T. He the pulls away - nicely out of the space - but then peels out around the corner to pull in front of T - where all the people get in and out of :
I know you can use *junkie
OMG I am soooooooo sorry... some people I tell you Frown Sending many hugs!!!

won a huge pot in an online poker tourney. I haven't played in a while!

Percy - the dog - is doing pretty darn well. She *barely* limps now - and only after she gets overly rambunctious and jumps around a lot. Oh... our crazy neighbor is at it again. This time, she apparently called animal control because we didn't take the dog to the vet. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) Hmm... lets see... feed my kids or take the dog to the vet er??

And I totally love popcorn on the stove. I don't like the taste of the bagged stuff. *shrug*

Ugh. I do need to do a *little* shopping today/tonight. We have some beef I can do something with for dinner, but lunch/dinner tomorrow is going to be annoyingly sparse.
We had a jackass neighbor that called animal control before on me... oops for owning an endangered animal...oops LOL I got fined 200 bucks and told to get a permit... yeah ok HAHA!! Whatever I dislike noisy jerky neighbors that should worry about what goes on under their own roof instead of yours..hugs!!
Quote from Nikayla :
Those Teacup pigs are so dang cute!

I would say your family is spoiled!! You round up an amazing Christmas, wowzers! I sure hope they appreciate how hard you work to get that all together, at least your DH and the older ones. I know the little ones think they guy in the red suit deserves all the credit. For the inlaws I would go for "Spa" baskets, but that is what we can afford. You know, a nice set of clearanced T towells, glade candles & sprays, razors, shower gel, etc.

Congrats on the poker, I have never played
OMG I think the Pandora bracelets are too cute!! My kids all still believe in Santa and don't believe they are spoiled at all.. my two older dd's still have not worn the same shirt to school yet since the year started and am still taking tags off shirts everyday...and they complain they don't have any clothes... lol spoiled... my inlaws told me they want a 50" plasma... me no thinks so...lol I am going to see what JcP has cheap as I bought the 10 off 10 coupons and have to use them by Monday LOL

Quote from ank220 :
DD's are sick - my toddler is driving me nuts though.

Oy... just got a call. DH's grandmother was taken back to the hospital about 2 hours ago. They aren't expecting her to make it.

Can this weekend be over yet?
Awww I am so sorry!! Your poor dh!! And I hope your dd's feel better soon!! HUGS!!!

Quote from kallison423 :
I am in a ridiculously good mood today and I have NO idea why, but I haven't been this happy in months, so I'm not complaining!
YAY!! Glad you are in a good mood HUGS!!

Quote from Tracy1106 :
I hope you feel better soon. I definitely say skip the baby shower..maybe you can squeeze in a nap.

Son's football game is at noon and hubby and I are going to dinner for our 10 yr anniversary .I am a little stressed because we are going someplace super nice and I don't have anything to wear. :mad : I would rather go someplace a little more casual and just dress up some jeans with a nice shirt/sweater, jewelry, and boots. He insists on going to this "ritzy" place. I have no time to clothes shop today. Hopefully this won't end up stressing me out.

I hope I can squeeze in a little shopping in between!
Happy Anniversary!! Hope you had a lovely time and went shopping too Wink

Quote from bunnies46 :

Umm..yes.

I so have to get a keurig. How can I be with the 'in crowd' if I can't mimick you all. Sigh..the difficulties in life.

Missing you guys. How is Ms. Jamie and her tooth?
Ank..how is bow wow?
Meesh..just hi
Rachael...hi and how are you feeling?
M2T..hi to you too!
justice..hi

And for all of you that I missed...sorry.

I was so sick yesterday. Fever, vomitting both oral and anal and just blah! Went to bed early last night and slept, slept, slept. Wanted to T today, but we shall see.
Hi!! I hope you feel better!!

Quote from bunnies46 :
I know that feeling! I have no good clothes either. DH gets upset with me because I don't buy myself anything, but we are hand to mouth and I'm sorry but the kiddo's come first.
How old are the kids?? Girls or boys?? HUGS!!

It took me awhile to find the Target thread too, I lurked for over a year!
Oh yes I remember the Luvs, but see I didn't know I would be preggers so I only 'bought' 4 total packs and then gave those away. I thought they took up to much room in my cart and I had so much JMS to get and HMS coupons to use, oh and salsa Teehee my cart ended up being to full for those big packs of diapers. Then I got pregnant and the pamper deal came around, suddenly I shopped a LOT more and had lots of room for diapers in my cart laugh out loud

It was so funny that you had to buy the three pack of wipes along with the single pack of diapers, I sold half my wipes at GS for $3 a pack. And I still have lots of them left, thank goodness they haven't dried out or gotten moldy or something weird. Opened a new pack of wipes today and they still smell new. Oh yeah my BDay is in Sept too, the 13th, cool.
I remember that now! September is a great birthday month. Big Grin And wow do I miss those coupon days. The Lego coupon.... lol
Quote from love2beeamom :
Okay.. All of us September babies.. I remember now, setsail.. you and I turned 39 on the same daySmilie

And yes on the pampers deal.. I almost forgot. That was my first big deal. I have sold so many wipes at yard sales. I used to wonder too why we had to get so many wipes in relation to diapers with that deal. I remember the target 5.00 off coupon working along with the target gc coupon! those were great days!!
I didn't even think of doing yard sale until recently. I was giving extras away.

hug Our wedding was 2 weeks before my 21st birthday. I never imagined I would get married and move 3000 miles from my family but it's funny how life works out. Our oldest was born when I was 25. I do understand what you are saying, I feel the same way when I see people that are in their mid 20s, have 3 or 4 kids and want more right away. Good golly there is so much life to be lived in your 20s, make the most of it, not just having kids (no offense to anyone, I love my kids dearly but I believe women should learn to be their own person before taking on wife and mother roles, not that it can always be planned but some of it can)

What is this duracell coupon that everyone seems to be excited about??

Thank you for the well wishes. Kids are still blechy and the baby is not sleeping well and feels slightly warm. Frown DH's grandmother is stablized, so we're just waiting for news and updates - but it sounds like things improved drastically.

I just re-read my comment on the poker and realized it sounds like I won money... *laugh* I did win some big pots, but it was all play money! I did win a seat in a tournament for real money though - so I hope I can be patient and win that one too!

ank... salty chili... don't know what stage of chili cooking you are at, but a few options:

1. cook some unsalted beans separately in water and then mix in with the chili. you can always just remove some of the salted beans from the chili before adding in the unsalted ones so as not mess up the proportion of the other spices.

2. if you have any extra meat mix that in.

3. another option, since you have it in the slow cooker... drain some of the water you have put in there. since the salt is dissolved in the water. and replace with plain water.

i hate migraines.
Drats I already have soup in the crockpot, I need to plan for some chili next week. ..yummy

I undersstand exactly what you are saying I missed out on everything, I got pregnant at 18 had my daughter at 19, DH and I were already together for 5 years at that point, and it just happened out of the blue, but because of it I didnt make it to college. I was raised to be a mom and have always taken care of people, but I have never had the oppurtunity to take care of only myself, I went from taking care of my mother and running the family and household to taking care of dh, and then to taking care of our kids and dh and running the new household. So I do wonder what I have missed out on, and I am disappointed in myself for not getting to college and getting a great career and a house before getting children etc. I feel like I have cheated them a bit.Frown

hug Aww I didn't mean to make anyone feel like that, I'm sorry. hug I couldn't think of a better way to word what I was trying to say and in re-reading, it still comes across as bit judgmental. I truly didn't mean what I said in that way. Unexpected wonderful surprises happen, I'm talking more of the got to have a baby right away, kind of like the Duggars. laugh out loud

It's really hard for us as women to balance our lives, as you wrote going from taking care of parents, to kids, to parents again.

Awww sweetie!!! No worries...I will tell you I am not even 30 yet.. been married for 9 years... and have 8 kids.. life is all what you make of it.. I have days where I feel like a horrible mom b/c I go to school, even tho I only attend physical class once a week, I still have MASSIVE amounts of homework to which negates the amount of time I get to spend with the kids, plus I do everything I can to ensure my kids have everything that they need or want.. but when it comes up to me.. I barely take care of myself Frown I don't have the time to do everything I used to do for myself, but its OK!! We are all different but with each differences we tend to appreciate each other for our differences and then the ways we are alike... love ya!!
