I'd be an awesome president, btw. As long as this country is in debt, let's rack up some more Big Grin Wink

And, yes, cynicism is indeed a fear of disappointment. My poor psyche can't take any more disappointment this year, so I do my best to deal.

And on another thing, shenanigans at Sephora today bounce
Oooo! What did you do at Sephora? Just found one here!
I,too, just found a Sephora and was wondering how one shenaniganizes one also.

It's a consequence of being a meanie TCC'er.

Bunnies, that's totally awesome! I am in awe.

We all know that Jamie is in a league all her own. Can't compete with that, and gives us all warm fuzzy feelings to know that we know her!

Thanks everyone, we're all alright. Utility company came out and checked furnace, water heater and stove and no leaks. My best guess is the wood burning stove that we have. J must have closed the damper on the flue a little more than normal and the fire in the stove was burning inadequately. By the time I got the kids to my SILs (near Mini Thrift's school) the whole house was reading at 0 again. J had opened all the windows immediately...but with it being in the 20's this morning, we high tailed it.

I am so glad everyone is OK.

Our CO detector went off last year and we found out that they have a life span. It should say on the back when it starts-ours was 6 or 7 years. They have a sensor that is only good for that time and though it will still give you the display it may not be functioning as a detector. Ours had been plugged in and working when I moved it to a new outlet. When I replugged it in it went off. I had 2 neighbors come over, one a Fire Capt. and the other a furnace installer and they are the ones that told me about the lifespan. Please check yours out. Also, here you have to buy them as the Fire Dept only gives out Smoke Alarms.

A friend did a test when we told him-ran his car with the detector plugged in next to the exhaust-no alarm or high reading.
Thank you for this information. I did not know this. Ours are plugged in and have been for about 3 years. I will take them out and look at them.

Nah, not going to have anyone send me anything- too expensive.

Yes, making progress. Sucks that the first amount of money I've made since March-ish had to go for a U-haul, though. So now as long as I don't lose my mind again, it should be smooth sailing.

I'm exceptionally picky about coffee- gotta get whole bean and grind it myself every morning. I very rarely see any whole bean at grocery stores around here Frown

Okay, Midol needs to come with one of those things like you put on your car keys if you lose them. That is all. Censored

Ank - Did you see that there is a $1/1 Philly Cream Cheese IP Q that was just released? May come in handy for all those cheesecakes you are making.

Finally bought *several* Sonicare TB today!

Also, found a whole shelf full of $0.84 suave! Sucks that all the coupons beeped.

I am now the proud owner of WAY too many sleepwear items.

Great shopping day! All went well except my overly excited cashier threw my $40 balance GC in her drawer with probably 100 other GCs. they had to scan each one to find mine. OMG

Nice job! WTG! I hope to join the "too many pj's and enough toothbrushes to outfit a dentist's office" club tomorrow.

I soooo wish I could shop without the kids. I just never got out to do it today. *sigh* My oldest is going w/DH & friends to a local concert tonight (yay for free tix!), so there's no shopping tonight. Just not up to dragging my sleepy toddler around. *laugh*

Did you get the nerf guns BOGO @ RA too? My store didn't have them bogo just $14.99 - $2+up, did they count for the buy $20 get $5+up? I really wanted them. I still have $18+up expireing -- OH SHITE -- T.O.D.A.Y! guess I will be going out tonight.
