Oh this is just horrific, so sad, and must really be terrfying for the kids, even if they aren't saying so. School is just one of those place your supposed to be safe, like home and church .

Just got back from RA to get the Huggies diapers, and amazingly they had enough Airwick to do a transaction. Guess my local couponers haven't gone out for the sales yet this week, either!!
Glad you had an uneventful trip... I guess she struck again gone over there for hours today ,supposedly to pick up her olay at dg (all they had ) they held for her.
And fingers crossed for me this week- hoping to get work stuff back up and running 100%.

We flew to Cali and traveled from San Fran down to LA this past summer and stayed at several along the way. They are a bit more expensive along the coast, but you can get good deals if you do the pay now option (whatever that is called). I didn't know this before we went to Cali, I'm sure it's common knowledge, but just in case you didn't know...hotels charge MORE as they fill up and run deals closer to the date if they aren't as full as they want.
Anyway, the deal with Embassy is that they do a free full breakfast with made to order eggs, pancakes, french toast, waffles, etc with all the potatoes, biscuits, sausage, bacon, tons of fruit, yogurt, bagels, toast, muffins, juice, coffee, you name it....sooo yummy!!
But then for the grownups, there is a manager's reception in the evening (5:30-7:30 I believe) where they do free drinks!!!! They will only let you have one per hand at a time, but you keep getting back in line for the full 2 hours. Comes with free appetizers, too. Each hotel is different, but most do the fresh popcorn, pretzels, chips and hotsauce etc...but a few we went to have done mini pizzas, quesadillas, chicken nuggets, etc.
For the girls slumber party, the girls get free cokes and shirley temples and the appetizers. I always order pizzas to be delivered since I don't know if the appetizers will be the first group or some of the second group for a heartier snack/meal.
Plus, hot tub and indoor pool. You never need to leave. Actually beginning to look forward to 12 giggly 13 year olds...

Got my hair did today.
Christmas clearance was still at 75% and there was next to nothing left. No trees or outdoor stuff. Sweet Tarts, Exceptionals in some weird flavor, a few ornaments, and some odd and end crap. Bought some sweet tarts just to eat.
Got 378 bottles of Suave. It was free ya know.
Oh wait. I did find a 2 pack of Pyrex clear glass 9" pie pans. Reg. price is $5.19(?) on clearance for $2.59, I believe.
I did go to Kohls and used some of those coupons. Got 4 ornaments for under a dollar. A 2 pack of fuzzy socks, free. A necklace for my daughter for under $2, and a candle and skirt for around $1. Cute skirt for DD for work.
Found a pair of boot slippers at Younker's that I liked but didn't buy. They were actually Muk Luks but were black and fur instead of a wild print. I almost got them then I tried on another pair (different style, same brand) in an XL and they felt better. After walking in the ones I liked, it just felt like it was creeping under my heal weird. The L is my shoe size, but I think the XL would be better. Gonna see if they have it online.
I am still wondering what is gonna happen the next time I see her out and about

That's partly how I ended up here. I really can't remember how I started looking or what I started looking for. I think I got referred to either AFC or HCW and searched on my own from there. At first glance you would expect either of those sites to be better than here for couponing and here more for the Hot Deals type of stuff.
If you just wander in here off the streets, you have to either search or just stumble upon the Target thread, the Walgreens threads, etc. those two site each store is very easy to find. But, geez, thread after thread and nothing moves. So much more detailed info here.
I am bathed, fed, and in bed. My feeties hurt. I think I am going to say good night and snuggle down... and digest my pizza. It was yummy.

Had a horrible time at 2 target stores last night. Today I had a mediocre coupon run and DH was stopped before his horse even left the corral.
