I have looked a few times for these and just do not see them.

I wanted to start out my morning with a gripe and rant.. It aggravates me so much to look for coupons on the bay, and see the prices so jacked up.. And then the auctions says.. "coupons are free, you are just paying for my time to clip, sort, etc.".. so, why does it take so much more time to clip and sort some coupons than others? I mean, it cost me 1.50 to pay for your time for one coupon, but it will cost me over 10.00 for you to clip some finish coupons?? My stash of electrasol is gone, so I decided to price check some coupons, and I couldn't believe the cost
I so miss the days of being able to dumpster dive in the newspaper recycle bin here

Okay, end of rant..
I agree, it is starting to be highway robery! I wish I had known you needed a few more Finish, I have three or four I could have tossed into your envie. I still have a pretty good stash from the Electrasorel days. Should be getting to you soon.

I've found them in electronics near the iTunes GCs.
All I see by our iTunes are iTunes. I think you can use TGC to pay for a online order, I have those, I could order my Disney GC online I think? Evil

I have most of supper in the crock pot. The chicken is just about defrosted, so I have to cube and cook it, then throw it in. I'm making some sort of white chicken chili soup/stew stuff. Never made it. Mom gave the recipe, says it's delicious. We shall see. (Pretty sure I won't like it -- don't care much for beans, don't like chicken).
I LOVE chicken chili! We eat it with the Lime Tostitos.

I'm gonna go down three times a week and do whatever they need
Thanks for asking.

You know it is not going to be a smooth ride whe your 9 y/o yells "MoOoOoOM! I don't think I'm gonna make it!" as you are ripping your bare fingers thru the metal framing of the teeny tiny shell they put you in.
Here are some quotes I found:
And I wear contacts and all the cold air that circulate thru was just blowing the contacts right off my eyeballs so I would have to prolong blink and lose focus on the screen and the whole spinning thing happened BAD
I hate those spin and barf rides!!! I think it is one I would skip for sure. When we went to Disney and were riding Space Mountain I remember it being so windy, I could feel my eyelashes blowing in the wind! I ask DH if he could feel it since he has super long amazing lashes and he said no, must have been because masquera creats additional drag or something lol.

Funny toddler story of the day.. we went and picked up our stuff from the co-op group thing we are in.. we get food and other random things once a week. Anyway, I was late getting there cause I was at target Teehee and an older man in the group had already started sorting stuff and so I didn't see what was in my box until I got home. He had place a box of tampons in there.. Anyway, my toddler was unloading all my target bags and thanking me for each item I had gotten her. SHe started digging through my box and pulled out the tampons all excited and said "thank you mommy.. thank you for buying this for me'.. then she opened up the box and told her daddy "mommy bought me popsicles" :lm ao:
laugh out loud So cute! Back when I was in college my roommate had a little girl and she used to call tampons coupons. (to bad I didn't know how to coupon back then, we never even used coupons, she just could not say tampon and would say coupon instead) So one night we had invited some guys over for movies and she comes running out from the bathroom with one in her hand waving it around yelling "I found some coupons mommy!!" My roommate jumped up telling her "Thank you for the coupons sweety we will play with those later." and took her back before they saw what she had. We were so glad she couldn't say tampon Stick Out Tongue

Hi all. Just checkin in. Watched TLC Extreme Couponing last night. All I heard on the radio this morning was how obsessive the lady was who had enough TP to last 40 years. Is it bad that I am jealous of her stockpile?
I have never seen it but I really want to, just hearing of it I am jealous!!

Quote from .teri. :
We bought the disc because well, how could we not buy it :lo l: Heck, I've already bought 4 Christmas dresses on clearance for her for next year and she's only 3 weeks old. Somebody stop meeeeeee :rol l:

She's doing good. I'm exhausted. DSIL is out of town working so I've been staying with DD and working...so not alot of sleep...but Ellie had the turning blue incident and short stay in hospital and DD is still afraid it'll happen again and feels better having someone with her while DSIL is gone. He's coming home tonight though and I may just sleep for a week : )
How scary!!! I would be scared as well and want my mom to stay too, esp with DH out of town. I worried constantly about SIDS and none of my kids had any incidents, I can't imagine the worry if they had. You are a awesome mom doing so much for DD and Ellie, the pics are adorable!
Quote from ank220 :
Just got a call from DH's mom. Grandma fell and hit her head and has bleeding on the brain. Possibly going to need some kind of surgery.
Frown Pray Same thing happened to my Grandma. They ended up drilling a tiny hole to relieve pressure and then the bleeding healed itself and stopped in a few weeks. She didn't need further surgery or anything they just kept a very close eye on her.
Quote from ank220 :
Oooh... I just had a thought. What was the dumbest thing you bought last year just because you had a coupon for it?

For me it was the solar lights at Target. I bought around 9 of them, and they are still in my closet unused.
I got a LOT of those stupid solar lights. Put a few out and the neighborhood kids kept playing with them and runined them so I never put out as many as I had wanted too. Neighbors on both sides have 2 to 3 yr olds. Hopefully they store well and we can use them when/if we ever move from this frozen place. Won't be for a year at least though.

I still have over half a tote of Fur Fighters! laugh out loud The refills, remember how skinny the packages were.

I have been making Guac and what the heck is wrong with avacadoes lately? What are those string or root things inside them? Kind of gross!
I used to only make it once or twice a year and never noticed it. Since there was that free avacado coupon I had been making it about once a week and the last few months there is more and more stringyness. Is it a out of season thing? Stored to cold or picked to soon? I won't be buying them as often now the coupon has expired. But I get that craving and hope the next time I buy they will just be that nice buttery creamy green and no string things!

Not sure about the cases but I do know where you could send a few tubes Teehee When we had a ultrasound with our first DD the tech opened a brand new tube of KY to put on my tummy. It was the most hugest tube I had ever seen, even DH was like OMG when he saw it. Awe, thanks GG. Well I don't think it is THAT rare! Happened with the last 8 or so and of the last three one was unedible. Oh and they were from three different stores! Not the last three avacadoes but with the last 8 I have bought were at three different stores. hug Hope you are able to get some sleep soon. Keeping you in Pray Comfort

depends what size you need. if you can do with a bunch of the small to medium sized ones, the usps flat rate ones are free. they'll even deliver to you. or you can pick up a few at a time at a post office. they're good for dishes, books and such. heavy stuff that you want smaller boxes for.

do you have a staples near you? or OD or OM? you could recycle ink cartridges, then use those recycling rewards to "buy" boxes.

finally, if you look on craigslist or post on freecycle, lots of people have corporate moves and then give away the entire set of matching boxes. just relabel with room/contents/box number and you're set.
I might order some of the large boxes but I thinkthey would drive me crazy.
Quote from gt6mk31 :
Do we all need to and then go
Do they all have to match or can you do groups -- like the kitchen all one kind, bathroom another, etc? If that will work, get boxes from a couple restaurants. They usually have a lot of the same boxes and they are usually pretty sturdy. When I moved, I had a lot of advance notice so my friend who managed a Long John Silvers started hauling home boxes. Mine all came from her and I had about 3 different sizes.
Yeah, batches is what I will most likely do. My DH brought me some heavy duty pig shoulder boxes that have handle holes and my FIL brings me apple & sweet potato boxes the also have handles

Oh, trust me, I know that. But when you have $10 in your pocket to feed yourself, your parents, a dog and a cat for at least the next 2 months...well, big sacrifices have to be made. I didn't like the implication from those other people that cheaper food meant that I didn't care about my animals, it was incredibly rude on their part.

Sorry that happened. hug I know what living on a budget is like - I have 2 kids, a hubby, 3 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 horses. DH is finally going back to work next month after 2 years of being laid off, and I left my job yesterday to focus on my 17 credits + clinicals for school this semester.

I've managed to stash a little away to get us by, but the thought of everything makes me wanna vomit a little....

went to sleep late last nite and up early again (for me). woke up to it lightly snowing but it looks like it's coming down harder now. happy i got my 90% off all out of my system yesterday. it's very strange how i managed to find pretty much one of each food item but probably better for my bulging food pantry. it's so bad i've resorted to just throwing things on top of other stuff and closing the door. today i have to sort thru all my treasure and decide what i'm keeping and what bff is getting. then focus on house cleaning.

yesterday i tried to be good so i ordered a 1.49 grilled chicken snack wrap, side salad that wasn't anywhere on the menu but rang up 1.99 and asked for a cup of water at mcdonalds. eating healthy is expensive! i could do so much damage off the dollar menu.

wait a minute!!! i'm checking the calories for the snack wrap and the side salad is on the dollar menu online Angry! somebody is getting a phone call today. i'm just getting sick and tired of people getting overcharged or paying for what i don't want. the newspaper called w/ an excellent deal for the sunday paper delivered and somebody that is not me put it on the credit card, taking their word for it that it would automatically be cancelled at the end of the promo. checking my email yesterday and my welcome email says i will automatically be charged the 5th every month and the price will go up after the promo unless we tell them differently. that is how they get you. people are too lazy to call and cancel. just happened to bff so she's paying more for the paper than me.

wed nite went to sonic for the first time and i ordered 2 sonic burgers at the drive thru. she asked me if i wanted cheese and i asked if it was included and she said yes. person sitting next to me did not check the receipt so didn't find out i was charged extra for a cheeseburger until after i pulled out. luckily for them it was late, i was hungry and tired and i was using a bogo coupon or i would have gone back around and had them fix the order to teach them a lesson. i'm gonna call the survey number at the bottom of the receipt and complain today also and get my free 44oz drink code.

i'm just tired of getting nickel and dimed to death. bad enough that the cashiers at target keep forgetting to give me my bag credit and wasting my time. last nite the cashier told me i had to go to cs to get a gift receipt for the whole transaction. sick and tired of liars. stood my ground and told her this was my 3rd target of the day and the other 2 cashiers could do it no problem, just punch in the vcd #. she got the deer in headlights look on her face and turned on the flashy light. why is it that when people don't know how to do something they lie and make up stuff? just admit you don't know and go ask somebody. next time i'm gonna confront them and say *listen, are you just saying that b/c you just don't know how to do it? it's ok to admit you don't know how to do something, just don't lie to me b/c i know better.* can you tell i'm fed up?

sorry for the ranting.

hug ank and hoping dh's grandma will recover quickly.

I actually have 2 closets. Our laundry room is actually outside the house. It's a nice sized room with 2 big closets. I keep all potential presents out there because I'm the only one who goes out there ever. The smaller closet I use for stuff I KNOW is going to be a gift for someone. Usually when I buy it I put a post it with their name on it and stick it in there. The other one is for extra crap I can use for birthday parties or to donate or to sell if it's still in there after a while.

TN, I finally found those darn Planters nuts. They were at my reg Ts. On the bottom shelf, not directly below the planters nuts. They are in stand up boxes with the top off at a diagonal. These are perfect for the homeless shelter as they are in dire need of single serving packaged food items to put in bag lunches they send off with people.

Oh dear - I have the fur fighters too! Glad to hear things worked out w/your grandma. Last we heard this morning was that they were taking her in for a CT scan to check the bleeding. No new news since then.

I had to quit buying avocados - more often than not they had the strings in them or had lots of inner black spots and nastiness. Frown
