She's doing good. I'm exhausted. DSIL is out of town working so I've been staying with DD and working...so not alot of sleep...but Ellie had the turning blue incident and short stay in hospital and DD is still afraid it'll happen again and feels better having someone with her while DSIL is gone. He's coming home tonight though and I may just sleep for a week : )

I have been making Guac and what the heck is wrong with avacadoes lately? What are those string or root things inside them? Kind of gross!
I used to only make it once or twice a year and never noticed it. Since there was that free avacado coupon I had been making it about once a week and the last few months there is more and more stringyness. Is it a out of season thing? Stored to cold or picked to soon? I won't be buying them as often now the coupon has expired. But I get that craving and hope the next time I buy they will just be that nice buttery creamy green and no string things!

DH just came out, saying still up?!? guess I better get to bed.
do you have a staples near you? or OD or OM? you could recycle ink cartridges, then use those recycling rewards to "buy" boxes.
finally, if you look on craigslist or post on freecycle, lots of people have corporate moves and then give away the entire set of matching boxes. just relabel with room/contents/box number and you're set.
Do they all have to match or can you do groups -- like the kitchen all one kind, bathroom another, etc? If that will work, get boxes from a couple restaurants. They usually have a lot of the same boxes and they are usually pretty sturdy. When I moved, I had a lot of advance notice so my friend who managed a Long John Silvers started hauling home boxes. Mine all came from her and I had about 3 different sizes.
Tomorrow is pajama day around here so I should be online more. I'm exhausted from all the shopping this week. I need to make sure my gift closet is cleaned out and organized to get ready for toy clearance.

yesterday i tried to be good so i ordered a 1.49 grilled chicken snack wrap, side salad that wasn't anywhere on the menu but rang up 1.99 and asked for a cup of water at mcdonalds. eating healthy is expensive! i could do so much damage off the dollar menu.
wait a minute!!! i'm checking the calories for the snack wrap and the side salad is on the dollar menu online
wed nite went to sonic for the first time and i ordered 2 sonic burgers at the drive thru. she asked me if i wanted cheese and i asked if it was included and she said yes. person sitting next to me did not check the receipt so didn't find out i was charged extra for a cheeseburger until after i pulled out. luckily for them it was late, i was hungry and tired and i was using a bogo coupon or i would have gone back around and had them fix the order to teach them a lesson. i'm gonna call the survey number at the bottom of the receipt and complain today also and get my free 44oz drink code.
i'm just tired of getting nickel and dimed to death. bad enough that the cashiers at target keep forgetting to give me my bag credit and wasting my time. last nite the cashier told me i had to go to cs to get a gift receipt for the whole transaction. sick and tired of liars. stood my ground and told her this was my 3rd target of the day and the other 2 cashiers could do it no problem, just punch in the vcd #. she got the deer in headlights look on her face and turned on the flashy light. why is it that when people don't know how to do something they lie and make up stuff? just admit you don't know and go ask somebody. next time i'm gonna confront them and say *listen, are you just saying that b/c you just don't know how to do it? it's ok to admit you don't know how to do something, just don't lie to me b/c i know better.* can you tell i'm fed up?

My elder one is sick, very sick...went to the emergency, dehyration..he was on drips yesterday and started throwing up @emergency again. Still he is very sick, atleaast he is taking his fluids now, since he dont want to have shots

TN, I finally found those darn Planters nuts. They were at my reg Ts. On the bottom shelf, not directly below the planters nuts. They are in stand up boxes with the top off at a diagonal. These are perfect for the homeless shelter as they are in dire need of single serving packaged food items to put in bag lunches they send off with people.
