Yes, it is time. I don't care if it is 110 outside. It's only 36 days until the first Auburn football game, so it is time.

Who stands out this early? Texas? ND? laugh out loud (only if you are ESPN)

One interesting thing, there will be games in 3D this year.

Auburn - Clemson game will be in 3D [ledger-enquirer.com]

So apparently the so-called "championship" game was tainted. Field conditions "purposely" left in such a condition to slow down the Oregon offense. Yes, both teams played on the same surface, but poorer field conditions favored the strength of Auburn.

Who was responsible? Bookies from Vegas betting the under? or perhaps the BCS wanted to ensure an Auburn victory. Looks like that title will come with one of these "*" (until its stripped as a result of the ongoing investigations).
Huh

Where did you hear that?

The field was awful.

Mighty fishy. Wonder if Uncle Milty had anything to do with it!

If Ohio State won the trophy, do you think they could swap it for tattoos?

Confused

Quote :
According to a statement from Fiesta Bowl President and CEO John Junker, the field was put in last Monday, after the Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 1. It was grown locally in Maricopa County, Ariz. The field, Junker said, "was not watered topically after it was installed. Water was applied to root structure upon installation."

Looks like the grass seed came from Oregon ... that has nothing to do with over-saturating the soil with water in the few hours before the game to slow down the Ducks offense.

It might not have been the sod. It could have something to do with the way the sod was cared for after it was laid. I know nothing about lawn care though so I'm just speculating.
