Had a crappy day today. wanted to strangle one of my students (even though I teach junior high, I don't feel this way every day, surprisingly enough). I can deal with the behavior issues, organization issues, not doing work, etc. but I have a very short fuse when it comes to disrespect and snotty rudeness. To make it worse, according to his mother he is an angel and the teachers make him do what he does, so I have no recourse or support there. vomit
Then went to pick the kid up and she decided for the second day in a row to opt out of her nap. Had the world's crabbiest toddler by myself tonight until dh got home. Then our toaster oven let out a little explosion and died.
I could REALLY use a drink tonight and this sparkling cider is not going to cut it.

But you guys are doing a pretty good job. Keep up the chatter, you make me smile. Blush

Can I ask what kind of reader does everyone have??? I have a Sony ereader prs~600 touch screen, looking to get a kindle.

For those looking for a good read and like mysteries you try some books written by the author Edgar Wallace, I had never read any of his books before and now I can't get enough of him he can be found all over the internet. I have gotten all my books by him for free.

I have heard of the Calibre before, just havn't downloaded it since I had to get a new computer. I do plan on downloading it though and checking it out. Thank You

She was just asking me if I wanted something that came in the durex kit lol I guess he didn't see Laurens durex kit because the conversation got even odder as we drove. He knew durex referred to condoms but didn't realize they sell other products as well. He was wondering how she was going seperate the gel and the condom and why on earth would we want to do that. He knows I like to save money and thought this was going to far. I guess it was the way it was worded. hahaha Do I want the arousel gel from the durex. Definatly one of the most awkward drives and conversation I've ever had with my son. Just to try and set an example about texting and driving!
Roll That is priceless!

Would any of the Valentine players get upset if you got your box early??? Like way early? Like next week? I have challenged DH to have a NO SPEND FEBRUARY...it is the shortest month of the year and we can only spend $50 on groceries...hopefully we will use up most of our stockpile. Gas...no trips over 50 miles. Regular bills. No eating out. No internet buying (please no good deals happen in Feb!) and I am feeling a little guilty about spending money on postage in Feb...unless I can buy it now and not send it until late Feb??? Any ideas?
Ask at the post office if you can pre pay and then mail later.

sorry it didn't work out for you. Thanks for sharing the deal with us though. We win some and lose some.

Thanks for the reminder! When I got home this afternoon, I came on here and yours was the first post I saw so I went and checked and I got in! I am happy about it, but I hope it doesn't keep me from getting the Philadelphia cream cheese one. I'm dying to try that so I really really want that one! I don't want to sound ungrateful though.
Yeah! Glad one of us got in.

It's a true story.
The funny thing about my furboy was I have never had a dog EVER. Never wanted a smelly dirty licking thing hanging around Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
Dh had to go to AL for 2 weeks years ago to pack up his dad's house. My gf and I went to the movies.

Next to the movies was a pet store called Preppy Puppy. All the pups were in cribs. We went in after the movies and walked around and petted the babes. My boy was there. Very cute and I was petting him along with the others.

As we were leaving, a pup let out a loud squeal. I looked backed and it was my boy barking and looking right at me...

AND that was the end of that...

Did some research, called dh, and went to get him as soon as he got home...bounce
It's been a 15+ love affair ever since...Embarrassment

Dh and I are spending a few days in Vegas in April. Maybe a good time for a vacation for you and dh nod
Love it! Then there is hope for my DIL...she doesn't want a smelly dirty licking thing either and GrD NEEDS one. She loves dogs so much.

Kootz--I lost my quote...I always feel this way when I start doing our taxes...where did our money go last year? We paid cash for our van last year, so I would like to get that $$ built back up as I know how fast savings can go if you have to live off from it. Growing up on a farm in the 80s was a good lesson in some ways for me. I also have a feeling as if we have "enough" of everything and sometimes "stuff" get in the way of what is really important in life.

Help! Please! Can anyone come up with a cute caption for a Val Card I'm trying to make for GrD? Here's the picture I want to use on the front that I took of her ZhuZhu....
I made a cute one for GrS using StWars but I'm stumped on this one. Thought about something along the line "someday your prince will come..." but then I can't get any where else with it.

Fun about you meeting Coachie. I was wondering if your route would take you near her.

Please tell me that it's the kids doing the playdate and not you and Coachie...EEK!

Bad storms tonight especially in town. Check with your family member to see how they made out.

Oh boy...Wait until he meets me...EEK!
I hope you are finally feeling better.....hopefully the storm wasn't too bad for you hug

That is a super cute picture. I can't really help but maybe somehow add this from Cinderella

Your joking right? You know that it only takes a few minutes to do and the only reason I seem so busy is bc I have an inability to sit still. I am like this whenever I don't have work. I have worked full time (sometimes more, 3 jobs and school) since I was 15 and I go CRAZY Crazy & Insane when I am not working! It is seriously one of the hardest things for me to do! You would be helping me by giving me something else to focus my ever running mind on! nod Now pass along the list and I will keep my eye out for a invite for you! Don't make me call Mr Kootz and ask him! I do have your phone number remember! EEK! LMAO
