Thanks for the rice pak info - great idea!

On a more serious note, maybe he's just not quite ready yet. I don't know... some kids it just seems to have to click or something for them.

And maybe he's having an issue with not wanting to pee/poo in his snack bowl. laugh out loud

Well... back to RL / yada yada...
We use the small rice pack on earaches too, works great.

That is what we are thinking he is not quiet ready.

I keep discouraging him from using it that way but I will give him a MP fruit snack and 5 minutes later he will have gone and found his potty and dumped them in. blek!

Scratchchin do you mean the Seinfield yada yada? Evil lol

I am liking it. I'm struggling to find the focus setting that I like the best. I feel like sometimes It's a little slow to focus on a subject, but usually that's a kid running around the house. I'm testing out a new setting this week to see if it works better for me. Maybe I just have too high of expectations for clear pictures of my lightning fast children.
You take amazing pics, gives me some great ideas. You have beautiful subjects. heart

Who wants to bet that the TQ plays nice... a' la TGIF style with this in store deal?
That would be sweet!

I trained my elder one pretty easily.. and he got on pretty fast.. he was potty trained completely before his 2nd b'day.. But with his brother nothing is working out. I am trying to find a way for him, none as of yet

hugtake care I used to do this with bad throat and has helped before. It took it from a blog "Mix 2 tbsp of organic apple cider vinegar in 16 oz warm water with 2 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tbsp honey. Stir well and drink slowly taking it sip by sip.
Have this drink once again after 4-5 hours. Usually after two such drinks, you should be alright. If incase you had a really horrible cold and it is still fighting you, drink this once again after another 4-5 hours.
I knew he would be a lot more work than training my DDs they practically did it on their own. We will just work around his cues keep trying every so often and have lots of patience.

We use the apple cider vinegar drink too. It works very well for us and helps a tun with the congestion. High Five

I'm back. Went the chiro then stopped at the store and bought a dozen cans of Hunt's spaghetti sauce. Then when I was putting that away, I remembered that I want some Hormel Chili with No Beans. Maybe one of these days, I will actually remember that IN the store. Or I could make a list.....
I use my coupons as a list. I am always forgetting things that I don;t have a coupon for. Oh well I will just HAVE to go back to Target, lol.

I used several of those Viva $1.00 off milk coupons and there are Meadow Gold pints of chocolate milk ($1.89) and Gallon size Viva that the coupon is beepless on. I think it was the half gallon Viva that did not match.

Found 4 Garnier peelies so I got 4.

Wow, I got in TY Gator! hug

That is what I was hoping for. But he seems really terrified of toilets. He hates his little potty and won't even just sit on it to read like his older sisters did. We got him a new one and he would rather carry the insert around and eat snacks out of it. It is new but still, it just looks so WRONG on so many levels that he likes to carry that thing around and eat snacks out of it. Ugh! LMAO He is also scared of toilet, DH has perched him on the big potty and held him there for 45 min or so encouraging him to poo but he just clung to him and didn't do it. Not until he had a diaper on. So when he is diaperless he will run to my shower and pee in there. He has done it a few times now. DH thinks we should just encourage him to do that because he won't go near his tiny potty for his business needs and he is to short to pee in the big potty. Dontknow maybe there is a online tutorial for potty training boys, both my girls were done potty training at 2, they just took right to it.
Both of my boys trained at home with me turning them around to sit and face backwards on the potty. It lets them hang onto the lid and they can't possibly fall in. You can throw a few cheerios in the potty too for "point and shoot" practice! laugh out loud I also let them kneel on the seat when they were too short. Standing on the stool didn't work for them because they felt too wobbly. And hang in there! It will probably all come together for him when you least expect it! hug

Somehow I have developed a severe case of hives. I am absolutely miserable. Went to Urgent Care today and the Phys. Assistant says she thinks it is a severe allergic reaction to something. The only thing that I can think of that I have used different is body wash. I used some body wash from Avon that someone at work gave me as an Xmas present...no clue why I would do this when I have an abundance of Olay, Softsoap, etc.
Anyway, this sucks. I am miserable and I just want it to go away.
I have a script for Prednisone and I just took an oatmeal bath. Getting ready to take some Benadryl and pass out. Any other suggestions?

Haven't been to Target in days...usually I go on Friday nights, but I was just too crappy feeling to go. Ugh. Hopefully I will wake up feeling better.

Oh, I feel so bad for you. This past fall I came down with this horrible itchy rash that turned into a giant itchy scab (probably because I couldn't keep my hands off of it.) They were sure it was poison ivy, but there's no way it could have been except we got to thinking, everyone around the neighborhood was burning leaves and maybe the smoke was carrying the itch potion. Anyway, long story short, Prednisone for 10 days and it was much better. Not completely gone, but tolerable.

My DD loved the princess barbie doll set that I got with that princess TQ a few months ago. We had put it in the attic and today when it was time for her birthday gift, we wrapped the dolls and a bucket of trio blocks.. she had the best time Smilie DD made her a cake and frosted it white, and then wrote her name in pink with pink flowers and we had a few disney princess things from the one spot clearance and put them on the cake.. Didn't really notice til the cake was cut, that my DD made the birthday cake with the Christmas clearance funfetti cake mix.. Princess cake with red and green in the middle.. It truly was a slick deals birthday!

Just put my DD to bed cause she was playing for so long.. My and DH were talking about some bills, and my daughter yelled out from her room "be quiet everyone, I am trying to rest' laugh out loud gotta love that kid!

No shopping today.. Hoping to hit T tomorrow !

tracy... benadryl will help.
but for topical relief... do you have any aloe gel at home? if not walgreens carries it, in tubes and bottles. get the clear white gel, not the clear green gel. the white one has no fragrances or dyes.
other stores carry it too.
put the aloe gel on the hives and put the rest of it in the fridge so the gel is chilled for use tomorrow. the chilled gel reduces any swelling/irritation, and moisturizes skin.

also, drink lots of water to flush the offending chemical out of your system. and i mean LOTS.

My dd went and got me some aloe gel last night, but she got the green kind. Ugh.
I need to start drinking more water...never even thought of that.
Took Benadryl...worked for about an hour..and now I am itching like a freakin madwoman again. I would love to know wth caused this so I can stay far, far away. This sucks beyond belief. I just took another Benadryl.

Tracy, that sounds awful. My kids had a severe allergic reaction (hives) to Aveeno body wash. I don't know why but we can't have any Aveeno anything in this house near the kids. We just used Benadryl cream (at the advice of their allergy doctor) until it went away. I believe they were also on a steriod cream to help.

Sorry. Totally sucks.

Where did Bunnies go? Did the commercial send her dormant?

I STILL have this frickin cold and it is on my last nerve. Nothing seems to work. I lost my friggin Afrin and now I can't breathe or taste or smell. Today was DH's birthday and I was either cleaning/packing or laid up on the couch ready to gouge my eyes out.

I hate moving. I hate moving. Comcast can suck a nut. They want over 400.00 to hook up cable/internet/phone at our new house. Are they absolutely INSANE?
