You can load them last so they are plugged in the longest, then unloaded and replugged first. Or, if they need to loaded sooner, plug them into a long drop cord and hook it up high so you can reach it to unplug it. If they are on the end of the truck and you get in late, just string a drop cord out there to the truck... of course, you have to remember to leave on out!
Laundry in dryer!
Hope you are feeling a lot better today.
I am coming down with a cold now.
Hope all of you who are ill get lots of rest and feel much better very soon.
DH's grandmother is more and more childlike each day, my MIL says. She mumbles a lot, but what they can make out isn't really sensible. DH's aunt is having a very hard time. They all are, really, but she's the one that is showing it the most. I don't know who to worry about more - her or everyone who is putting on a stiff upper lip!
I still feel
So just in case, I guess I'd better take a look at whats going on at Target since it's right across the street from Menards. I don't need any Legos. What the heck is going on? Don't they know that Christmas and Christmas clearance is over? We need deals. Good deals. Free deals. Food and stuff.
My 3 y.o. is constantly saying she's hungry and trying to skitch food from the fridge. This morning, she's had a hearty serving of oatmeal with cranberries, 1 1/2 scrambled eggs, 1 whole orange, 1 apple, and a piece of toast. She still says she's hungry.
This seems like a lot of food - am I worrying for nothing, or is this normal for a toddler? It just seems like she's constantly eating.
Yesterday, she had pretty much the same thing by this time, and then by lunch time she had had a granola bar, a 1/2 cup of cheerios with milk, about 1/4 cup of broccoli with cheese, and some frozen blueberries. Then she ate lunch (which I can't remember what it was right now), had an apple and a banana in the afternoon, and would only eat part of her dinner because she said she didn't like it - but complained of being hungry all evening until bed. I think she had something else in there too, but I can't remember.
Is that normal?

Hope you feel better soon! And I know, it is even worse when you are a mommy and can't take time to rest and relax as you would like

(I can't remember how much they are, but I wouldn't think more than $4, are they?)
My T does not carry these so not positive about the price.

I personally wouldn't worry about it.. Seems like she is eating healthy foods.. As long as it isn't junk food, and she still eats her meals, I would let her snack..
I know some people really stress about the whole meal thing. I have a friend who gets alot of hassle from her MIL about her son and his eating.. and I know some people on here have mentioned being much more controlled with meals, etc.. Everyone has their own feelings and parenting ideas.. For me, I have always gone with the philosophy they will eat when they are hungry and I don't stress about it. Some days she doesn't want to eat with us at dinner time, so I don't push it. I just leave her plate there in case she wants it. Some days she does more of the frequent small meal/snack type stuff rather than a full meal. As long as her meals aren't replaced with chips rather than food, which she does beg for, I am okay.. I even give in sometimes and just let her have peanut butter sandwich if she doesn't eat dinner and she is hungry before bedtime..
Is she drinking enough? I know they say many times we confuse hunger with thirst.. I have also found my DD will say she is hungry when she isn't.. Just because she is "bored:", doesn't want to go to bed, or just because it sounds good. If I don't think she really is, I can' usually distract her with something else, and she doesn't mention it again, so I assume she really wasn't. Just a thought!
Thank you.
I had no idea a freezer could go that long and stay frozen not plugged in. When we moved we left our fridge and didn't have a seperate freezer so we didn't even think about that. Now we have a upright freezer and it is pretty stuffed but also pretty unorganized too. If/when we move we are taking it with us, nice to know we can keep it full. I wish it was full of meat, but no, mostly those morning star meatless things that were free a while back, and frozen veggies except corn, we ran out of corn, and TGIF. I have maybe three pounds of hamburger and one bag of frozen chicken tenderloins. We could really use some good meats.
ank` it seems like all my kids do that where they will be super hungry and eat and eat and then they go through stages where they won't eat too. I think it is normal. I have also noticed just when their cheeks and tummys seem to really fill out and they kinda start to look a little chubby they have a growth spurt and get tall and thin again. I hope you start feeling better too, so weird that you have been feeling sick for so long, all those hormones must not be playing nice.
Dreem, good luck with moving everything in, gosh just the thought of moving is exhausting.
l2b, TY, I am trying to get my coupons printed and cut so I can get to the store before noon, well one can hope. It is already 10:15 and so much to do, I haven't even found my Healthy Choice yet, I know I didn't cut them so they are in one of those piles over there -----> lol.
I found some $2 TGIF peelies on the TGIF cheese sticks and saw the new TGIF TQ any one know if the TQ is playing nice like last time?
DS is playing gymnastics on me he is not letting me get anything done, oy! He is a terrible shopper too. Ugh!
GG it does seem like it has been a lot longer than 5 weeks since you got hurt. I know it feels that way to you too especailly after endless nights and days of pain. Just being sick and so stuffy and coughing up a lung I have had three nights where I couldn't sleep and was up constantly hacking, sweating, in pain and sore and I was miserable! I can only imagine the horror you have been going through.
I guess I better spend some time with monkey boy here and then clip, clip, clip and get my behind to T. And do some wash. Since we were all so sick last weekend we decided to have the 2 yr party for monkey boy this Saturday. Hopefully my voice returns to somewhat normal so they are not all scared I will get them sick. I hate that when I get sick my voice goes and all I am left with are squeaks and whispers.
I told DH that we better start trying for DD--I think he threw up a little when I said that, so I guess the idea is tabled for a while.
So now I'm on stage 2, reading the pages in the Target Deal thread to catch up...and trying to find the matching coupons on Target's website.. click, click, click... I wish Target had a search for coupon feature!
