So we got moved and settled and then the snow came. lol I shoveled the entire driveway and sidewalk today. I was so proud of myself. Then the damn neighbor took his truck/snow plow and plowed the road throwing snow right back behind my car again. This time DH went out there and shoveled it. I actually wanted to shovel it this morning. I must have been delusional because now my arms hurt. lol
I seriously need to throw some meat into my crock pot to make some beef stew but I can't find my friggin beef stock. It's somewhere in a box, somewhere in this house, and I'm too irritated with boxes to even begin the search. My kids about drove me nutsobatty today. All this snow and keeping them cooped up, I swear it alters brain chemicals. My son was nice enough to go outside in the backyard and shovel a path to the back corner. Just in case there's an emergency and we have to evacuate to the backyard, I guess. Ah well, he had fun doing it.
I have to get him registered for school but the main registration office is closed because of the weather. Lovely. If he doesn't go to school soon I might have to move into a hotel until he does.

Oh Ariel, I saw your book post earlier and wanted to tell you that I got "Dark Fever" the first book in that series over the weekend. Glad you enjoyed it, it sounds good. I also got the first 4 books of "Vampire Academy". I almost feel like I'm repeating myself, but I don't think I mentioned these yet.
Have you heard of "The Uglies" series? I also got the first 4 books in that series. It's a YA futuristic series and sounded interesting.

I'm sorry Ms. Mavis and DH caught that bug... it's a nasty one. My family has been laid up with it too (and I got it taking care of them; be careful). It's pretty crazy how most of the TCCers have had someone in their household catch this bug, despite the fact that we're spread all across the country. It's vicious!
