Morning Yawn Ank, I am with you on the tiredness today.. Didn't get home from work until 4:30. By the time I changed and relaxed a minute, I went to climb into bed and found out my toddler was stretched out across the entire bed with her daddy. I went back to the couch. Dozed off on the couch around 6 am, and my DH woke me at 8 to tell me he was leaving and DD was awake.. And, I am totally out of cream and so I can't have any coffee EEK! I feel horrible!

Wanted to get so much done today, but don't feel like moving.. Ordered some coupons over the weekend, hope they come soon!
hug Can you drink tea? Or Hot chocolate?? Or borrow cream from a neighbor?

I usually use evaporated milk when I run out of cream... which is what i"m doing today.

Where do you get your q's? I really hate to feed the ebay monster, but most of the sellers I've seen online want ~.15-.25 per coupon and there's no way I can pay that. Frown And ebay is nuts too as far as prices on some of the q's I really want. Frown I may actually go do some dumpster diving today.

well, i wouldn't say it's the ugliest but now isn't the greatest time to go to get the best impression. most of baltimore is pretty ugly/bad neighborhoods except for inner harbor. i think philly has a few more nicer places. just don't watch parking wars or you won't think so.

i don't really think there are any hotels in that area but do not stay near the italian market, i want to say do not stay south of it but not sure . we've gone to cirque du soleil a couple times and first time found on the street parking, rethought that idea b/c the neighborhood was so rough and paid the $20 for their parking.

i've been to the cherry blossom festival a couple times and very impressed w/ fairmount park.

if you've never been, i would go to independence hall and the liberty bell b/c you have to do that once in your life. reading terminal market (there's a famous ice cream place there), cheese steaks from pat's and geno's to compare and see what all the fuss is about.

i'm so glad you are having a good time w/ your bf after all you've been thru.
THanks for the tips... the best hotel prices I found are around the airport... but maybe I should reconsider and stay outside the city?

One thing I realized with this relationship... is this is how a relationship SHOULD be... experiencing life TOGETHER... getting out there and actually LIVING....We have been to 4 movies the past month.. I dont think the ex and I saw 4 movies our entire marriage.. not because we didnt have the money or a babysitter but because he didnt want to do ANYTHING. I have been to many concerts, an NFL game... movies, gone bowling, played pool... tons of DIFFERENT things... road trips.. etc. Life is meant to be lived.. not just sitting home doing nothing EVERY freaking day. We make compromises on what we want to do or where we want to eat... it was always about my ex... where he wanted to eat, what he wanted to do... like my feelings never mattered. The past few months have really been a revelation about this. Like I was along for the ride.. not ON the ride itself. Sorry to ramble but a lot more stuff has become clear to me as I have a great guy by my side.

I think I am gonna brew some hot tea in a minute.. but, it just isn't the same Wink It will have to work this morning to get me through..

I am gonna make my oldest DD watch the toddler around noon time and I am gonna try for a nap. She owes me anyway.. I have spent more money on her the last week or so.. She has prom this Friday and her ticket was 25.00 and she borrowed a dress, but to have it dry cleaned and pressed was another 25.00. Now, she wants a new purse but I am not sure about that.. And, I *may* take her to get her hair done, but we may try to do it ourselves.. Some people just amaze me on what they spend for prom around here.. They will easily spend 100+ on a dress, buy new shoes, purse, etc.. Plus the girls will get nails done, pedicures, hair updos, and limo rides.. And the public school prom tickets are 60-75 each. I would say those parents are easily dropping atleast 400.00 for prom. A lady at church last year came over and did my daughters hair and she couldn't believe we didn't get the hair, makeup, and nails done somewhere.. whatever Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) she had a great time with her dress I got from ebay, borrowed shoes, and hair that we fixed at home laugh out loud

And as far as the coupons.. I usually order on ebay for most of mine. I like to order from lori site, but she doesn't ever have p&g, and her quantities available are so low. When I was trying to get the huggies bogo coupons, I could only get 10 from her and she was out of stock.. I had to order more from ebay.. But, they are definitely slower to ship.. Waiting on huggies and swiffer right now..

I think we plan on replacing the toilet
I've not figured out what I want to do in there. I would *like* to have an actual vanity/coutertop/sink in there (right now we just have a pedestal sink) but I don't think there will be room.
I need to measure my toilet base and see if I can find an old toilet that has a slightly larger base so we can replace it and cut the carpet to fit. I hate new toilets.

Check out Google Sketch-Up. It's a really nice design program and it's free. You can do 3-D room design and even use different kinds of materials. You want tile on that counter top? Put it in there and see if you like it. You can download things that others have built too. Since you are doing a bathroom, instead of just blocking in a 3D cube for a tub and an odd shape for a toilet you can download real looking fixtures.

It's got some little quirks and takes some getting used to but it's very realistic looking. I am forever zooming out wrong and losing my basement! Scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, oops there it is! One other thing I hate is that sometimes I will add something and then want to delete it but when I delete that particular line something else goes -- like the floor. I would suggest doing a blank room -- get the dimensions right, the doors, windows -- anything that won't move. Save that. Then work on designs and save them under other names so you always have your empty room to go back to and start over.

Once you get it all designed you can do an actual walk through. It's a view of how it will look as you literally walk through it. If you download it and want to see some that I have done, let me know, I'll send a couple.

I'm trying to figure out something we can put in our backyard to move stuff out of the garage.
Do you have shelving or cabinets in your garage? Wall cabinets are 12" deep. We just put up a 10' section in my garage shoved clear up to the ceiling. My husband is 6'2" and if I remember correctly, he just barely clears them. The amount of stuff I can put in them is crazy. Rather than build a whole building or buy a storage unit, you can probably put a whole lot of shelves all the way around the garage for a lot less money and have more storage and easier access.

I should go count how many bottles of shampoo I have one 18" wall cabinet (not part of the 10' section). It's a whole lot more than you would think.

You underestimate how much crap we have laugh out loud

We have shelves along each side, but we STILL have boxes and boxes and boxes of crap that my mom can't/won't get rid of. If it wouldn't give her a heart attack to toss it, we would.

I just ordered Qs last night from ebay and I hate doing it, but no one else had the Propel in stock that I could see. I think they were $.15/each with free shipping, which was the best I could find. I hate what some people charge for shipping!

This is a list that has been passed around SD for a while. I had lost it and Rach put it back up for me! I am using it as a good estimate for what I should order for the new little one:
  • Newborn: 2-3 packs
  • Size 1: 600-700
  • Size 2: 630-756
  • Size 3: 1260-1368
  • Size 4: 1085-1178
  • Size 5: 1350
  • Size 6: PRN
  • Wipes: a lot

You should have seen me last weekend when I went treking around looking for Parents mags. Lots of our local grocery stores don't even carry them. They carry Cesar Milan's frickin' Dog Whisperer magazine, but not Parents. (no offense to the Dog Whisperer) I was totally Censored2 when I left those stores.
ME TOO! Theay have all these freakin quilting/flea market/knitting/hunting/Justin Bieber magazines but NO Parents or Parenting? What is wrong with this world?

I had a terrible time finding them around here. I got most all mine from the big city an hour and a half north of here. We just happened to be there when this deal came about so I visited all the likely suspects.
