Prizes & Approximate Retail Value:(1) Grand Prize Winner will win $250,000. Grand Prize Winner will be notified via phone, e-mail or postal mail, at Sponsor's discretion, on or about March 1, 2012. (24) First PlaceWinners will receive $1,000 each. One winner will be selected each month from entries received that month throughout the sweepstakes for a total of 24 winners. Winners will be notified via phone, e-mail or postal mail at Sponsor's discretion, on or about the 7thday of each month. (24) Second PlaceWinners will receive $100. One winner will be selected each month from entries received that month throughout the sweepstakes for a total of 24 winners. Winners will be notified via phone, e-mail or postal mail at Sponsor's discretion, on or about the 7thday of each month. Entries for the monthly sweepstakes drawings will not be rolled over into succeeding months.

The contest featured in this thread is one of a series of Creative Presentations. In order to win the Grand Prize featured($250,000), the sponsor would have to choose that particular Creative Presentation as the winning one. Meaning that if you only played that one and not any of the others and they chose one of the others as the winner, you'd be out of luck. Its a bit confusing because the contest seems to be called different things all over. The entry page of the Marie Claire says You could win Sarah Jessica Parkers look (a 250K look!), but the rules say "Wish Come True".
There is another MC contest that says Win Sarah Jessica Parkers look...but its for like $150 in makeup. Weird
The Wiki has me a bit confused...should I be entering EACH one of those creative presentation sweeps every day for the best chance to win?

Now ask yourself another question--what would happen if say the Magazine ran several dozen creative presentations for cookbooks. The cookbooks are really several page ads for the magainze. What happens when they pick to award that as the prize, instead of the big cash sum? Is that ok to you?
Many many reasons why creative presentations can be borderline scams...your choice if its worth the effort to enter or not.
