Don't get too sad...did I tell you that my IRL friend is getting married at Warm Beach? I am thinking that I will at least come out...not sure if the whole family will or not, but she is the guardian to our two little angels, so it might be good to meet her DH! He is from Jamaica and they met when she was on a year long mission there many years ago. She helped him through college and now they have fallen in love! They are waiting for the fiance visa and then they have 3 months to actually get married, so we are not sure when the wedding will be, but I am pretty sure I am coming out! So, if you are not up from a visit by me, you better watch out what you wish for!



I set my cell phone alarm clock for about 15 minutes after her cerfew. She has to wake me up when she gets home if I am asleep, so then I turn off the alarm...I was awake last night, so no big deal...I thought DH was asleep as well last night, but he was talking to her on his phone upstairs. Her ride home had a flat tire last week (which I knew about) and she still had the doughnut tire on, so they were taking it slow and didn't take the interstate home, so it was taking them longer to get home then they thought...so the story goes! DH said he was fine with not grouding her this time...I still want to throw the book at her so it doesn't happen again and she plans ahead more. I have been more into logic than emotion lately with my kids...DH calls it being a B...whatever!

Holy poop! I haven't been on SD in so long that I didn't know we got moved to the Lounge, lol! When did that happen?!

And um PS. I posted my first ever actual freebie/deal and have gotten so much praise. I could not be more pumped right now!

I don't know that much about it, but I think if she has a job and they get married...I think he becomes her dependant. I think they figure that she can take care of him now. but it probablyalso depends on how much money she makes and I don't know what the amount is

I have a sinking feeling that the Walmart "cash back" part of their new Q policy will be over before the weekend is. I've been reading in the WM thread about Mommy Blogs stating they got back $120 from shopping : facepalm2:

Happy Saturday night! Sitting here waiting for my DD to get home from her "boyfriend's" house. She has to be home by 11:30, so we will see if she makes it on time! A little grounding might have to happen

Started the day by just noticing that my coffee pot was gone...DH said that it was gross and he couldn't get it "clean", so he threw it away. It was just "seasoned"! So, I was a bad SD person and just went out and bought a $30 one with no coupons. What joy I will have tomorrow when the coffee is done when I get up! I have never had a "delayed" coffee pot. Let's see if it works! It could become addicting I think!

So yesterday we started the long journey of looking for a house! Our house that we are renting has become to small and it will cost a fortune to finish the basement because the house is old and the plumbing and electrical will need to be redone. Also, our house is in a really expensive neighborhood so we can get a MUCH bigger house if we let go of living in the area. We found a really great neighborhood directly behind my DH's office that we could get a house 3 times the size of our house for the same money and my husband could walk to work and come home for lunch. It would mean a little more driving or me to go to our usually places but only like 10 minutes. We found one house that is directly across from a park but it needs basic updating to the cabinets and the owner loves tacky wallpaper! We got a agent last night so we will start looking seriously next week when we see how much my dh's bonus turns out to be. Hopefully the right house will "speak" to us and it won't be that hard.

I am about to go out to dinner with my daddy and little bro and maybe my sister if she is awake(night shifts as a nurse!) I'm not hungry but I'm sure my dad would appreciate some time with all his kids!

So I decided on what book to read next. I don't know much about it, but I am going to try Water for Elephants [amazon.com]. I know many ppl that are or have recently read this, so I thought I would give it a try.

We are renting in Congress Park but now we are looking in Centennial because that is were my DH works. They just built a new complex at University and Arapahoe and my husbands offices are in there. It is really nice with lots of restaurants, 24 hour fitness, RiteAid, Wags and and ice skating rink. We are looking in the neighborhood behind it called Southglenn but we are just getting started. The agents are definitely hungry for sales because they are all emailing back immediately to any requests.

Went to T tonight and had to make the most of it since I don't get to go very often. Used my huggies q's, some T q's (not nearly as many as I wanted, but gave it a good try), and some of my free q's I've been holding on to for a while. A few of my q's did not come off like they should have (I think she forgot to scan one, and a few did weird things, like the $5 denim q). I was disappointed as I walked out, and was wondering what I could return. But then I realized that on my 6 free q's, she took off the max q amount, which was more than the cost. So I'm just going to chalk this up to a good effort and it will all balance out in the long run. Plus I walked out for less than $7, so even though it wasn't perfect, I'm still happy with the effort. Now I really want to find some swiffer q's so I can get some paper towels. Thanks for all the help on this Ariel, and everyone else who gave me tips.
