So I talked to my regular dr today and he reassured me about my concerns regarding waiting so late for the C section. He says the hospital is prepared for things like that (going into labor when you are in fact a scheduled C Section). I asked that the anesthesiologist would be able to be there within an hour, and he said "Oh, no WAY faster than that, we're taking 15-30 mins tops!" so that made me feel MUCH better. I asked also asked if he was comfortable waiting until the 27th and he said completely, so I feel much better about it all now!

I'm so glad you talked to him and feel better. Now back to the diaper stockpiling...

BTW...While we were at the Tanger Outlet, we went into all the Baby stores like Carters and even a TRU outlet, not a baby mag to be found anywhere. But at least we tried! LOL

Will you move us back if we promise to keep the wiki tidied up? We are the only operating Shutterfly thread and we always ALWAYS help people who post to ask what the current deals are - we are guilty of not keeping the coupons updated in the wiki, but we do share them when someone asks. A lot of times lately they are one time use codes and we even share those w/people who ask....please please please move us back?

I haven't shopped at a Walmart since the new Coupon Policy came out, but from reading in the Walmart thread, I'd say yes.

Question for those familiar with Babies R Us and their baby registry. . . can you buy something ELSEWHERE and then update the registry online or must it be bought at a BRUs? I think the breast pump the Nephew's wife has listed would be much cheaper at a Target. Over $300 with all the pieces at BRUs.

as far as any registry i have dealt with, i just call the CS # and tell them that for some reason I bought it last week, but the registry isnt updated, and CS will change it. I just neglect to tell them I bought it from amazon and not them

Ohhh so I have some drama info regarding my C section scheduling that I forgot to post about on Friday. So you all know I am seeing 2 OB's. One I have seen for the entire pregnancy and he is now the dr for my whole family and another who is for higher risk pts and who will do my C Section. Well on Friday I went to see my reg OB and he was like, so I guessed you settled on a date for the C section (he knows me and knew I wanted to know asap). I was confused and said, well no, the other dr said his schedule wasn't out yet so I will schedule it when I see him on March 24. Well my reg OB said, "hmm, well I have the date right here, they asked me to assist (which I really wanted him to be there, so I am happy about that). The date they have scheduled you is on April 27th." My reaction was this and "oh" bc I have been expecting to go in on April 21st or so. My reg on asked if I was ok with the date and I said, "Sure, I guess so" and then we moved on to other stuff.
Well when I talked to J about it, he freaked. He is worried about me going into labor doing it that late (I am due 4/28) and said the whole point to scheduling it was to avoid an emergency C section. I hadn't thought of that, but the more I think of it, the more it sounds right. I mean, we were told I couldn't try Vbac at the hospital I am delivering at bc there is not a anesthesiologist on site 24 hours a day, so if something went wrong and they needed to do an emergency C section, there wouldn't be anyone in house to put me out.
So then today the other dr's office calls and tells me the time and date of the C section and wants me to schedule a pre op appt. I told her I already have one for the 24th. She said that won't work now, she changed it to just a reg appt, bc it is now more than 30 days from the C section (state law). I told her I was driving (true story) and would call back when I could. I haven't called back yet bc I have these concerns now. First off, I have a reg guy, I don't want to see the high risk guy on the 24th of this month, just bc, he costs me $$ and I am not trying to sound cheap, but if I don't have a reason to see him, then I don't wanna. Also, I think I want to ask if there is an anesthesiologist on call for the hospital I am delivering at before I agree to such a late date. Sophia has an appt with my reg dr tomorrow am, so I plan to just ask really quick while I am in there.
Anyways, I posted all this bc I wanted to hear opinions from others. I mean, if I went into labor, and there is a person on call (not nec in house, but available) then I think I would be ok with the later date, but if not, it seems like a risky thing to me. Am I over reacting?

So...I tripped today. The snow shovel fell in front of the doorway and I fell hard on my knee. The knee never swelled and I don't even have any tender spots on my knee but when I move in certain ways it kills up my thigh and down my calf muscles. Katie had to help me get my sack and shoe off. She thoguht it was hilarious of course. not that I fell but that she had to help me. How can I be so clumsy? We need to leave about 6 in the morning to go to the prison for a parole hearing for the guy we visit. I have a feeling I am going to wake up and not be able to move! Please pray that all will be well. Will be doing some furniture shopping too. No real shopping though. I think if we went to WM I would take the little cart though.

I read on Facebook that PhotoWorks is shutting down, effective May 2011. But if you transfer your pics over to Shutterfly, they'll give you $30 to use at Shutterfly. I transferred my photos this afternoon; you basically follow a link, click transfer, and it's done automatically. Soon after I got an email with my Shutterfly credit. It's a unique code for a $30 credit towards a purchase of $30 or more, excluding shipping/handling/taxes. You have until 11:59pm EST on May 2, 2011 to get the credit. After that, apparently your pics get deleted.

Sounds like a great theme! Ideas: Glass bowl full of corks with candles in the center...wine bottle lights as accents...this could be fun!

as far as the corks. You can hot glue a bunch of corks togeather to make a "trivet" you could use them to set what ever centerpieces on. you can make your own wine glass charms too!

You know what...He is a great man and so very good to me. It took many years (some hard to forget) to get where we are today. Takes lots and lots of work and sometimes I don't appreciate what he does and will do for me.

I think the wine charm is a great start. You can probably make something like that pretty cheap by buying the stuff at Joanns or Michaels. They must have some kind of wine charm thingy.

I always get the Michaels 40% off coupons and will be happy to send them along or if you find something there you need I can help by buying them here and shipping to you. Those things are tiny and won't cost much to ship.

Use the charm idea and get some ribbons made with your name and wedding date on them and attach...
