Just dropping in to say HI.. I went to disneyland today took my little nephew and I am tired!

For real...my hubster will come home and ask what i did today....looks around at the stacks of mags and pieces of bright lime coupons scattered through the whole house...the kiddo and i are both disheveled..."duh, winning!"

Ok guys, I wanted to ask the photographers in here (well we all are, so I guess all count ) when I should do a maternity shoot. I am sure you all have seen my on FB, so do you think its a good time now? J and I are going to do this ourselves (kinda scared bc I have never done this) so I am open to all ideas. TIA

are you looking for pic ideas (which I have some)or somthing else like lighting or shooting techniques (which I have none)

Sometimes this can get you in trouble. I got an email from amazon saying that one of the people I sent stuff to had called to find out where it had come from. I all like... oh holy crap, don't farking call EVER if free stuff ends up on your doorstep. I quickly called her and told her it was the diaper fairy and to keep her trap shut about it.



Yeah, yeah, yeah... I'm soooooooooooo scared of the pregnant lady. Your lip glosses are no good here. If I had know Rachel didn't get a ton of diapers I would have hooked her up as well. I'm taking the kids to Orlando on Thursday to meet a friend and her kids at the science center. I was just mapping out where the BCF stores are along the way. I might have to make sure we have plenty of pee breaks on the trip.

I feel so bad that I haven't sent out thank you cards yet for all of the wonderful surprises I received. I really liked the idea of waiting until the babe is here and sending TY's and announcements at the same time, but I don't want anyone to feel bad that I haven't formally thanked them yet. Do you think that's okay, even if it means waiting until summer time? Please be honest so I can move on (either with writing thank you's or waiting) because this has been one of the MANY things I think about when this ninja baby kicks me awake at night.

I had someone do that to me with the 1800 deal last January. Pam and I sent him one of those boxes of salami and signed the card with a silly note (very erotic) and he called 1800 to find out who to thank but we used fake phone numbers so they sent an email to one of the deal email addys i use saying they were trying to get in touch with me and why. They sent like 3 emails before I happened to see one of them a few months later while clearing out that email account. I called him right away to tell him it was me and pam. I felt soooo bad because he wanted to believe he had a girl that was secretly hot for him and wanted to do a bunch of dirty things to him Poor guy.

I'm a bit of a listener myself, so people tell me stuff I don't want to know. I guess that is a talent to have, but I'd rather be able to talk women into sleeping with me. That is the talent all me want.

Everything is ok with the babe but she needed a swallow study - if we don't thicken her liquids, she chokes and they wanted to make sure she doesn't aspirate (she doesn't) but the liquid would back up and penetrate the epiglottis (sp?) so we keep thickening and re-test later I guess? It was confusing b/c the lady said they saw what they didn't want to see but said everything looked fine also?? I'll wait to hear from the Pedi and ask her. Thanks for asking ((hugs))

So, had a great day yesturday. DS and GF came and we packed up the stuff to go to goodwill which DH has been itching to get out of here. Had appointments at noon for all of us to get our hair done at the city beauty school. On the way we stopped at a bridal shop and in 10-15 minutes time bought GF a wedding dress!! It is very pretty and on the sale rack for $99. We only had the 15 minutes because we had to get to our appointments. She was going to wear her prom dress because she didn't have anything else. Now she does. Made me cry. Then flew to the city to get our hair done. Took all afternoon. DS looks SOOOOO much better and she looks great too. Mine is ok but nothing special. Then flew out of there to get to the second hand bridal store. Got there and it was closed for good. Not there anymore. so looked at a party store next to it quickly so we could get to T before 6 to pick up the invitations Kootz made for me. Di I say how great they are? Thanks sooo hmuch. You are a life saver!! Went to T and no pics under the name I had given on the account. Think Chris think. The guy said they didn't have any internet orders come through yesturday. Then he was looking under different names and looked in a pack after I described them and he said these would be them under Chris Chris. lol Did Target and I forgot some things but oh well. Was hurrying since we still hadn't eaten except a snack since morning. Off to HuHot to eat. Then party store for table cloths. goodwill to bring our stuff away. JCP for a bra for GF nothing. mall closes in 15 minutes. said to look at VS. nothing, they don't carry that large, check Lane bryant. Found one there as they closed. off to walk back to the car . Off to Kohls. Got DS a shirt and tie and jeans for the wedding. Already has a suitcoat. Off to WM. Did well at WM although they got harassed for the legit coupons I gave them but I had the coupon policy. Finally, they were ok after splitting the gain (overage but says only 4 per shopping trip) Then he came over and never questioned mine. GRRR do you think they were judging them for piercings. oh well, he may have just been in a big hurry by then. Found whiter round table cloths there but not enough so off to the other WM to check. none there either. ran through McDs and then home. now I have to get out of here to meet Doone to run to a smaller town to WM DG and family dollar. Work tonight. Might not be back til midnight yes, i am crazy!!!

Stupy me got so wrapped up in the Rach diaper fun that I forgot to tell you guys what I found out yesterday! I looked up on the Happy Baby site to see if any of my stores carried it, and it said Publix. Went to Publix to get my poor kids some fresh fruit and veggies (after eating the pizza, breadsticks and other crap for dinner the night before, I felt guilty and wanted to get them some healthy snacks, too!) but Publix didn't carry it.

Then I headed to Target to see how much those crib canopy nets were, since Butters won't stay in a bed and keeps climbing out of his crib. They didn't sell them there, BUT while I was in the baby section I did find a whole array of Happy Baby food! I had my q's with me, so I grabbed 10 of the puffs and cereals (they were around $3 each) and since the q was worded one per item, I was given absolutely no problems at all using the q's- and this is the horrible q hating T that I never go to! So I scored Maddie some treats, and they don't expire until the end of 2012! They also had baby food there, but I didn't want to push my luck at that T and use too many q's. I think the baby food was around 90 cents or something. So if anyone is looking for a great baby gift, any new mom would love a bunch of baby food and treats! The q's expire on the 31st, so you have to get there in the next few days.

And has anyone used those crib tents to keep the baby inside the crib? When I called dh and talked to him about it, he said that we maybe need to just bite the bullet and force baby to stay in his bed, that the crib tent looks like we're keeping an animal in a cage. but doesn't J act like a monkey?

I have a question for those that design some of their photo projects at home, I got announcements for Jennifer's graduation and I know have to make an adjustment to the date as it has changed, I want to use business card paper to just do the date and time on what programs do you use to do something like that?? I have Adobe but am drawing a blank on getting the right sizing

When Publix had sale on Johnson's and Johnson's baby wash for 59¢, I bought over 24 bottles (haven't counted, but I know I have at least that number), but never more than 6 at any one store. My Nephew's wife who is pregnant is and wonders where she will put it all. Bottom of a closet, underneath a bed, etc. I figure it's gonna get used, eventually, right? Publix also had an oops in a flyer, in that the 320 ct baby wipe refills were marked 3/$5. I bought 6, and I now have 2 rain checks, for a total of 12. I don't know if Publix baby wipes are that spectacular or not, but I figured they could wipe down the car if nothing else.

I haven't bought any diapers for them yet... hesitant as to what size the baby will be (remember the Daddy was huge when he was born).

I'm happy to have found SD and folks that really get buying lots when on sale and with Qs instead of just what you need and then having to pay :gulp: full price :gulp: later.

Not sure if you want to waste your time at least at the ones on...East Colonial and West Colonial Dr. Went to both yesterday and they had April...
