Well, maybe a little nut! Hope you're dinner was good and that your enjoying your trip! Thought about you last night at the concert. As usual, Kenny put on a great show...Billy Currington was great and LOVED Uncle Kracker. It is funny to hear an 8-yr-old little girl singing "God is great, beer is good and people are crazy!" She enjoyed the concert so much. We didn't get home til close to 1 a.m. He just kept singing! (Oh darn) Towards the end of the concert, one of the girls in the sandbar area gave Kenny a bra. Alli just cracked up...and said, "Now why would you give a bra to a boy?" I did not enlighten her on the why! Wink Then someone threw a little baby onesie on stage that said "Kenny C is NOT my daddy"...she thought that was funny, too.

Well I thought I would give you all an update my weekend so far. Started out with J and I getting some along time out. We went to 5 guys for dinner (not very intimate, but it was what I was craving Embarrassment) and then onto poker night at my BFF's house. I stayed until 12:30 and then ended up leaving J there to stay the night. His Bday is today, so they were all Cheers heavily and having a jolly good time! I was tired and they have a dog, so I needed to go early, but it was nice to act 'young' again. I was sad that I had to sleep alone that night, but glad that he got to enjoy his time!

Saturday the girls and I got up early for GS. I texted J to see if he needed a ride home then and he said sure, but to bring his camera and he would just come along with us to the garage sales. That was a nice change. I didn't end up finding a lot at the GS themselves, but I dod go to a further away craft store and bought more yarn and a parasol (photo prop) so it was a good morning! Big Grin I have now made 2 of the 3 (at least) elf hats I plan to make. I am almost done with the last! laugh out loud

We went out to dinner last night. Just to a nice little Chinese place close to our house. It was sooooo yummy! The whole family went (Shawn too) so that was nice. I had coconut walnut prawns and they were soo good! Then I got a cute (and appropriate) fortune at the end (posted on FB) that put a huge smile on my face!

Today I wasn't planning on doing much, but when I got up and checked CL there were tons of GS listed, so the girls and I went off to see what we could find! What a good day for us. We got lots of clothes (for lily, sophia, alexa, and I), NIB curtains for 3 windows, photo props, and shoes for $20. It was a lot of fun and there were some great deals! The last place I stopped at had baby gap and old navy clothes and shoes for only $0.25 each. I filled 2 bags full! laugh out loud

J took the girls on a walk right now, as I am 'relaxing.' The GS are starting to get harder on me, but they are too much fun to stop! laugh out loud He took his new camera with him and its sunny and clear here, so I hope he gets so good practice in! Big Grin

Tonight we are going to dinner with my BFF and her man to celebrate J's Bday. We are going for Indian food and I am sooo looking forward to it! Licklips

Great weather again for us...loving spring! We went to my grandparents to help my sister's family pick up sticks and clean up their yard from the winter. My grandpa isn't doing well, so that is hard to see. My sister had one of her puppies and we took our dog and they played and played! DS took his fishing pole and dropped a line with no bites, but he said he could stay there for 30 years even without a bite. It is great to have the kids out in the country...that is the life! No tv playing or video games, just playing outside. I would love to buy the farm from them, but it is over an hour away and I can't imagine driving that far each day...until I see how simple life is for the kids.

I'm sorry your grandpa isn't doing well. That is hard to handle. And, you are right the country life is a great one. All kids need a little dose of it!

I dunno....we live in the country and I still feel like the kids aren't outside as much as we were. They spent the evening out on the swings and sandbox and shooting the BB gun (and digging a hole in the ground Facepalm) but still - I can remember never coming inside unless we were eating or peeing. laugh out loud
