Went to the Dr today. Up 1 more pound, so thats good (I worry with all the choco I eat, that I will suddenly gain a ton! ). Had some labs drawn, need to know how my iron level is. If its low, they want to do IV iron. I was talking to my main dr about it today, he said most insurances don't cover it bc its a "vitamin" and so I may have to pay OOP for the actual Iron. He said his one patient that had to do that was paying a couple hundred a time just for the med. I sure hope I don't have to pay that much! I mean of course I will do whatever I have to do for Lily, but that is $$$! So now I wait to find out!

We are having a GS tomorrow. I REALLY wanted to have one before the baby comes, so I am glad to be doing it. The guys are doing a lot of the work, so thats good.

Well I need to be more active on here. So here is my update. House is still for sale. We put my moms extra queen bed over there. I'm not sure if it is helping though. We had a couple looking at it, but they changed their mind. Our kitchen redo is coming along, but very slowly. I'm not the most patient person so this is killing me. Hopefully someday I will have a kitchen. I've been pretty busy taking pictures lately. Yesterday I took some of 2 little boys (3 and5). Their mom was in a very bad car accident in February and is going back from the hospital to a nursing home 2 hrs away. A girl who knows her, but isn't close, decided to get the boys pictures done and put them on a digital frame. So I took some posed ones and just some of them playing for her. I can't even imagine being away from my kids that long.

I posted a share link on FB of the wedding pics. I didn't realize that you couldn't see the album I had posted since you aren't friends with Katie and it was her album. I have her settings very private so I guess even though I posted it to mine, you couldn't see it. They are all on there so sorry there are so many. I just needed to get them uploaded so I could order prints the other day.

So I really like Sprint's service, and I really like my phone, but we are having issues. My on button isn't as responsive as it needs to be and Kate's touchscreen isn't responsive either. I'm going to save yall the long story and just say that I'm pissed at Sprint.

Ariel, Sorry you need that extra iron. Sometimes during my bloodwork my iron is low and I have to take extra and I do it until the next blood work and then I stop because I hate it! Then I get yelled at and take it again and the cycle continues. I can't believe Lily is going to be here so soon! Time just fly's!

Chris, I looked at the pictures (all 400 something of them !) and I cried lol Your son looks so young and I kept imagining how hard it must have been for you to watch your little boy get married. I don't know if you've ever heard this song before but the whole time I was looking at your pictures it was playing in my head. Rach, I know you are looking for input as far as fb. Like the rest of you guys I have been crabby/cranky/sad/weepy. The 6th was a year since the thing with John. We still have court hanging over our heads. My sister is on a waiting list for her umteenth rehab stay which is just a reminder that addicts are never cured So I'm trying not to talk to much because when I feel like this it doesn't take much for me to loose control of my tongue! So far though, I agree with what you guys have suggested as far as rules go.

Thinking of all of you and sending up prayers for the strength to get through. I had to visit the principal's office. I couldn't believe how nervous I was! No one was in trouble, I just went in to advocate for ds(wanting him in higher level classes). I hate confrontation and find advocating for my kids to be one of the biggest challenges of being a parent--one of the most important as well though! I think it went well...

Thanks! It was short notice to try to do things. The guy is my DXH, PHilip's dad. Their neighbor made the cake. I never hear anything that her parents recognized the day. She did have some of the relatives from her dad's side there. That made me feel good.

I have a question for everyone, I'm getting ready to post on FB about my abuse, which is a bit scary and that is part of the reason I need to do this. Another part, is that there are still a couple of family members that invite the child molestor to parties where there are kids, like graduation parties, Christmas parties, birthday parties....is it me, or is it just wrong to invite a child molestor to these events? One, would you be upset if you went to a party, with your child, and a child molestor was there....AND if you knew that a child molestor was going to be there, would you go and bring your child?

It just boggles my mind that anyone would want to put their child, or any child that they care enough about to invite to a party, at risk.

Anyway, once I post on FB the cat is out of the bag with all my friends and family and I just wanna test the waters here, where its not so public, but really is since I'm FB friends with lots of you.

I wrote back on pm on FB, but wanted to respond here, too.
I am here for you, and am very proud of you. If what you do saves even one child from being molested, then you have changed that child child's life forever. Once an abuser, always an abuser, especially if this ahole doesn't admit to what he did or get counseling.

As for the idiots who actually allow their children to be around a sex abuser, they disgust me! I would DIE to protect my child from harm, and they are putting their child right into the path of it! And if I ever found out that someone knowing placed my children around a sexual predator, I would be livid. I would probably wind up in jail.

It took me 3 decades to break away from my abusive mother, and I only did so when she abused my child, so I understand the whole shroud of secrecy and keeping "family business" private. It's BS, and this should NOT be kept private. If you decide to post on FB, I will defend and argue for you until i'm blue in the face. This is about protecting children.

Love you so much for being so brave. If it were up to me, I'd corner this dbag and cut his pecker off with my nail scissors.

Thanks! I just think it needs to be totally out in the open...I've talked to lots of family members vie phone and email, and everyone is sooo supportive, which I appreciate and love, but then he still gets invites to parties with kids. Its not a dirty little secret and I hope that with my posting on FB, people will realize that they need to deal with this too....and if that doesn't happen, well, at least I can say that I tried my very very best.

I talked with a lawyer, and sadly the statute of limiations has expired and there is no legal recourse for me. My one cousin can still sue him, but I do not think she is at that point yet....I just hope that when she is ready, legally, something can be done.

I found a group that is lobbying to change the laws to eliminate the statute of limitations and I'm going to look into them and see what they are all about and if its a good honest group, I'm going to support it. They also want a federal sexual abuse law, right now each state has its own law, so what might be abuse in one state, maybe in another state its not, or the penalty is not as severe as another state....so that also makes sense to me.

First I want to give you a BIG and tell you that I am proud of you... I hope that one day my girls (they were molested) will one day reach this stage were they feel they can say it to everyone else. I am sorry that these members of your family still invite this person even knowing what happened, it is sad because I think that people think it won't happen to them, that their kids will be ok, so they ignore the facts and follow what they want because they are to afraid to admit that these things happen. I have a few members of my family that still ignore the facts. (my exh lost parental rights and hasn't had contact with them, but on Jen's 18th birthday he tried to get in touch and I dred Nicole turning 18 in July) You are such a strong woman and I can only hope that my girls will beable to be the same as they struggle with differents things as they get older.

I'm kind of new around these parts so I don't know your whole story, but I think you a very strong person and absolutely doing the right thing. If any of my family members knowingly invited a child abuser to a family function I would be furious.

If I knew a molestor was anywhere near my 2 grkids, I would completely and totally come unglued. Someone might get hurt. : mad:
