DS went running into the bathroom and wiped out...I'm debating if his big toe is broken. Got some ice on it. He isn't crying, he just says it hurts. Do they do anything for broken toes nowadays? We just toughed it out when we were kids!

I am a bad mom...I had to remind him that he wouldn't have fell if he would have dried off better and cleaned up the floor, we wouldn't have had this problem.

He just went up to bed with his ice pack...so I guess we will see in the morning how swollen it is!

When I broke my toe last year they just had me tape 2 together. Nothing much else to do nowadays

Likely they would just tape it together. That is my guess. If insurance will pick it up you could always have it checked to be sure it heals correctly.

I was thinking the same thing. Might just use chocolate chips and make them like PB cups if I ever get around to making them.

It does! I am sooo excited. I feel almost human again. I got a handme down Samsung Delve, It is soso, but now that I have the taste of freedom, I am definitely checking out some droids. I will just have to wait for a deal.

Off to Bible study, then shower for DIL with my Bible study ladies, then to the nursing home to do a birthday/anniversary party for them and then to church to set up powerpoint. Busy day! Have fun without me Big Grin

davewex--- You are such a strong woman. I just saw your post on FB and requested you to be a friend. In the past couple months I have been building up my courage to openly talk about what happened to me as a child. I was molested only on one occasion. After the incident (like minutes after) I spoke up and told the adults that I should have trusted. They did nothing. All I heard was excuses that even as a child, I knew they were full of BS. They said he thought I was his wife and that he was tired and was unaware of what he was doing but then it turned into his denial. Only my mom and her sister knew what happened and they did nothing. They told me not to tell anyone and I listened. It took me over 10 years of seeing him at family functions to finally build up the courage to tell someone else. I told my sister and she fought for me. She immediately kicked that man out of her house from her birthday party and I have not seen him again. She confronted my mother about what happened and my mom thinks she did what was best for me. She has since apologized for her choice and I "accepted" her apology but I don't think I really have.
