I'm going to be a grumpy person today! Not much sleep for me last night. We were all asleep and our dog started barking just before 11. I went downstairs to see what was going on as he never barks...didn't see anything. Then he barks again and I hear DD moving around in her room, so I go and ask her what is going on. She says that her "ex" is outside as she had wore one of his sweatshirts home one night and he was here to pick it up she guessed. So, I got dressed and took the sweatshirt out. I think I surprised him when it was me and not her. He started saying he was sorry etc. I said that he was done messing around with Sydney and that if he did anything or even talked to her any more he would have to deal with me and that would not be a good idea since he has now woke up our whole house. I will have to figure out who brought him as there was another person with him, but I didn't even look at him to see if he was an adult or a child. I did tell them to drive safe since they live 1/2 hour away...but needless to say, I didn't sleep well after that.

I was proud that she went in and deleted him and all of his friends from facebook. I hope that they don't text or call her now. Hopefully a good learning experience for us all.

Hi Stranger...Things are the same here. The furbabes are actually doing very well with the meds so we continue to love them lots and lots and keep up the med schedule (which is trying) but definately worth it.

Mom is about the same. She has been eating a bit more than she has been but still not much. They finally were able to weigh her and she lost quite a bit in one month. She went from 145 to 132

But the most important thing is she seems to be pain free. The other day I finally was able to feed her a little food and I brought banana cream pudding.I asked her if it was good and she mumbled and gave me a little smile

pierogi's?! never tried. LOL come teach me... my mom is all italian so i know how to do all that ish... my dad's side isn't very close (the polish part, bc his mother was all italian too), so the polish stuff only happens only once in a blue moon. You can step in ANYTIME though!!

So last night I worked on Thank You cards more I did almost all of them now, I just have a few more to go and they are all from my in person baby shower. I still have to address a whole bunch of envies for announcements, but I am planning to work on that today. I hope you all are able to read my writing when you get your cards. As some of you know, I have pretty bad penmanship which is why I spaced these cards out, bc the longer I write for, the worse it gets. Anyways, if you get your card and can't read it, please don't be shy and write me on here and I will interpret it for you!

Last night I also re-packed my hospital bags. My dr wants me to bring my own medicine bottles and he said he will write an order for "may use own meds." He was doing this bc some of the meds I take won't be on the formulary at the hospital, so they won't have them. I like this bc I think it will save me some money Who knows though, they may figure out a way to still charge me for it all! So anyways, the meds are now all packed. I need to go get some Prevacid bc the bottles I have all 'expired' in March of this year, but I have been known to use meds well after the exp date. I know the hospital won't like that. Fortunately I have a MQ and TQ I plan to use today on the small bottle.

This morning I did the girls awards. I think they came out pretty cute. When I opened them, I saw that on the back there was a small envelop attached and it has a small blank note card in it. On each note card I wrote:
To: (girls name) From: Lily I am so glad to finally be able to meet you!
Anyways I will attach a pic of the awards so you all can see what I was talking about.

Ok so I don't think I updated you guys about my dad. He called us yesterday and gave us some more info. The dr says his prostate ca is a "6" which means it is a "medium growing" kind. My dad is electing to do the surgery sooner rather than later, so hopefully he will be scheduling that for right when Junie gets home in mid May. He will have to take 4-6 weeks off from work. Also we found out that it has not spread to his bones, which was not something I was aware that we worried about (they have been keeping things from me ), but that is very good!

The awards are cute! I'm sure they will love them. Glad you got everything accomplished this weekend and that you got your bp down and didn't have to have Lily on Friday!
