Anti-climactic, but that's to be expected based on where they're splitting the story up. Thought the final scene was clumsily shot. I'm interested in how they resolve some of the future plot points when they haven't adequately developed certain characters (can't be more specific without spoiling).

Agreed! It was a little anticlimatic but did show a lot of development going forth into the next season but I really wanted someone else to die a miserable death to make up for the Red Wedding.

Synopsis (without spoiling):
A Greyjoy posses up.
Bran and company get closer to their destiny.
Dany embraces her presumed destiny.
Walder Frey is an ass and I hope he chokes (yeah, no shit).
Tyrion gets into a stare down with Joffrey.
Tyrion gets into a stare down with Tywin.
Tyrion raps a spell with Sansa.
Tyrion is a busy man. Ok
Arya don't take no mess. No1
And as always, poor poor Theon. Facepalm

HBO's trademark as of late is to make the second to last show of the season the big event that keeps people talking. So that was no surprise but based on the leeches that Melisandre threw into the fire I surely expected at least one more king to kick the bucket. Ah well....next season I suppose.

Based on the foreshadowing story that Brandon Stark told about violating Guest right it sounds like Walder Frey may have a heck of an afterlife. laugh out loud

There was something about last week's episode that bothered me but I couldn't quite put my finger on it until today. If Jon Snow was aware that the direwolves were helping him in his fight against the wildlings, which the show made it seem like he couldn't miss, then why didn't he investigate the tower at some later point?

He (Sam) had collected more obsidian than just that one piece he left behind. He gave all of them pieces of pointy obsidian. They found a whole chest full of them in Season 2 I do believe, buried in the ice.

laugh out loud I think Bran was actually more interesting in the books because of the wolf thing. They just do the stupid raven/Three Eyed Crow crap in the show, and it's not nearly as interesting (in my opinion).
