Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

We also served box lunches from the kitchen next door. They make the BEST food. It's all Glatt Kosher and the set up is unreal. They even have a flash freeze machine because they send food to 6 other senior centers in the city as well as to home-bound seniors.
But I'll tell you, at 1 PM, when we closed it all out, I crashed. The adreniline had been pumping for three days while we pulled all the final details together, and then WHAM, it was over and we were all exhausted. I left, as usual, at 3 PM, and everyone was kind of sitting around, congratulating each other, but not having the energy to move.
My "boss" was so thrilled at how well it all went, she's already thinking about next year's health fair. All I'm thinking about is bed.
Well Tree, I hope your party here helped cheer you up a bit. Unfortunately, it is 1:30am here and I got to get to bed, hungry at this point of all the good food talk. Will have to look for a polish restaurant downtown as there are a bunch of ethnic places down there and pick some stuff up. Thanks for sharing my grandma's stories, I love her dearly and never tire of talking about her. Hang in there you will get through.

Sounds like you're on your way then. My mom started with a bunch of old photos and letters and it took off from there.
The vet does not think his itching problems are from allergies. Treatment for fleas (a new one called Revolution from the vet), antibiotics and medicated baths have helped a lot. He had a yeast infection on his skin. He is still itching more than I'd like, so it may take another round of antibiotics, as they don't like to do that too much all at once. It is much better than it was though.
I changed his name from Wilson to Zeek, because Wilson was his homeless name, and he never responded to it. Wilson reminded me too much of a basketball found on a desert island. When I called him Zeek, he wagged his tail and was attentive...so that was that. He's a sweetie and seems happy, and so am I.

Do you know if there is a time frame for these drawings...when the entries need to be in? We have won two, but the rules state one per household per month. It seems they are giving away more than that, as though they are not getting the response they expected. More tee shirts for the Funny Farm!
