I can do cheesecake....

Sheesh... I think I've made enough this month alone that I could make them in my sleep now. ; )

Ah well... I didn't want to shop today anyway, right? pfft...

Now. What do we do for dinner? Too bad there aren't any peelies for free Chinese dinners. *laugh* I have a taste for egg rolls and cashew chicken or something yummy like that.
I have been craving egg rolls at a local Thia place for about a month! I may just have to drive over and grab some. You said cheesecake again drool Ever since you talked about your savory cheesecake I have been imagining how delish it is.

Has anyone ever considered starting a bakery business? I am imagining it would be quite a huge undertaking, but I do often wonder "what if" when it comes to my cheesecakes. There are a few bakeries around - maybe I should scope out any possible competition... Big Grin

What would make one cheesecake maker stand out against other competition. Obviously, quality product is foremost - and I am sure I have that. How would I make it a niche thing and establish myself? :scr atch:
I think your cheesecakes, the gourmet variety, would already stand out against the competition. You could start small and sell them online. Maybe make a FB page about them with pics and all like handcrafted gourmet cheesecakes or something.

Cool, I thought it was probably a good price. We aren't in the market for one (we're thinking of getting a sleep number bed (and perhaps moving up to a king sized bed) after we move), but I always like it when people bring good deals into TCC - you never know what people are ISO. Smilie
I know me too, we actually need a guest bed but DH is gone and um I don't know. But that was a really good price.
Quote from bunnies46 :
I think this is a great idea!

I am willing to be your tester of cheesecakes. I will hold the official 'tester' title and you don't even have to pay me shake head I think friends should help friends out..so...when do we start bouncebounce
Iagree

I was just checking out the site for a new Thai place here in town, and then another one about 30 minutes away. Small, local places with great reviews on yelp. I wish the food could come through the screen!

I had 3 mini tacos for lunch! laugh out loud

What was the name of the cabins? We have thought about a trip out there and that sounds right up our alley.
Here's [vrbo.com] where we stayed...their prices have gone up since we were there, but SO worth the money, especially since it looks like they remodeled! The website has a lot of other cabins in the area...I would totally recommend Hill City or close by, since it's central to a LOT of things to do. We ended up just driving around...one day we wound up at a rodeo at the base of the Crazy Horse monument; watched that and drove up the hill to tour Crazy Horse afterward. It was completely amazing - I heart that whole area!

Back in the early days of that WM thread it was all about the 37000 at SCO! I was fairly new to deciphering the coupon code and everyone welcomed me to the dark side. That's before SD sort of cleaned up and didn't let us talk about certain things. I've cleaned up my act a bit too. Angel Not: Evil

I love Yelp! We followed recommendations from there when we went to Hawaii and everything we had was nummy.

Made a quick run today. Had the boys w/ me, so it couldn't be long.Embarrassment Found a few jeggings. Had to put 1 pair back at the register, bc my up & up bleach cleaner leaked.Mad Didn't want spotty pants.laugh out loud
Gave 1 a candy coupon & sent him to the candy isle. The other found the patio furniture & lounged there.
Why is it that the coupons I ordered were in the mailbox when I got home? Why can't they come before I shop? And, dang it, Lori is so slow. Hers always take so long. Frown
Why do those Classico 16s always act up? I think I use them right.
Was not at my regular store (where there has been NO C9 coupons), & found some C9s.woot
OT: steam mops. I have a new Eureka Enviro & have used it twice on tile floors. I don't understand why people rave about these things. It does not clean the grout. And I don't see how it can, bc the pad does not contact the grout lines. Are you supposed to scrub by hand (or with a regular mop) after you hit it w/ the steam mop? I must be using the thing wrong. I'm going to try it on my hardwoods, but after the break-in period (when it puts out a lot of moisture).
The weather is beautiful here.
Have I skipped from subject to subject enough?LMAO

Get Carpet cleaner like the Bissell or Hoover. They work great on bare floors as well as carpet and the brushes will get into the grout. I have had both at different time for several years each and currently have one of each. My preference is the Bissell however, the Hoover works well also.

The Bissell has an actual hard wood floor attachment but I didn't have it and it still worked fine and sucked all the water up off my hardwood floors. I think it just kind of extends the sucker end a bit so it's tighter to a flat floor.

Dang. If I'd known that, I wouldn't have bought this Eureka. I have a new carpet cleaner that I've used once. I think it's a Hoover. May have to try that on the tile. Too skeerd to try it on the hardwoods.

I hadn't read the Walmart thread until bunnies posted something earlier. I scrolled up a little, read a post about someone hyperventilating about coupons, and backed away.

My brother, his wife and my 6 month old nephew are flying in for a visit in April. Where can I get an inexpensive stroller and high chair? I don't want to spend a lot because they live in North Carolina so they only visit once or twice a year. I've checked craigslist but I live in the middle of no where LOL

The Walmart thread was almost dead, as far as deals go, until the new coupon policy came out.

So maybe you are right, maybe we should just post deals there again, and let the thread die with dignity...
