Last house was 100+ year old American Four Square with Oak hardwood downstairs. I used it before and after I refinished them and it didn't hurt them. After I refinished them they were polyurethaned - 3 rooms, 5 coats. By hand. And that was after I sanded and stained them.

This house has wood parquet tiles in two bedrooms and the tiny little hallway. They aren't sealed with anything. I have used it on them and it hasn't done anything either. But then, if I scrub them it's still with a bucket of water and a rag. So, it's water either way. With the steam cleaner you are pretty much just sucking it right back up.

Whew, sitting at work and popped in the thread to see what was going on..

All I see is food talk.. chinese, thai, candy bars, cinammon rolls, mashed potatoes, and tacos..

Do you have a Kmart nearby? They have some terrific baby gear clearance deals, and if there not marked at your store they may still be in stock!

First pan is done. Well, heck, I just looked over and hubby has devoured the first roll... in about two minutes. The plate it is on is a Corelle Ware saucer
