Have you considered having an alarm system installed? We had one put in as soon as we bought our house, and I will always have one from now on. We don't live in a bad area, but knowing that the doors and windows are alarmed gives me total piece of mind (especially when DH travels). IIRC, most of the install was free - we just paid a $199 fee for the setup. I'm not sure what the monthly is, but I'd guess it's about $39.
I totally agree on the alarm system..DH does not travel or have to stay late but at times if he has to, I am more at ease with the alarm system...

Space saver high chair $39.99 shipped from Amazon (paid with GC) + JJ playing with the box as a fort = PRICELESS!

I'm just happy I didn't have to lug that thing into my cart at T, then into the car, then into the house! Plus it's the green pattern and not boring brown that T carries. Teehee
Glad you mentioned that....wasn't it you that was looking to buy a True Fit car seat? I needed to replace a seat in one of our cars and had looking into which one I was gonna get....also settled on the True Fit since the fact that it was nice and big and I could turn dd back rear-facing appealed to me. Anyway this [dealomite.com] site has awesome deals on them!! And the shipping was fast and only $7.95 for a huge car seat not bad. I ended up paying around $110 for the True Fit premiere....how it works is they run an item for 6 days:

day 1, reg. low price
day 2, 10% off low price
day 3, 20%....
day 4, 30%....
day 5, 40%...
day 6, 50%....

They can sell out at any time so it's kind of a gamble on when to buy. The premier I got I bought at day 3 and was glad I did because it sold out later in the day. Some of them seem to last more until about day 4. I wanted to see how decent their service was before recommending and I don't know what color/version you wanted anyway but I was thrilled with the deal since the same seat is $180+ on Amazon Smilie We LOVE this seat btw; I can install it well by myself and no silly locking clips needed, big bonus since our van is juuuuust old enough that it doesn't have LATCH.

And what relevance did this have to the box story? DD has of course has enjoyed the big box it came in as much as the seat Teehee

I can totally relate to traveling DH. Mine is too, I seem to only have insomnia when he is gone.

I have yet to use a Happy Baby coupon, must get them printed and get out to shop. Not even sure what my T carries but they should at least have some. Hopefully frozen fruit, that would be awesome.

Quote from Thrifteh :
If you don't find them in the regular aisle of your grocery store check the organic section too.

I am kinda feeling like a HB fail...I have only picked up 1 canister of brown rice. We heart this stuff and it was basically all that I bought for JJ (sans coupons) as he has that derned milk protein allergy and the HB products we used were completely dairy free. Whee

JJ is feeling a little better today. Temp down to 100.4 this morning and he hadn't been dosed with meds since bedtime. He isn't as grumpy but still has his moments. I think I'm going to throw a pork roast in the crockpot so I can make it to the store tonight.

Nikayla!!!!!! Thanks for the awesome surprise RAOK. I heart you!

4BB, good to see you round these parts again!!! hug
YW, I was just wondering yesterday if I had sent you a envi or if I still needed to make one, lol. When I don't sleep well it makes my days foggy.

Then she has seen it, hopefully she has gotten the point and has cleaned up her ways. Being a public figure and all she will have to be a clean shopper. It is not like you can't get free or nearly free Tide and Charmin, you just have to work for it and line up the MQ, store Q, and GC or RR or UP.

Ank, I was so excited to find those Philly MQs, mostly for your cheesecake, I had to send you some.

That is a good price on the True Fit...but they don't take Amazon GCs Hide

Oh and I mentioned the box only because JJ has been feeling crappy the past few days and him playing nicely is a huge bonus...as well as the fact that this box is much larger than all the other Amazon boxes we've received...big enough for him to play in. He does still say boxzzzz, boxzzzzzzzz, boxzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, etc and counts them all. laugh out loud

The Amazon coupon has been a Godsend with babeh JJ's needs and the new babeh on the way's needs. Pray

Kiley says boooooooox too. It is so funny. I took about 10 of the little boxes and re-taped them shut. The kids have been putting stickers on them and then wheeling them around in our shopping cart and making deliveries all over the house. It's a riot.

Sign up to be a zone perfect VIP and print out some b1g1 coupons. You can print as many as you like (I think they are the same codes though) but only once so print what you want the first time. BTW...these are 14's. Smilie

Thought I had a reader but ended up just being a looker Dontknow I used 4 HB today, I justify it because my family is two times the size of yours Wink I am off to get the kidlets from school and hit up my new Wags, again for the fourth time this week already. Since your husband paid for it, you obviously have to use it instead of the free stuff. Now you can send me all the free ibuprofen.

Doesn't seen right that they put up a public page and then one person can delete another's comments just because it's a response to the their comment. Lesson learned. Don't respond like that. Start a whole new comment and just reference the other person's comments. (Did I use the word "comments" enough?)

I am sure she will never forget the day she decided to make that target video...laugh out loud
Well, somebody should remind her just in case. Somebody out there has to have to that video. I think it would be very entertaining if someone were to put it back on youtube (or wherever else you can do that), link to it, and do a step by step commentary on her actions in the video.

On that note, how long do you all think a baby eats baby cereal for?
I'm 47. I'll let ya know when I stop eating it. Seriously, I love that cereal, it's one of my very favorites but I rarely eat it. Way, way way to fattening.

put on lot of weight from being sedentary - nothing fits, which is less of a problem right now -- - what will i wear? nothing fits.
Nonetheless, it's still depressing and irritating on top of all your other problems right now. come on to the diet chat for moral support where bitching and whining about tight pants is not only welcomed, it's encouraged. Some of it is probably water puffiness too and not all fat. Once you can get moving again, you might not have gained as much as you think. In the meantime -- now don't take this wrong -- but what about maternity pants. They don't make them like they used to. Shoot, you can't even tell most of them are maternity any more. I'll bet you could find a few cute shorts for summer. They would be comfortable and non restrictive for you therapy. And you wouldn't have to deal with the being tight every time you retain more fluid or even if you gain a little.

We had to make a trip across the state (a little over 4 hours away) to deal with a pressure tank problem at our rental house. Left Monday evening, fixed problem Tuesday, headed back Tuesday night got home about 1 am. Yuck.

TM4D - we got caught in that hail storm about 9:30 last night between CR and Waterloo. It was coming down hard and heavy -- hard enough that I had to pull over, visibility was about nothing -- but I think we caught the edge where the hail was smaller. It was weird it wasn't even gradual -- just BOOM all at once. DH had crawled in back and was asleep when it hit. Boy did he come flying up. We thought for sure our van would be a mess. I haven't had it out in bright sunlight, well, because there is no sunlight today. But we have both looked at it in the garage and it looks like it's fine.

Hi, guys!! Wave

Enjoying my afternoon cup of coffee and trying to find deals for HT this week. Lots of coupons to clip...

GG, good to see you post, but so sorry to hear you're still not feeling well. hug Prayers that you will see healing, and SOON!

I am at the point where there are too many deals at too many places, and I have no time to get them all. Its a good problem, I suppose, but it makes me get all foggy-headed trying to sort out the priorities and whatnot.

Today is a rainy, dreary, cold day, and I feel like doing nothing but sitting with my coffee and reading a good book. Unfortunately, the mountain of laundry on the couch prevents me from doing that!!! laugh out loud
