Did you see the Examiner and SacBee got the $10/20 Kohls peelie this week? I can't remember exactly where you are in NorCal, but hope you can find one to use with your $10!
Thanks for thinking of me. I did see that! I asked my hubby to check the papers he gets delivered at his work, but he didn't find one. Frown I will go to SW on my way to Kohls and hopefully find one! That would be awesome. We are north bay, so we usually get the SF Chron. and then our local papers, but I will check just to be sure. bounce

Well I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack. I had many cavities and gonna have to have them taken care of. In April. They said I brush fine and there's barely any junk to scrape off my teeth. The problem is with all my back ones my mouth is so small I can't get the toothbrush back there to do its job, etc. They had trouble doing all the x-rays and had to switch over to the kid-sized x-ray thing-a-ma-bobbies Dontknow Anyway, me and my small mouth felt like a freak show laugh out loud And I'm pretty sure that's the only time I've ever been told I have a small mouth Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) They did comment that I must have a pretty decent electric toothbrush Roll As the dentist prescribed me a special high-flouride toothpaste that ends up being FOUR DOLLARS PER TUBE!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't even try to explain why $4 was gonna about kill me. I don't even know that I'm gonna fill the prescription.

Nothing exciting to report. It's cold, highs in the upper 30's today, 31 tomorrow. Light snow, but no accumulation. So tired of winter.

Ugh ugh ugh, tell me about it. Gonna be walking in that 5K in the AM tomorrow, with dd in the jogger....and we're both gonna freeze our behinds off I have a feeling.

Anyways, since I was up, I was gonna order my carseat from Kohls. Right before I completed the order, I decided to check Amazon just in case, well they had dropped the The First Years True Fit C670 Premier Convertible Car Seat down to $194.99 and it was sold by amazon, so I was able to use my $10 Q to drop it and then use GCs to help pay for it. I still don't know if it was the better deal, but J said it was. I ended up paying $112 oop on Amazon. At Kohls I would have paid $150 oop, but I would have earned $40 in Kohls cash, which I was planning on using it towards a stoller. The only thing is they didn't have the stroller we wanted Dontknow I think I am over thinking it all! :lo l:

*snip*
Sounds like a decent deal, what pattern was it? Some of them are so much more for whatever reason Dontknow My GC stash is horribly low so I had like no $$$ in GC's to put toward mine. So I guess on the bright side it narrowed down my options and that's a good thing for me! We got the pink Polka Dotty one. I'm still in love with it.

What stroller are you looking into?

I wanted the pink polka dotty one, but Amazon didn't have that one in stock. I got the Black/Red one. I check the site you listed (daily Embarrassment) and it was still a better deal at Amazon with my GCs. What is funny is that the black/red one was just $249.99 a few days ago at Amazon. Dontknow I think that is why I hoped on the deal. Also bc it is part of the Free 365-Day Returns from Amazon. I will just keep it in box until I need it, that way if I find a better deal somewhere else, I can return the Amazon one.

I like the Chicco Liteway Stroller [amazon.com] in surf. I need a stroller that is high enough for J (he is 6'3) and yet light enough for me, also not very expensive (bc I am cheap Embarrassment). I have been searching CL, but not finding anything yet. Frown

I'm SO very proud of you! My family now saves the TP rolls without me even asking. Just the other day I saw Cole walking down the hall with one and I'm all "where, you going with that" and he's all "I'm putting it on your desk". Teehee

I'm already trying to get my list together of stuff we're going to do over the summer. We try to do the free movie once a week, story time at the library once a week, a fun other story time (main library, whole foods, pottery barn) once a week. That leaves me just 2 days a week with other free time. Just got to keep them busy.

I updated FB and a couple of the other lounge threads I visit, but forgot to update here.

Went to hospital yesterday to see the high risk doc again as we did blood work on Tuesday (at reg OB appt) and my liver functions were all very elevated. We knew this would be an issue from the diagnosis they gave me with JJ, but I really hoped the high risk doc this time around was right in thinking it was actually preeclampsia and my BP and everything else was checking out just fine. High risk doc recommends delivering next week. Babeh boy will be here 3 weeks early. I guess that was better than the other option of having an amnio to see if the babeh's lungs are developed and delivering last night or today. My doc is a funny funny guy...NOT!

So I have 1 week to get everything in order. Faint

I like the stroller. How are you feeling today. Saw your pic yesterday, meant to comment and then I got distracted. I was probably making trouble somewhere.

:hug2: for the abandon cart run. It seems like you'd know your Target well by now (and all its employees). You need a steady jedi

My really one bad bug I avoided Target like the plague (I have Publix that I can use TQs at) so it wasn't that difficult to avoid. I'm blessed with 3 Targets in the area and a new one just announced to be built basically in the middle of them all. So if I can't get what I want at one, the others look quite attractive.
You are so lucky!!! I have a three but they are a little bit more of a drive. Maybe a hour drive (to and from) isn't to bad?

 I think differently than the masses I suppose. You'd think they would "go green" and cut down on all the waste. I bet they could easily use 1/2 to 1/3 of the paper they use if they would consolidate the coupons more.

The other funny thing is that I don't think their "quality" is that much better than everyone else now. I mean, there used to be a day that you could probably say that they were better than most brands out there, but that's just not so now. And once you get going on the whole "green" issue, there are companies that do much better - and folks are willing to pay for that kind of stuff.

Of course, I should probably state that I'm in a love-hate relationship with P&G. Especially since they were one of the biggest reasons Kroger quit allowing electronic q and paper Q stacking - which is kind of annoying.

Mavis is snuggling in my lap. We got up late today (7:30) and she's now rubbing her eyes and yawning. (so am I... lol)

I think I smell my coffee... must be done brewing! :whee:
I wish they would go green too, they waste so.much.paper! But then again when clipping multiples you don't have to be careful at all so ...
Quote from HDDVDTV :
Bunnies - I received the coupons you sent. Thank you.

Will get the courage to use them babies!!
You can do it, fight the good fight. Than harassment is discrimination, she/he should be fired.
Quote from HDDVDTV :

The manager is the problem. She has the poor cashier afraid to take any coupon.

She doesn't like me and goes out of her way to show that. I must just learn to walk out when that GSTL is there.

I did call GS on the red phone on her once and she will never forget that. They told her she was wrong and she told me she did not have to do what they said. She said she would do it just this once. I don't even remember what the particular coupon or issue was at the time.
If I was in your position I would call corporate on her again and escalate it until you get a reference number from corporate. Let them know that she told you she does not have to do what they say and follow corp policy. The next time she gives you trouble tell her that you discussed her concerns about your coupons with corporate and they said she does need to follow corp policy. Go to this link https://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?sduid=83388&t=1785350 and print these pages from Target training workbench and tell her you know what the corp policy is that she is to follow. I would even highlight the specifics that you want to prove to her like the phrase "It is ok for a guest to use a lot of coupons if they are purchasing a lot of products" "If a guest has 5 items and 5 MQ and 5 TQ all 10 coupons may be used" etc.. I keep these documents with me when I shop T as well as my reference number. If she gives you hard time once you have the ref # and you have to call corp with that # your call should be immediately escalated to someone who can smack her down in corp. I haven't had to do that though, hope I never do.

This is silly...the other day I had 1032 posts today I have 986.
That means that 46 of my posts have disappeared. Hmmm
Sometimes the mods at SD will change a thread from news or something to chat and then all those posts, chat, do not count. I have had that happen often with lounge threads, most of them are chat so they do not increase your post count. Some PW will start threads off with non chat icon but the mods will change them. Maybe that is it?

Hey all :wave2: Well I skipped my prenatal water aerobics today. :O I was up until midnight, and thought I needed the sleep more! :thanks: for the kind words!!

We had company over last night. J's friends just a had a baby and they came over to show us him. They ended up staying really late! I mean at 8:30, I went upstairs to lay down (I was tired) and they still stayed, then at 10 J finally said he needed to go to to bed, and they left. They have a 5 yo and a newborn, I am not sure why they were staying so late on a school day. I don't think they have spring break this week (next town over) so who knows.
Anyways, since I was up, I was gonna order my carseat from Kohls. I need to go to Kohls today as well as RA and SW. SW is doing another good frozen food deal, so I have to go! I have $20 in Ups expiring tomorrow at RA so I need to try and spend that (and hopefully get some back) and then I have a $10 Kohls Q to use in store.
Sounds like a good deal to me, I think that is a great price!

I know I will be about hyperventilating, I am at just the though, all the drilling and grinding, shiver, ugh, nightmare! Gook luck on the 5k, keep warm and bring something hot to drink.

So I apologize to all you grammar etiquette and spelling people. Not my strongest subject and I know I must irritate the heck out of all of you. sad.

I picked up some maternity pants at T lastnight, thinking I'd offer them to you. But they probably wouldn't make it to you in time to wear them before baby arrives now.

Maybe it is because once they are out of schooll we travel almost everyweekend so I am always packing and unpacking and trying to keep up with all the laundry and stuff that goes along with so many trips.

I keep them busy because if we just sit around the house they drive my insane. Like right now Cole is sitting so close to me that his knee keeps hitting a button on the laptop and he's looking at the little smileys on the screen and putting his grubby little fingers all over it. I guess it's time to say goodbye for now and do something fun. laugh out loud
