In my neighbour town babies rus, they are not left out, but inside the drawers, depending on the Associate we might get couple or more. My associate gave me twoFrown

The babies rus that is closest to me has a box in the "back". I am reposting what is happening here,
I went to babies rus for magazines, that idiot CS said that they ordered some, haven't received any
Anyways, that is not true, coz i been there a week back and got about 20 magazines for *moms meeting*.. yeah the same
Even that time, they couldn't find any in registry area or anywhere in CS, the associate who helped me just joined the work force, asked someone and brought a box from the back (where they keep their inventory), opened, counted 20 magazines and gave them to me. Then I saw him, take the box back to the *back*
now i am sure, they didn't bring that darn box out and that stuppy lazy CS dont want to look.. how what should i do?
Yesterday DH went there and asked, he was told they didn't receive any...
today I went there, told the CS associate that my friend got few this morning and CS brought the new box from inside, opened and gave her some.. and they now say that my friend sure didn't get any magazines.. what the heck..so irritating
...

Hey all, does anyone have experience with a Phil & Teds double stroller? I found this one [craigslist.org] on CL and I really like the price, but I am not sure how easy it is to use, and how the 'back seat can detach' thing works. Any info would be helpful! TIA heart

Apparently it was a really good deal because the post has been deleted Frown Sorry you missed it. I've always thought Phil & Ted's is way out of my price range (that's just me), but also thought it doesn't look like the infant can see anything, being behind the older child. I've never seen one in person, that's just what it looks like to me.

ETA - If you're looking for some big item, you may want to check ebay and sort the list by "nearest first". That's how I got a fantastic deal on a new travel system for our last baby. It took a while waiting for one to come up, but some people don't want to ship and you may be able to get a great price picking it up locally.

Maybe I linked it wrong Dontknow but its still showing up for me. It is listed for $50 right now (says it needs to be sprayed off bc of dust from the garage). I wouldn't be using it as a double stroller though, just as a single, but the price seemed pretty good for the brand (design, ect), but I just wasn't sure how easy it is to detach the second seat.

Thanks That is a GREAT idea! I hadn't thought to look on Ebay (bc of shipping costs) so I will do that now! hearthug

I didn't see the listing either to know what the price was but I will say that when I was doing tons of research a month or so ago on jogging strollers you didn't see much talk of Phil & Ted's like you did the BOB's, etc....kinds of leads me to believe that they are overrated. I think they just look cool LMAO I think I would be afraid that my kid would get all kinds of dust and gravel and water splashed up on them if they were sitting in that thing! Dunno what the price was though.

ETA: I see where you said it's $50 now....I think that is a really great price though....for any jogging stroller let alone a good brand. I *think* the seat detaches on those....but don't quote me laugh out loud

Yep, in NC currently- DH is from PA, where 99.99% of his family still lives, 10 Bio-Aunts & Uncles. I grew up in Woodbridge, VA went to Osbourne Park then Hylton High once it was built. I left for college then went back for a little bit after family left then became a nomad.

I LOVE Ikea, It is afforable yet stylish swedish designed funishings for your home. You should totally order the catalog, they have awesome designers that stage the rooms in the catalog and I love to steal ideas.

If I'm even remotely interested in something that looks like a fantastic deal on CL, I usually email the seller ASAP and tell them I'm interested and ask any questions I have. That way I reserve my place in the 'queue' so to speak Big Grin
