Good thinking! I will have to start that as well!

TMJ - it's the joint in your jaw near your ear. There is a disk that sits in there and can slip out of place - sometimes it pops on and off the spot it's supposed to be on and causes clicking noises, pain, and sometimes where you can't open your mouth. DD's is really bad - one side worse than the other. On the one side the disk occasionally slips back into place, but on the other side it is fixed in front of where it is supposed to be. When her jaw opens, it sometimes catches on that and gets stuck and causes a lot of pain and the inability to open her mouth or chew.

Thanks for all the well-wishes and prayers!

Trying to figure out what to pack for the little ones tomorrow. I think I have a couple LPS stashed away in the closet. I may dig one out for my toddler to get/play with while we wait. I was going to make a run to T to check for the crayola things, but DH has my keys with him at work!! laugh out loud One of those days...

I'm tuckered out and I think I call quits on the cleaning.

Ank - How are the girls feeling this evening?? Over the fever and stomach junk?
Praying your oldest DD has a smooth surgery tomorrow and a quick recovery hug

Didn't make it out of the house today.. It has just been one of those lazy kinda days.. Played with my DD, snuggled and watched TV, helped the older ones with school work for about 2 hours.. Was going to head out after dinner, but don't want to get out of my pajamas laugh out loud

Totally didn't plan on cooking dinner. I thought DH and I were gonna take our date night tonight because I am working on the normal date night.. but, he came home from work early complaining of eye pain, so he didn't want to go back out.. Left me looking for dinner options late in the day..

It was a definite throw together of whatever was in the pantry/freezer..

I had a TGIF skillet meal.. cooked the chicken and veggies for myself and skipped the rice

I served the family some campbells chunky steak and potato soup mixed with chunky vegetable beef that I got free from publix at some point..and put it over rice.. Then they had corn, and biscuits from the freezer.. It was quick and easy, and they seemed to eat it up..
Took some cookie dough from the freezer and made white chocolate macadamia nut cookies for desert for them.... while I on the other hand am having a diet sprite with raspberry syrup drool

Nevermind, someone else bought it.

Hey all, does anyone have experience with a Phil & Teds double stroller? I found this one [craigslist.org] on CL and I really like the price, but I am not sure how easy it is to use, and how the 'back seat can detach' thing works. Any info would be helpful! TIA heart
I bought a Phil & Teds "Vibe" double stroller when they first came out. I figured it would be great for when I had my 2nd baby. I can't tell you how much I HATED that Censored2 stroller! I know lots of people love their P&Ts, but I didn't think it steered well, it was heavy, it was hard to fold, and it was a Censored2 PIA to get a kid in the back "jump" seat. Oh, and the sun canopy sucked balls.

So I sold the P&T and got a Baby Jogger City Mini double. Didn't like that one, but I got a SD on it so I was able to sell it for more than I paid for it. Then I got a Bob revolution duallie - love love love it! Steers like a dream, folds as well as a double can, great sun canopy, etc, etc.

Now that my kids are older, if we use a stroller, we use our Peg Perego P3 - one rides in the stroller and the other stands on the standing board in back.

M2c & MOT2: what's good at publix this week?

Ank: yes, I am around now! Very busy weekend with grandma's 80th bday... Ended up skipping the cheesecake and made a caviar pie instead. :-)

STFC run today. Found a MIR tearpad for a free tombstone pizza (up to $7.01) wyb ANY hasbro game! Limit 5. Finally found some PF peelies too!
The Hasbro thing is online also. I downloaded the .pdf for it. I've already mailed in a few receipts. For publix this week I'm getting a bunch of free fruit snacks from the b1g1 betty crocker peelie and that's pretty much it. Slow week for me. Next week Sabra hummus is b1g1. yummy

Thank you for the prayers. We need 'em.

Mavis is seeming to be doing better - still a little cranky/tired, but haven't really noticed the fever. My toddler seemed to be doing better, but she's now got a fever of 101. Dontknow Now I have no idea what to do tomorrow. Do I go and take the oldest to her surgery and leave the toddler with DH? Do I stay home with the toddler and leave DD with DH for the surgery? Do I attempt to take the toddler to the hospital where she could pass on whatever she's got to folks (not exactly a nice thought)? Ugh.

I did hear about Kmart. I may check it out if I get some time this week, but I'm not super hopeful. We'll see - never know what fun you may find.

Anyone in the Woodbridge VA area? I am traveling thru next Sunday/Monday and will be shopping at the Potomac Mills Ikea for my new kitchen.

We tried to pay my FIL to do this trip for us but it hasnt worked out yet sooo We are going to do a YS on Friday, then another on Saturday, pack up I will go home a pop 2 or 3 Motrin PMs and go right to sleep until 11pm when we will put the kids into the car and drive 8+ hours up to Reading PA to DH's Uncle's house to buy his enclosed trailer. We plan to get there for breakfast see a few family members then visit his Gma for the last time in the nursing home - which I am so not looking forward to. Old dying people freak me out, and I would really rather remember her how I do instead of how we will see her next week. FIL says she is basically a zombie who doesn't even get out of bed anymore - for no reason, she is in perfect health but super catholic and can't kill herself technically but just wants to be dead to be with god or whatever so she is 'not' killing herself by starving herself and holding her breathe!?!?!
After that super long 15 minutes we will get right back in the car and drive the 4+ hours back to VA and get a hotel room there for the evening and wake up for a fun filled day at Ikea. Then back home with a trailer full of Swedish finds.
FYI - 3 Targets in the Reading PA area, and they are nice and friendly. Not sure where you are, or if its easier, but there is an Ikea in Plymouth Meeting PA, about 45 mins from Reading. Hope that helps.

Guess it depends on how your DH does with sick kiddos.. I personally would go with the oldest for surgery and leave the other 2 younger ones at home with DH. Not only do you not want to spread it.. but my little ones were always cranky when they didn't feel well and they would not have been pleasant for anyone in a waiting room when sick shake head
