Target annoys me sometimes. I went to one of our targets last night to get some allergy meds. I use a TQ and a MQ for Allegra. The girl tells me she cant take both...argued a minute and she took it.

Today my husband goes to another target by us to get more allergy pills. There are 3 of us that take them so the zyrtec being on sale plus the coupons really helps.

The girl tells my husband she cant take the MQ coupon b/c the picture is a bottle not a box. The wording of the coupon says save on any zyrtec 24 ct or larger. We get the zyrtec D b/c thats what we need. So he tried arguing with her and telling her to read what it says and the picture is just that.

Guess I need to call that Target and have a chat with a manager. sheesh...

Kaiser did that to me when Soph was born! Gave her some vaccines at the hospital without my permission! Annoyed I mean I would have said yes, but still!
They give vaccines as soon as babies are born now? See, I am not wasting my time just hanging out here. That is information I might need to know. I have grown kids, they might have a baby eventually and now I know this.

Yes I can't remember all that they gave her, but I know they gave her Vit K (not a vaccine, but I wasn't told or asked and I should have been at least told), and I believe they started her Hep B vaccine series. Hep B is a 3 shot series (as is the Gardasil, one of the HPV vaccines) so they gave her the first one in the hospital. I know there was 1 more, but I can't remember it. I only found out bc I asked about them, they never told me until I brought it up! Rather irritating!

Dontknow I know that there are some parents that do not vaccinate (My MIL did NOT vaccinate either of her kids, so my hubby and BIL have had to get them as adults so they could go to college, ect) so I assume those parents would have long conversations with the doctors and hospital staff before hand? Dontknow
I know that I did not want Soph to have ANY formula at all. I told the staff over and over again, as did J, and they still gave her a bottle 2 nights in a row! I was IRATE (can you tell I did NOT like my Kaiser experience)! Their answer was "you looked tired and we thought you could use the rest" (she was in the nursery a lot of the time bc I had a C section and recovery was not going great). I told them I didn't care what they thought I needed, I wanted to BF exclusively and they better not do it again. Ranting That was the only formula Soph ever had laugh out loud

Ank hug hope everything goes well with B's oral surgery!

I'm not too concerned with the plantar wart. Just didn't know it was caused by HPV. When Mini had her physical before HS in San Diego they said she'd get the vacs/boosters that she needed at that time. Then after everything was said and done they told us she also rec'd the HPV vac. Ummm, I thought that was optional as in something I approve and ask for. Annoyed So I don't know a whole lot about the vac or HPV for that matter. I was a little peeved at Kaiser for their administering an optional vac without my consent first.

Taking JJ to T for portraits (damn T and your $50 cert that expires 3/31! But I can stack coupons) at 10. He's going to wear his Easter suit which I got at T last year for 75% off. It's khakis, a blue sport coat, a little tie and a pink oxford. Teehee I'm sure Papi is gonna love the pink shirt on him. Teehee

Later this afternoon I see my reg ob and he'll schedule the induction. I hope it's Sat as that works best for childcare and J's work sched.
I would have been upset at them giving a vaccine w/o consent as well! Our dr. always pushes vaccines but I can't imagine them doing such a thing!

When DS started gymnastics, he was an AWFUL listener and never participated in any of the group activities--and he was with a group made up solely of his friends. It was 10X worse when I participated along with them. He got better and I think it was confidence that changed his attitude. He was getting stronger and better at gymnastics. Hang in there! It has so many benefits!

hug you are not alone! Went to T for JJ's portraits. Major fail! He did not want to listen or sit still at all! Granted he's only 19 mos but I did expect him to sit for a couple shots. We walked out empty handed and me sweaty and frustrated! Just feels like a major waste of time. Frown

Yes JJ is high spirited and head strong but why does he turn into ferrel child when I take him into public? Sadwalk

I'm really nervous tthinking about what life is going to be like around here after this weekend.

Well how exciting. Now, let's see.... are going to school to be a veterinarian, a vet tech (is that the right title?), or are you just running around randomly intubating dogs?

Ha! While the thought of random intubations is LMAO I'm actually studying to be a vet tech. I was actually surprised at how simple it was!
