Horizon is $3.69-$3.99 a half gallon here. I used to buy it by the gallon in SoCal, but I have not found it offered in gallons at my STs here. It is such a yummy and creamy milk! Mini Thrift can and will drink a gallon of milk in a few days, this is exactly why I switched to Horizon a few years ago. All of those hormones and antibiotics vomit

wave Just poppin' in as it's been crazy busy here. Spring sports have started for the kids and it keeps me on the move! Wish I had more time to catch up on what's going on with everyone - there's never enough time, is there?

Anyway, I just wanted to share that my local paper had the P&G insert today. As previously discussed, it does have a couple good ones: Gillette BW BOGO and Swiffer Duster BOGO. I'm thinking even with all the sports, my DSs and my house will be super clean this month! Wink
THank you so much for sharing this Smilie

I was wondering about the Horizion too, does T carry it? I can't remember. Roll about the farting car, it does sound kinda like that. I was next to some 16 yr old girls (well they were very young and silly) and they were jammin out head banging at the stop light and goofing off... sigh... might be nice to have just a moment of that young and carefreeness, no worries, no kids.

The Horizon 1/2 gallon of DHA plus milk is $3.89 at Kroger. The gallon was over $5. I never bought it at T before b/c my ghetto Kroger ALWAYS had plenty marked down half off 5 days before expiration... We love the taste of horizon but now both of my boys drink rice dream.

These last couple of days have been rough around here. DS#1 woke with a poopy/pukey bug on Monday morning, so we laid around all day. It rained that day, so it was good to spend it in inside (M2CL we made the TP peacocks that day). Even though DS was in sweet sick mode...all he wanted to do was watch TV and be quiet Coverlaugh, it was a LONG day! Yesterday thought he was better but by mid morning, he was sick again. Another day spent inside. Today we ventured out to storytime at the library but 15 minutes in, I gave up and left. Both boys were chasing each other around the library screaming and yelling. It was embarrassing. Then, I rented Tangled from Redbox, we watched that, took baths and now what? It's pouring outside again and they have school tomorrow....it's only 5:00. I am pulling my hair out... Well, it IS 5:00 Cheers

Except for a lunchtime trip to T on Monday, I have been cooped up all week. Oh, Except for yesterday, I met someone to sell them diapers and they paid $60 cash which I promptly turned around and put into my gas tank. Didn't even get it 3/4 full. Sadwalk

Another couple price mistakes I found this evening:

- Crayola gel paints these [amazon.com] for .87

- Rose Art glitter glue jumbo these [megabrands.com] for .98

- Playtex plates these [toysrus.com] for 1.56

I couldn't remember if the first two had been mentioned, but I was pretty sure the last one has NOT been mentioned or I would have remembered it. nod Reminds me of the great Playtex sippy cup deal of a couple years ago!! Big Grin

Does anyone know the best way to fill a cupcake w/o a piping bag? Damn Betty Crocker sent methis recipe [bettycrocker.com] the other day and I have been itching to make it. Well, I did and despite the reviews that filling them is easy, I am finding it impossible to fill using just a ziploc bag!!

Also, does anyone use Bare Minerals makeup? I tried a bunch of samples over the weekend and heart it! It seems like it stays on and matte for a lot longer than other brands. Usually use PF and see they have a mineral line too. Any reviews?

Story of the last 19 mos of my life. Comfort

Hope the boys start feeling better soon! We had some really nice days in March so JJ got the *outside, outside, outside* bug bad. We had snow over the weekend and early this week so he's been cooped up and needs to get out and run off some energy!

I think the problem you're running into is not having a pastry tip.

I have used BE/BM exclusively as my foundation for the past 7 years IIRC. heart it. I have tried PF b/c I'm a cheapy but after one use I tossed it and said never will I stray from my BE! I find that the pots of powder last a long time as well. Plus, I don't feel like I have gunk on my face. It is so light weight!

Doh You're right. Since every single piece of kitchen equipment (except for newly acquired kitchenaid and kitchen essentials) is boxed in storage, I will have to improvise. I am going to try inserting a small straw from inside the bag. *fingerscrossed* will report back laugh out loud

Thanks for the BM review. I am going to order some. I know Amazon sells it, any SDs you know of?

Not very successful. It helped to create a canal inside the cupcake with a straw and filling it by using a small piece of a straw at the very end of the bag. Very labor intensive but it worked. Smilie

How did you peacock turn out? We've done a bunch of crafts the last few days with this craptastic weather. I had to wake the baby this morning at 7:45 so I could get Cole to school on time and she had loose poop in her diaper. Not watery, just smooshy. She drank some milk and split a banana with me. We dropped Cole, went to T, I was sitting in the parking lot finishing up a phone call with my best friend and she farking vomits all over the damn place. I got out and wiped off her face and moved some toys she had been playing with that didn't have puke all over them. Then we drove home, I stripped her down in the drive way, gave her a bath in the sink, got her seat out of the car, disassembled it so I could wash the damn cover. I swear, if they ever have a "mommy olympics" and one of the categories is disassembling and reassembling a Britax Marathon I would win hands down. I think I could take that sucker apart with my eyes closed.

She hasn't puked again and she never had a fever so I think it was something she ate last night. Little bugger. Now I'm going to go and put her seat back in the car. We're heading to the orlando science center tomorrow for some fun.

You might also try a heavier weight ziploc. Like those big freezer bags. They might be strong enough to get the cream inside the cupcake. I made some kick ass chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes the other day. You put raw, frozen cookie dough in the cupcake thing after you fill it with batter. The dough cooks a little, but stays pretty raw because it is frozen to begin with. Holy delicious batman. yummy

I was just at a store close to me that had some of the infant care books tonight. They had a stack of about 12 of them on the beauty counter. So I could pick some up if anyone still needs them.
I know this was a while ago you posted about this, but..
did you happen to pick up extra Infant care books at Walgreens? I have looked at all surrounding stores here and cannot find them anywhere Frown
If you'd be willing to send me one, let me know what I can send in return! Smilie
