Hey before I forget or lose them, if anyone could use these, PM me your address:

(6) $.75 off any 2 Annie's Homegrown or Annie's Naturals products, exp 5/31/11
Fine print: "Limit one coupon per customer" and "Do not double" (5)

(just realized I have been seeing hangtags in 'stacks' on zip ties at Pick N Saves around here - I wonder why they're doing it that way? probably less work for employees, but also easier to discreetly take more than one) Evil
(I've been wanting a reason to use that smiley Coverlaugh )

I realize I'm still more a 'visitor', and I understand your frustration.

But like the article on Jill's website stated, things posted on the internet are out there for anyone to read. *I* am not offended. If I do get bothered, I just quit reading.
I guess it was more a reminder that this is a public thread.

G'night.

ha ha ha... no... one is skinned and scabby... the other is bruised. My elbows are ugly. You don't want to see them.

My backside hurts a bit too - but neither have I looked nor have I taken any pictures...

May-berry is fairing pretty well. She was a bit crankier today, so I tried some pain reliever and that seemed to perk her up. In spite of the cast, she is managing to figure a way to get around pretty well. She scooted herself to the back door and sat looking out the window. She was pointing and patting the glass and saying "car" ever-so-often. I don't know if she actually was associating the word with the cars going past, but since I"m her biased mom and think she's super smart, I'll say she knows exactly what she's talking about. *laugh* I also think she was saying "crocodile", but my hubby says I must be nuts.

At any rate, she is doing pretty good. Needs lots of mommy snuggles. I was soooo depressed after we got home from the docs today because my kitchen was a stinking mess. I was also very tired, so I decided I would take the baby and go lay down with her. I figured "pfft" dishes, mess, it'll all wait. I need sleep and snugglies with my dear May-may. Well, I must say that my teenager stepped up the game big time. She kept my toddler busy and I never heard a peep. She also cleaned up the kitchen and took care of 99% of the mess. I had a good 2 hour nap! I can't even believe how good I felt when I woke up. It was great.

I have also determined that I just don't have time or enough emotional energy to waste on feeling guilty. So I won't. Mavis is doing well - it could've been worse and I'm am extremely grateful that it isn't. God has been good to me, and we have been blessed with great docs and friends that have offered all kinds of encouragement and support. It's been a good experience.

DH and I decided we would submit to the bank for pre-approval for a home loan. I thought for sure we would be turned down and that it would give us an idea of what we needed to do to get to a point where we would be approved, but we actually got an approval for $125K. Talk about being shocked. The payment - after taxes and insurance - would be $100 more than what we are paying now on our little town home rental if we went with the max. We don't want to do that, so we are trying to keep it between $80-90K. It's not much, but it'll do. So DH wants to start looking at houses. I'm terrified now! It's a big step and a big commitment. We would have to come up with 3.5% for a down payment. We had always said we'd wait until we had 10%, so it's kind of scary to think of starting now. We have nothing saved! Any emergency savings we had have been eaten up with medical bill payments, and of course, now there are more medical bills coming! This should be a fun summer trying to find ways to bring in some cash, but I suspect I'll figure something out.
Poor thing, I completely missed what happened! :hugs: And congrats and good luck with the home buying!

Thrift, congrats on the new little one!

Nothing much going on here. Dh called me today as I was leaving T, to tell me that his transmission went out. He only has 27,000 miles on his Ford POS. shake head A tow truck is coming tomorrow to take it to the dealership and then the fight begins because they don't want to cover the rental car. I'm OMG at the thought that a 3 yr old car already needs this kind of work. It's still under original manufacturer warranty so they better not fight with us on this.

77 bottles of mustard that her DH doesn't even eat..WTF do they do with it all...

The 3rd one has 50 pkts of chips..seriously..
looks like they eat them.

slickdeals makes people fat (including me) and i guess so does extreme couponing.

she was just buying the mustard to increase her total for the show. it was on sale for 1.39 and she used a .50 q that was doubled. i thought she bought 60 bottles, if so, she paid 23.40 of her 100.xx bill on mustard. i got mustard free this yr and last yr after doubled q's, so i know she didn't wait for the better sale. fyi- this yrs free bottle was way smaller than last yrs....
