I'm just totally stressed out and I feel like there are 1 million things going on all at the same time. And I totally know that I should shut my pie hole because there are people with real problems out there, but that doesn't help pack my house any faster! I'm having a tasty beverage to settle my nerves!

Good Morning Creatures!

I feel sick. We have had fever, sore throat and general acky running through the house for the last 4 days, now I am thinking mama is getting it. I keep telling myself..no one is throwing up so, I can deal if I come down with the fever and sore throat. No biggie.

Hope everyone is well. I am 2 pages behind, no time to catch up at the moment. Plus I am sleep deprived. I would give anything just to have one night where I could get 8 hours of sleep.

I'm off my pity party...carry on..thank you for listening..your prize is in the mail.

Flug..got your envy! Thank you hon.

GT: If your travel times are flexible, I firmly believe that the name your own price on priceline is the cheapest. I have been using kayak.com as well.

GS is going well. Only 2 people have asked about extreme couponing.

I am not sure if going into details about family barcodes etc is a good idea on blogs...It is bound to give ideas to noobs out there...I am no fan of J'aime, something about her irritates me but I also think people have to stop talking about matching barcodes and all...

Also what is funny is how other bloggers are coming on her page and saying come to us, we teach you to coupon correctly...

DH asked me last night, if I was given a chance to be on TLC would I do a T run...EEK! Nono

I know right!?!?!

I don't need (nor does anyone on God's green earth) 500 bottles of mustard! I buy stuff on sale matched to coupons and get this...it's actually stuff my family uses! I'd rather buy 4-6 at a time and spread my stockpiling out over 2-3 trips in a shopping week. Scratchhead Insanity I know! Rofl2

Ank, how's MayMay? I had a post sittting on my phone on Tuesday but it was time to push so I never got to submit it! Roll I was just gonna say I have a litany of Doh mom moments so please keep in mind that it was just an accident!

M2C, let it out. Moving is up there on the high stress things in life. Not to mention y'all are on the fast track for the move and have 2 little ones to tend to all day long.

It is nearly 8 and both boys are still snoozing. Jawdrop
Hope you are/did enjoy the quiet morning. Smilie

MayMay is doing pretty good. Cranky and sleepy, but I expect that. Lots of snuggles and I'm really trying not to stress about not having EVERYTHING done in the house that I want. It just isn't going to happen. I figure next week should get better - just these first few days will be rough.

My toddler is driving me nuts. I *know* it is because she wants more attention, so I am trying to give her some positive attention instead of the extremely tempting negative attention that is so much easier to give ( Bonk )

Once upon a time, in the very early days of my couponing, I bought 240 bottles of mustard. They were pennies after coupon & tax, overage with catalinas. It was my first ever real rolling catalina deal at the grocery store. I was excited. And stupid. *laugh* we gave mustard to every single person we ever encountered and I still have 4 bottles of that stuff. Roll It does have a longer shelf life than you'd expect, but still... it was obscene.

My grocery store has a limit on how many coupons it can take before you need a manager's override. While I know I'm not doing anything wrong, I try very hard to not hit that limit. It's annoying to have to wait for someone to come turn a key, it gets folks a bit annoyed at me in line, and it makes people nosey. I also have a hard time keeping track of larger transactions. I like to make sure that I'm getting all the $$ credited that I should! It's too easy to make mistakes with huge orders like that. Oh - I'm also usually trying for catalina deals and those typically work better if you do smaller rolling orders than huge orders. Yeah, the big savings is fun and exciting, but I save no matter what.

Of course, there are times that I don't have much choice but to do larger transactions. Some weeks just don't allow me to make multiple trips/transactions - especially with tiny ones or sick ones. But, I'm learning how to figure that out and *trying* to plan to do only what I can in a week and not sweat it!

DH is so excited about house hunting. He and I will go see a realtor tonight to go look at a few places. Personally, I'm terrified and would rather wait until the dust settles on these medical bills. I think once he sees some numbers though, it'll cool his jets for a bit. We are going to try doing the flea market next weekend to sell a bunch of stuff we don't need and excess stockpile. I'm surprised how little stockpile we actually have. We've used or given away quite a bit already, so it's weird. But, anything is better than the nothing that we have right now! I need to figure out what kind of things to stockpile now and make a decent amount back on!

You were getting overage with catalina deal and I am sure you didn't buy 240 bottles in 1 tranny or 18 back to back transactions...

I am sure noone here wants to comment on the number of glade candles we have but I am also sure noone wiped the shelves in 1 tranny

if you don't mind typed envelopes, you can do a mail merge on microsoft word - just copy and paste in a list of names and addresses. pick a font - decorative, script-like, business-like, whatever you want and batch print on the printer. you can have hundreds done in a small amount of time.

congrats again!
Thanks I thought about doing that, but just haven't gotten around to it yet. I did 22 envelopes yesterday before I got distracted by GS stuff, but I have another 50 or so to do (these are for thank you cards and annoucements, so there will be a lot going out). I may take that route for the rest! laugh out loud

I heart how cuddilly baby girls are. Emmilyne is laying in my arms, gazing into my eyes and has now just passed out. My boys never did this at toddler age. Sugar & spice and everything nice. Girly

Hats, scarves, pillows, etc... hot water wash.

Boil all brushes/combs, etc... (not sure if running them through the dishwasher would work - I guess it depends how hot the water gets)

May want to put anything not washable (i.e. stuffed animals, etc) into big plastic bags and suffocate. I forget how long it has to be done, but I think it's googleable. You may even want to steam clean the carpets. hug

*laugh* No... I think the most I did at a time was 4 in a transaction and *maybe* 2 back to back - along with a ton of other stuff. It took me about 3 weeks to get it all! It was crazy.

Naa, you shouldn't shut up. Come here and bitch, whine, and complain. It helps and that's what we are here for. We will also pat you on the back when finish packing the good dishes and throwing away some useless crap.

Now, step back a minute and make a list. List even the stupid little quick things. It will help relieve some of the "what if I forget" stress. As you think of things, add to the list, as you do them, cross them off. It helps, really it does. Pick a "packed" area to stack boxes and a dumping ground for "get rid of" and watch your organized piles grow.

The same woman who has an alphabetical list of everything the store carries complete with aisle number. I'd like you all to go ask your stores for that and report back on how that worked out.

Thanks. She has found $240 total price (per person) round trip and so far we aren't beating it.

Did you tell them hell no, those people are completely crazy and we are just a little nuts?

Neck hurts today, sore muscle from doing nothing, I guess. As long as I don't move my head, it's fine. laugh out loud Don't know what I am going to do today. I need to work on the yard some more if it warms up enough and if the dang wind is tolerable.

I talked to the newspaper guy yesterday and we have made arrangements for me to get the old outdated papers for animal bedding each Monday. Wink

I guess I'd better go check out that blog that has been updated. Dang, we're nosy.

I was surprised her store managers are so willing to give out all that information...And calling your store before going to find if there is a change in cpn policy..Can you imagine calling T every week and asking about changes in their policy Rofl2..They don't even know their original policy, forget the changes Roll

Thanks ank.....I am SOOOOOOO glad my dd barely has much hair now! I did put the most loved stuffed animals in the pile to be washed but I think I will put the rest in a bag and suffocate them....sorry Bunnies but I think there are some rabbits in that mix laugh out loud Luckily most of our house is not carpeted but we do have a steamer thing so maybe I will have dh run that in the two rooms that do. Aye, and I thought this was gonna be a relaxing day Frown Oh well, at least my house was due to be cleaned this weekend anyway so I'll just have it done earlier. And I would much rather be trying to get rid of lice then those dreaded bedbugs the news keeps talking about OMG Trying to see the bright side I suppose.
