I had just fallen asleep last night when (trying not to be too gross) I was awaken by ummm, barf going up my nose. Ran to bathroom and when I settled down, sat on the couch for a while and had some Maalox and milk (no, not as a cocktail, separately) and went back to bed. Rest of night was fine and woke up fine this morning. But as the day goes on I just keep getting queasy and icky. No more nasal surprises though. (Oh, that was nasty and then I couldn't get the smell and taste gone. Ok, yeah, that was TMI)
So, I don't know we are having. What would you like me to fix?

Maybe milk macaroni. That's kind of a feel better food. And, no, I don't think anyone outside my family has heard of it. Elbow macaroni in milk with butter and salt. Yes, I know it sounds gross to most people. I love it. So did my dad, so does my daughter. My mother, however, thinks we're all bonkers.
Now a question...What is better?? Kindle or IPAD.
IPAD is better at EVERYTHING else, but cost way more. I don't read books, so an IPAD would work better for me. But there is a kindle app, so I can download books if I wanted too. Right now I have an urlhasbeenblocked and I love it! Although my girls spend using it more then I do.

if your vacuum cost $50 i would get a new vacuum.
if your vacuum cost $200 and you only bought it couple yrs ago, i would probably go w/ buying the part. but again, depends on the part.
i'll spend up to 50% of the initial cost to fix b4 buying new on stuff like shoes and vacuums.

Ohhh gt...I love milk macaroni, my mom used to make it for us all the time. Of course she put waaay too much butter and salt in it. lol But that is what made it so yummy. I still fix it every once in awhile but my family thinks it is just weird and won't eat it.
What does it mean when a cranky GSTL (I think that is what she was..front register manager, then went to dept. head manager or something like that) gets put in Cafe to work? I had put anonymous suggestion cards in about her being a biznatch a long time ago...then after a while she went to working the cafe and is still there. I am just hoping that they plan on keeping her there and that this is not just a step 'up' towards a management position. She has been there for a long time and moved around quite a bit but has been stuck in cafe for months.

Last night I was on the phone with my brother talking about some very important family business when I caught a whiff of poop. Since I can't change him while talking (he screams) I tell him to go get a diaper and go back to my conversation. Fifteen minutes later, he comes to me from under the dining room table in a surrender pose saying "sorry" "sorry" "sorry" rain-man style. When he got into the light, I saw why. His hands and feet were covered in poop. Further investigation revealed poop artwork under the table, on some chair legs and on the breakfast bar.
