J is working again this weekend. He's only taken 1 weekend off since Jan 1. His job is so crazy busy that he plays catch up on weekends then can't say no to people that want him to do side jobs. I'm pretty much exhausted and need reinforcements!

Kids are super excited with all the conference crap and a girl was almost throwing herself at DH..She asked DH if he was staying alone and would he like company...And no this wasn't a hooker on a street but a female who was attending the conference
DH is so sweet, he cleaned the entire house today, took us out for lunch, and has not let me do anythng since morning...

Poor DS is still feverish and seems very sensitive to noise. Every time little man "yells" or grunts, DS is instantly tattling on him and then breaking down crying. I feel so sorry for him but man, he is testing my patience. The little man isn't helping matters by taunting big brother. I cannot wait until bedtime.

Had a bad day today. Was driving to Green Bay in the fast lane and the car in front of me decided to stop because they were lost! So couldn't stop in time and hit them and spun their car around. Luckily no one was hurt except my poor car. It doesn't look so bad but the hood is made of fiber glass and it no longer locks to the car so it has to be two bungee cords holding it shut. I had to drive it 30 miles home on the highway. All I could do is watch it bounce up and down, praying it would not fly off!
I was heading to see my ex's sister's brand new baby. Of course the accident made me late and I only got to see them for an hour before they had to leave. I blame my ex. If he hadn't wanted to come along, I would have been there an hour earlier and this would have never happened. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!
And now my back is killing me, I will have to take a look in the medicin cabinet for something. I think I might make myself a brandy and Coke.
My niece lives in Raleigh. I was searching news stories about today's tornado and ran acrossthis [dailymail.co.uk]. "The mother of a seven-year-old girl whose candy-style hair was mocked on Facebook is suing the teacher who allegedly posted the photo."
There's not much more to it than that. Teacher took a picture of the little girl (7) and posted it on her Facebook page and made comments making fun of her hairstyle. (It had Jolly Rancher candies tied in).
The mom is suing claiming emotional distress and people are commenting how stupid, she fixed her hair, etc.
I don't get it. I would be absolutely outraged that she took a picture of my kid and put it on the internet. I would be doing something but it sure as hell wouldn't be suing for emotional distress. I'd start by going after her teaching license.
