Good evening! Big Grin

We're back from Busch Gardens and safe from the tornados. It was crazy weather! I'm hoping our next trip has a little less drama. We were getting a barrage of phone calls in our room with updates on the tornados. It's a scary thing and I'm sad so many people were impacted by the weather. One of my friend's in laws lost their house. Frown

Setsail- I though of you when we shopped at the Hanna Andersson outlet. They had the final markdowns on last seasons clearance. I got some great summer T-shirts for $3. Cool

I see the new P&G 5/1 preview is up. It looks rather bleh and not many promising coupons. I'm wondering if there will be 1 barcode or 2.

I almost sent you a text when I saw the tornado alert on my phone! EEK! I'm glad you had a good time. I saw that the park was closed due to weather yesterday. First time I can ever remember seeing that.

I'm so sorry for your friend's inlaws!

We're taking the kids next weekend and hopefully no tornadoes. shake head And lol about Hanna. Last time we were there I wanted to go but dh and the kids voted no. I did go to LL Bean though!

hug Thanks for thinking of us! I can't think of a time that Busch Gardens closed either. I can't imagine anyone wanting to be there anyway, it was torrential downpours with crazy lighting and strong winds. EEK!

I hope next weekend has some sunny skies for you guys!

Did you see they opened a Janie and Jack outlet? drool They have adorable clothes for my 5, almost 6 year old. Their clearance was really good.

I don't look forward to the day when my 3 boys and DH get to outvote me on shopping. We'd never go shopping again! LMAO Even trips to T involve bribing. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Hi meanies! My laptop hard drive died yesterday so DH had to go and get me a new one today and load everything up from the back up. What a pain in the arse. But at least I'm back in business.

Gator - I've been thinking about taking the kids to g-ville to that butterfly thing on campus. Have you ever been there? I would of course squeeze in a run or two. Wink

MOT2 - Are you farking kidding me about your jedi telling you that? Grrr.... Did you happen to get your boyfriend's schedule? I'd love to get over there and give him a test drive. Wink

My dog frigging stinks! He has BO, I swear. I guess he does chase cars all day long then lay in the sun panting. I would wash him but he is as big as me and weights just the same. I took him to Petsmart once, holy hell I dont want to have to do that again - he was an absolute spaz! but really need to get his nails trimmed. I have a fear of doing it now. I used to trim my Shih Tzus but I made him bleed once and didnt ever do it again.

I have heard those As Seen On TV things don't really work, anyone have a good tool to recommend for my DH?
I won't trim my puppies nails either. They have to go to groomer for haircut and she does nails too.

If he has white toenails you can see the vein and know where to cut with dog nail clippers. Just trim a little at a time. Easier to use than ones for humans.

The vet could trim them for you and maybe be reasonable.

What a crazy day.. on call for work today Frown

Went to church, got called to work.. ended up being there for 4 hours..
left and decided to go by CVS and make good use of some 4/20 coupons and those 5.00 PF coupons.. Ended up doing 3 transactions at 2 different stores...
Made it home around 5:45 and got called back to work at 7:15 EEK! finished up and made it back home at 9:15.. Glad to be home now and hoping I get no more phone calls tonight Smilie

How sad is it that even though it has been crazy busy, all I can think about is what sales I have missed laugh out loud

Still wanting to maybe get back into Wags this week.. if I can throw together some kind of deals..

Well, I am off to do nothing except watch tv.. Have a good night everyone Wave

How are all of the sick kiddos today???

Just to be fair, let me say I haven't tried Pedipaws but I have looked at them and I cannot imagine how they would work worth a darn. The revolution per minute was a joke and they are cheap a flimsy. The reviews are also horrible. Don't go there.

That said, I do use a rotary tool on my dogs. Mine is a Black and Decker variable speed (about $25 at Wal-Mart).

I grind and I much prefer it to clipping. It is possible to get too short and make them bleed but I have only done that once (yesterday, as a matter of fact) and since it grinds rather than cuts off a big chunk, when they yip you really haven't hurt them much and it doesn't bleed and bleed and bleed like clipping.

I was very surprised that the dogs were so cooperative. The chihuahua is... well a chihuahua, it's not like she can do much, but she could squirm and fight. She doesn't. She just sits on my lap and tolerates it. Heidi requires a different approach. As long as my DD feeds her treats, she is good as gold. LMAO She just lays there and has snacks while I do it.

It isn't difficult but does feel a little weird at first. It leaves the nails much smoother than clipping and I think it's easier. I think it's easier to get them shorter too. Most people actually leave their dogs nails too long.

Do a search of two, there are some good instructions online. Here is one very quick You Tube video [youtube.com]. It is not me and it is a pure coincidence that it's a German Sheperd. I watched it because it was only a minute long. It does take longer than the video shows. I think it took me about 10 or 15 minutes to do Heidi's yesterday and about 5 or 10 to do Coco's. I don't hurry and I gave Heidi a couple minute break between front and back.

Now, are you sorry you asked?LMAOLMAO

Yeah you saw my little monkey toddler in action. Embarrassment *sigh* I completely empathize.

And no I didn't know about the J&J outlet! I love me some Gymbo and I'm kind of sad that monkey is the only one that can wear their sizing after buying since 1996. laugh out loud I received my gymbucks redemption order on Friday and it just wasn't as thrilling as it used to be.

My sister uses something similar and she said it was so much better than clipping the doggy nails.

Bought a pizza oven at auction. Did a google search to find out about it. I think I may have gotten a... a... whatever, virus, trojan, worm. I go that "gonna scan your computer" thing. Had to bring up task manager and shut Firefox. I have a Microsoft SEcurity Essential scan running now. It was on and active.

My Windows Defender isn't working and I think this might have cause it. I think it was working before but I can't swear to that. It says I should restart me computer to restart it. I'm skeeered.

What else do I do right now?

Damn it, I was headed to bed and we were talking as we were moving around shutting off tv, etc. and I decided to quick look up the pizza oven.

ETA: Went to tech support, searched, read. Sounds like scare thing. Possibly a scareware although it has not popped up again or done anything else. Computer is actually working fine and normal. I am running a full scan and Malwarebytes right now anyway. Guess I might as well get a beverage and get comfy.

I was going to use my Q's at Target but found the better deal was at BB. I did this last night at BB and had no problem using the Q's and getting the store $10 off! The BB register wouldn't let me use a 10% off movies that I got in my email. She tried to get it to work but she said it wouldn't because of the Q's.
Yes, this was a better deal than Target , especially since alot of people don't have those elusive T Q's . Glad you didn't have a problem at BB , it's a great deal . Now just neeed to find some concession q's for snacks laugh out loud
