Well, what to say.. too much on my plate..
DH had a tick bite and didn't notice for a while and has syptoms of lyme disease and too much going on with it..
DH met with an accident.. Thanking God that things are not serious.. but it could be otherwise worse if he drove seconds before or after..
He was making right turn, looked at left,turned right didn't notice truck making revere in the right lane. Truck was fast so was DH, since he was merging right uphill. His car did end up going under the truck (atleast front portion). Truck driver did use the break, but still car got pulled inside with DH inside the car while using the break all the way.
Actually cop called me to the spot coz DH was being attended in the ambulance. When i went to the spot, all I see was his car, which was totaled underneath the truck with 3 cop cars, an ambulance and DH was nowhere in the sight. I really thought I lost him..
DH has some minor injury, not serious. Thank god, thanking god for every moment...
My teeth have been very bad. They want to do a root canal/crown on 2-3 of them. I may just have them pulled. I can't hardly stand the pain.

I think you will get a TON of hagglers if you do - but that may not be a big deal for you - especially if everything really must go... : )
Well, thought my toddler was feeling better, but she's not. DH went to church tonight with my oldest and left me home with the 2 little ones. Mavis is screaming her head off in bed. She's tired, but apparently doesn't want to sleep. My head is killing me and I need to get my toddler to bed here in a couple minutes. I am hoping DH stays out for a little bit so that I can just rest with no distractions.

me: this past weekend marked 4 months since my accident. i remain in excruciating pain. i am yet to drive a car. my right arm is numb and tingly, my shoulder and chest have been hurting so badly today i have been wanting to punch a hole in the wall all day long. i still cannot walk. nor can i stand for more than a few seconds. i cannot bend or straighten my knee. i cannot put on a pair of shorts without wincing/grimacing when the shorts touch my still-distended abdomen. i am better than i was, in part because i have learned to accept constant round-the-clock pain.
i say all this to you not to divert attention to me, but because i don't want your DH to suffer in the same way. so be proactive about getting specialists on his care team and making sure he gets a nuanced once-over from different respective specialties.

Question for nursing/previous nursing moms: any suggestions on nursing tops? They are sooo expensive. The only one I have is a tank, but I was thinking of investing in some actual nursing tops - old navy [gap.com] looks like the only place in my price range, $14.

I am soooo proud of my daughter. She is 7 and shy but reeeeaaalllyyy wanted to try out for her school's talent show. She was really nervous but she sang a song, kinda softly but on key, in front of about 40 people and the judges. She will find out on Tuesday if she made the cut but I am really proud of her for trying. I told her that there is NO WAY I would sing in front of people.

It's been buried under a couple bags of clothes for at least 2 1/2 year.
Not a good day. Doctor said to come back in six months for another mammogram/ultrasound. This means I have to shop more to sell more. Not happy to know that my insurance I have to COBRA is $530 a month and I am skeeeered to go on public health care because if something is actually worng I want the good insurance. Not only did I not pass the mammogram this year I am suppose to go back g in four more months for another pap because that didn't come up good either.

my cousin did everything half price after a certain time and that pretty much moved everything at the end.

i'm sorry you are still in such pain. come and talk to us more often so we can distract you. bunnies has been too busy to really entertain us but gt has been subbing and making us drool.

Insurance company has totaled my car. I could either sell it to them for $6100 or keep the car and they will cut me a check for $4800 and then I can fix it myself. Now I'm sure I could fix it for less then what the dealership wanted, but I was going to get a new car in fall anyway so I will sell the car back to them.
NEW CAR SHOPPING! I am a little stressed out on what to get. I wanted a Toyota Rav4 4x4 with a third row seat, but I guess they don't make them with a third row seat in my region? Closest one I found online was the next state over in Minnesota. Then I thought maybe a Honda Pilot, or maybe a Dodge Journey. I really want something that has 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive with a third row seat and gets good gas mileage. No minivans. Plus it needs to look cool. And then there is the whole cost factor. Single mom, 2 kids, no money. I'm pretty sure what I want doesn't exist!
I think I will test drive the Dodge. They at least have a promotion to get some free DVD for test driving.
Teen Did you try out a used Expedition? Gas mileage isn't the greatest but it was so far my favorite vehicle to drive with 3rd row seating.

As far as my itching goes, I'm on my second round of oral steroids. LFTs are back to normal so the rash is non cholestasis related but definitely pregnancy related. I wake up every morning with blood spots on my shirt and bra from scratching so intensely at night. Problem is, even with all the scratching, I have felt no relief from this itch. This condition could be used to get information out of the enemy. I know if someone held a cure over my head I'd sing like a stinkin' canary! I'm just ready to get back to normal!!!! Awww I know what you mean... I ALMOST completed two baskets but have five more real baskets to do then one smaller "baby" basket... you know!?! It is crazy!! But, they have butter for $1.99 lb. and it's been $3.59ish. Hmmmm, they have some Charmin for $4.99... 2 times and unknown number of CWS coupons. That's a lot of butt wipe
I might also have to break down and buy some bottled water (24 @ $2.50). The last couple years I've been able to find a deal making it free with pop or at least next to nothing. We don't use a lot of it but I like a bottle in the van all the time and I want some for our fishing trip -- which is only a month away!!

And graced, I never got the nursing tops - I always felt they looked too obvious, and the one or two that I got as hand-me-downs were too bulky. I usually just wore a cami underneath any shirt I was wearing, and then carried an extra-big burp cloth (custom-made, talking about 4ft square) for more modesty/coverage while nursing. Cuz nobody needs to see my flabs.
