Does anyone else hate Oprah and all her money and High horse-ed-ness? I swear that woman plans her shows around my PMS just to curl my nails. The show yesterday about 'what is wrong with the world & what can I do to fix it?' Me. bitch, you have all the money! Why don't YOU give just a hundred dollars of your fortune to each person that has watched your shows, if all we really want out of life is COOPERATION, not compition and if we are all connected. BLAH.

Does anyone think putting "everything must go" in my GS CL ad is a bad idea? Because truthfully, EVERYTHING. MUST. GO. Seriously. The VA is coming to pick up anything that is left for donation on Monday morning.
I would not recommend doing this, It will hurt you - not in the pocket but in the aggrivation. I would just say something like Early Birds get 40%off and stagger the discount down per hour. And if you did the fill a bag for $5, Even I would be all over that.

There have been so many misstatements and lies. He has blamed some of them on a temp he had working in his office. I hope my impeccable recount of all the details since we signed our contract January 3 will clear up any confusion for him.

Wave When I was nursing Sophia, I had 2 of these tee shirt extenders [target.com]. One black and one white. I wore them under my shirt and they fit just perfect. On me, it went from right under my bra and ended at my jeans. It was nice bc I could wear my regular clothes and still be completely covered when nursing it public. I liked them bc I would only wear them when I was out and about, so I only needed the 2 and didn't need to buy a whole new set of shirts.
I love that idea! I may just try one of those first. Thanks!

M2C: I meant to post this before. Yes, we have gone to the Butterfly Rainforest at UF. It's really pretty. However, there are A LOT of rules that you have to follow including not touching anything, so it was hard for my little guy to keep his hands off the flowers etc. But the butterflies are gorgeous and the Natural History museum is also fun. You should get free/cheap admission w/ your membership...we did anyways. Smilie
Thanks for the info. I've heard it's pretty cool. We'll have to check it out.

Good luck with the MI mess. I can't even imagine having to deal with that. We just got back from Cole's Easter party and program at school. I didn't know there would be people here working on a few things from our inspection and WDO report. We have some wood rot under the house they are fixing.... and they are LOUD... and the kids are trying to nap/rest. Ugh.

Flylady lost me with the dozens of emails that binged my inbox all day. how the fark am I supposed to clean my "hot zones of clutter" around the house while I'm constantly clearing my inbox?!?! and sticky notes all over? I think not Doh

Your supper menu makes us drool always. What are you making tonight?
Well, thank you. That's nice to hear. I must not report the nights we have "clean out the refrigerator" or pot pies. laugh out loud

I don't know what we are having tonight for sure. I think, maybe Reubens. DD asked for them, she will be here tonight, and I got the stuff at the store. If they sound good to everybody and if I can stand out there and do it, then we will have that. Otherwise, beats the hell outta me.

Went to the grocery store to stock up on butter. I didn't notice that the it was limit 1 -- I had planned to get ~ 10 lbs. Completely my fault, it said so right in the ad, I just didn't notice it. (Their 1 or 2 day sale stuff isn't usually limited or if it is, it will still ring up the sale price and they will generally allow more.)

Oh, and I paid full price for aspirin while I was there. We have everything but regular strength aspirin -- we have baby aspirin but I'm getting tired of taking 12 every time I need some. Turns out, this was a pretty good thing to do.

Stopped at the lake on the way home. Remember the ball we lost a couple weeks ago? Found it. Got it out from under the rock, Heidi took it from me and promptly threw it in the lake again. Confused I don't get it. The ball is in the house WHERE IT SHALL REMAIN.

She headed across the bridge I decided to go across too, walk around a little, and let her run a little further. Got to the end of bridge, slipped, twisted my ankle and fell. There for a minute I wasn't sure I was getting back up. I'm so graceful.LMAO

Got home, put crap away, took off my muddy jeans, put on flannels and t-shirt and took 3 of those full price aspirin. I must have put my hand down. My elbow hurts, my ankle hurts, and my whole damn leg hurts. I have a hunch by this evening, I'm gonna be aching all over. Maybe I'll get in the tub in a little bit. We have an over sized jet tub so you can really get down in there and soak.

While typing this I had to jump up and run, uumm trot, oh fine, walk real fast -- my washer was off balance and was going nuts. 1 king flat sheet, 1 towel 1 bra. It's my small stackable so I always break king sets into two loads. The sheet and towel were twisted round and round each other and looped in through the bra strap several times. I had to pull this king size sheet through the strap/arm hole part of the bra 4 or 5 times to get it undone. Now, how in the hell does that happen?

This whole dang day is nutty. I'm having some store bought macaroni salad and a diet root beer for lunch. I'm afraid to use the stove or microwave. laugh out loud

Yeah. I cook the sauerkraut a little bit so it's not so wet and to brown it up just a bit. I usually do that in a skillet just to save griddle space.

I throw the corned beef on the griddle and cook it just enough to get it hot. I kind of do that on one side of the griddle while I slightly "toast" (but not much) what will be the inside of the bread (pumpernickel).

Spread the bread with Thousand Island, throw on the meat, kraut, swiss cheese. Then grill the sandwiches til the outside of the bread is slightly toasted and the cheese is melted.

Might just have DD make them.

Can anyone explain this to me?

I just sent an email out to a group of people. I got a Hotmail delivery failure notification. The email that is shows is not an address on my list of people. I doubled checked my sent email and that address is not listed.

Now, the failed email is actually an email address that someone on this list might pick -- it would be like of one of us picking "[email protected]".

Wave Made it half-way across the state safely to my brother's. Only forgot a few things at home and have already been to one Target store Teehee Nothing much good here except that I found a ton of C9 hangtags. FINALLY because I've only found 1-2 at home! Highlight of my day right there. Got a bunch of good deals at the Old Navy outlet store this AM too. Whole store was 40% off including clearance!

Probably won't be online much from here on out through the weekend, hope everyone has a good Easter!

I've been trying to follow Flylady too! Although if you saw the disaster my house is right now - you wouldn't think I ever heard of her.

Insurance company has totaled my car. I could either sell it to them for $6100 or keep the car and they will cut me a check for $4800 and then I can fix it myself. Now I'm sure I could fix it for less then what the dealership wanted, but I was going to get a new car in fall anyway so I will sell the car back to them.

NEW CAR SHOPPING! I am a little stressed out on what to get. I wanted a Toyota Rav4 4x4 with a third row seat, but I guess they don't make them with a third row seat in my region? Closest one I found online was the next state over in Minnesota. Then I thought maybe a Honda Pilot, or maybe a Dodge Journey. I really want something that has 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive with a third row seat and gets good gas mileage. No minivans. Plus it needs to look cool. And then there is the whole cost factor. Single mom, 2 kids, no money. I'm pretty sure what I want doesn't exist!

I think I will test drive the Dodge. They at least have a promotion to get some free DVD for test driving.
Why is a minivan so uncool? Personally I would be looking at what gets me the best fuel economy with prices edging or above $4 per gallon and no break in sight.
Minivans and SUV/ sport cutes are all the same, all just a station wagon in disguise. laugh out loud
