I am very excited about the sandals. I have been looking for a specific kind -- brown leather, thong style, but not just a flip flop, a little neater, dressier but far from dressy (probably out of style). I had a pair several years ago that I loved. I wore them til they fell apart. Since I couldn't find those, I thought maybe I could find something similar in the Earth Shoes.
Well, I'll be darned. I found that exact pair in a consignment store and they don't look like they have been worn... and they were my size. Oh it gets better. There was a pair of Earth Shoes cute leather flip flop sandals with beads right next to them. My size. Buy one get one free today. $3 for both pair.
Of course, I have no clothes, so I will be naked while wearing them.
I hope DH doesn't go in the little garage and look in the van. It's are nefarious as it sounds. I have some new bushes and plants in there. My intention was to come home and get them in and sort of surprise him. I think I mentioned my two little corners gardens that I just don't like. Well, I have been complaining to him and trying to get him to have a little input -- come up with an idea or two. HA! Anyway, I got stuff to totally redo them today.
I probably don't have time before he gets home anyway, but even if I did, I can't. I came home and I am hurting like crazy all over. I can barely lift my leg and my one arms are bugging me. No strength at all. I think it's from all the clothes changing.
Got the bolts to mount the fish finder transducer on the bracket. Forgot to go to the library since I deviated from my regular route and time so I stopped at the one in my little town and found one book.
time to stock up on the gift cards????
Thrifteh, your dedication to your sweet little babeh's is astounding. I am in awe, and certainly do not have the will power! I found the Torani syrups at Sam's. Very cheap, and had many of the sugar free varieties.

and yes, crt will beep as soon as they expire.. so will extra bucks. some people report their stores will take them anyway, so it never hurts to ask.

it's a tradition - we all nitpick bunnies' morning greetings, because invariably someone or the other's names are missing and then she comes up with fanciful reasons why and we hug her virtually anyways, cos we like to think as a bunny she's cuddly.

had the strangest day of reliving the past while trying to move into the future. been on phone all day today from 7:15 am - police, doctors, adjustors for medical costs, his insurance for dollars, going over the same thing over and over again. then someone asked me the date and strangely i realized today is exactly 5 months to the day since my accident. how wierd is that? the day that things seem to begin to be moving forward again.
it is POURING sheets here by the way. maybe i need some decaf with kahlua.... yo kay, are you listening, babe?
