Hope everyone has a nice day. I think the Suave is free this week. I saw double packs
that's what they all say.
We don't hurry and if we spot something interesting or something we want to do, we stop. This ranges from stomping through forest trails to interesting looking yard sale. And we both suffer from raccoon syndrome --- we get distracted by shiny objects. So, sometimes there are lots of little side adventures.
And, we have to stop somewhere for licenses and bait, probably Wal-Mart so we can grab any last minute items, and you know how that is, you always lose an hour in there. I am soooooo ready to
a vacation to the mountains after all of that
Or try this "test" -- If you were somewhere and your husband had to pack your clothes and he grabbed "this" would it be ok? Would your wear it? No? Then get rid of it. Yes, I know, he will probably go straight to the lingerie drawer, just pretend he went to the regular clothes. I have a couple exceptions, of course, like something dressy that I rarely wear but need on hand.
I bought bushes to do my little corner gardens, now I'm having second thoughts. There's also another bush that would be absolutely perfect in the corner of the corner garden but those suckers are 30 bucks a piece and I need two. I am just too cheap. Anyway, the bushes I bought either need planted or returned. I wanted to get it done and sort of surprise DH (since I've been bitc... complaining about it) but now I'm thinking I might set the stuff in place and see what he thinks. Then, I can still return them if we decide to do something else. I hate it when I am indecisive.
The pool needs vacuumed and I should probably mow tomorrow or Friday, otherwise it will be too long by the time we get home.
Oh, yeah, and tonight I have to start following DH around saying, "have you packed yet? Do you intend to pack anytime soon? You need to pack so I have your duffle bag when I load the car. HAVE YOU PACKED YET???" Which reminds me, I've GOT to clean the van. It's dirty and full of dog hair.
I think I am going to make/freeze a lasagne to take a long. I got the stuff to make peanut butter bars, then grabbed brownie mix -- DH LOVES brownies and then somehow a Krusteez Lemon Bar mix fell in the cart too. We don't need all that junk!
The peanut butter bars are soooo easy and good. Buy a bag of PB cookie mix and follow the directions to make the dough. Pat it in a 9 x 13 cake pan and bake. Then melt a bag of milk chocolate chips and spread on top. Let it cool. The chips firm up. You can cut it into pieces and pick them up to eat. Easy one that your little ones can do.
Babble, babble, babble. Ok, I will shut up. For now.
Off to clean. I must complete one room before I return.
They induced because they thought he was to be over 9 lbs. First child for my oldest Nephew and his wife.
No details (weight, length). 10 fingers, 10 toes, 2 eyes, 1 nose though.

GT (and heidi), I don't mind your heidi avatar. However, if I ever saw her in real life, like up close within 10 feet of my being, I'd probably start crying.
What avi are you talking about, because as you know, I am most nosey.
Dreeme...good morning! A little birdie tells me that you are celebrating a Birthday soon. I am not sure when it is, and I don't want to miss it, so I want to say....
Happy Birthday to you!!

OK, so no one wants to know of the great peelies I found? Check the prenatal vitamins, tiny little peelie for a FREE Avent 4 oz bottle. It has the scary new barcode on the back. She scanned it, it said verify item, which popped up on the screen, she pressed OK and all was good with the world. At least until I realized I forgot my gum coupon.
....
need to do some hefty purging. which will involve trying everything out.
the have you packed yet routine -- painfully familiar from childhood (mum asking Dad, known as the King of packing until the last second) and adulthood. you are a gem for having that patience.
bushes - if he's anything like the typical man, he's really not going to care about this plant and that plant and those one's are just a bit rounder than the one here etc. typical man will look at the whole corner, and say looks great honey because a) he's already thinking of something else and b) he's not going to risk your wrath. so plant the bushes YOU like.
....
ever.
Loose dust going places exacerbates my allergies big time. so i use wipes (7th gen) or in some cases (tv screen) a damp cloth to gently wipe off any dust. i toss the dirty wipes into a little plastic shopping bag as I go along. then the floor gets swept. then carpet vacuuming. then mopping. once i mop i know i'm done, it's like tying a ribbon on it.
I usually do bathroom cleaning taks last (unless i'm doing them on a different day), cos i like to shower after that unpleasantness.
Oh and one more thing: every room gets its own mop pad. Learned that from Dr. Oz show, don't use bathroom pad in kitchen or hallway pad in kitchen cos you're tracking nasty germs throughout the house that way. ugh.
Of course, all this is theory. I haven't done any significant or thorough housecleaning to speak of in 5 months. can't.
......
j/k, I only dust when I notice the dust and it is bugging me enough to dust it though

Please don't ask how often I wash the hardwood floors. I vacuum them but as far as an actual bucket of water and rag.... we aren't going to talk about that.
I am going to make this [allrecipes.com]for dinner since I found ground chicken marked down at Food Lion.
I love their happy hours, and Wednesday is a great deal for bang bang! I also like they do happy hour from 9pm - close.
For frying the shrimp, we use a flour, egg wash, and then flour dipping, fry until golden brown in veggie oil. Tempora breading would also be awesome (flour, egg wash, panko bread crumbs).
Once the shrimp is cooked, toss in sauce until thoroughly coated. Serve over lettuce and top with chopped green onions. Enjoy!!
Ingredients
- Dynasty Sweet Thai Sauce
- Dynasty Spicy Garlic Pepper Paste
- Mayo
- White Vinegar
(I found the ingrediants in the Asian section at Kroger, though they are probably cheaper at an Asian market)
Ratios
4 parts Mayo
2 parts Sweet Thai Pepper (manage to control color and consistency)
1 part Spicy Garlic Pepper Paste (increase to taste)
White Vinegar (to taste)
Instructions
Ratios are directional only (tweak them to taste) when mixed the sauce should have the appearance and consistency of 1000 island dressing. To increase heat add more Spicy Garlic Pepper Sauce to reduce heat add white vinegar.

Heading to Wyoming from Georgia
Haven't been to one target yet and I have passed quite a few.
Told DH earlier that I wondered how many TCC peeps I have passed or will pass. Think I may have been near Ank already
