I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

We got the 3 mahogany/maroon benches which each seat 3 people delivered to the Center and the guard and I were able to put them together after a lot of teeth gnashing.
But the TABLE -- the THIRD table I tried to order -- was another story. It came in two boxes: one was the base and arrived fine. The second box contained the two table tops -- one side of one top for checkers, the other side for backgammon; one top with a flat surface for bridge and the other side a poker table (which will NOT be used). That box was damaged in transit and had a big piece broken off one of the table tops, so we had to send it back ! ! ! Thus the panic. I swear, my hands were shaking as I called the company to find out if there were another set of table tops anywhere else in existence. The guy who responded must have thought I was crazy for being so upset, and promised that as soon as the shipping company notified them that it was being returned, they'd send out a replacement. I have to believe him, but until those tops show up, I'll continue to be worried. I WANT THAT TABLE ! ! Okay, so what I really want is not to have to spend another three days trying to find another one. I'm sooooooo done with searching for gaming tables.
