Like if you're waiting at the dr office or something. You can play on it. It's nice to be able to look up stuff when you're not at home and want to. Like maybe where to eat or research a purchase that you're thinking about.

No, it doesn't make me feel important, it keeps me organized.

Email, Contacts, Calendar, ToDos, GPS and thousands upon thousands of apps that can be used for anything for small gaming to pass the time, increase productivity, look up restaurants and even book reservations.. etc.

My question to the troll OP: Why wouldn't you use a smartphone?

Because I can do all that and more WITHOUT one. I think most smart phone users accept mediocrity. You cant get around you are living your life on a small screen, paying hundreds a year and having to carry around a huge ugly device. With questionable security.

How did you get by before one? the answer is you did.
