Otherwise why do you pay for data to look at a screen that small?

Note to mods: that is not a personal attack. I'm attacking people "like him".
You right I don't get it... I've read every post
Nothing anyone has mentioned has got me running out to a data plan contract!
It's all pretty much "some entertainment" on a 4" screen.
LOL... The apps are "cute"
Why buy a porsche when a kia performs the same function
Why do you need 3 bedrooms when you are living alone
Why do you need 4 pairs of shoes when you only have 2 feet...
We could keep going..
What do you do with the data plan that makes the $240/yr extra worth it?
Show me the value, I want to understand.
I sold my skycaddie/ipod and garmin because it replaced that.
I can now play golf and answer work emails on the fly, thats worth well over 240 to me.
I can also do most functions of a regular computer without lugging a laptop around. Thats worth well over 240 to me.

I'm not the one making this a "hot' topic.
.....and people wonder why we are in trouble.

Every consumer makes individual choices on what they perceive to be valued higher then the money they spend on it. Do you spend your nights questioning every consumers buying decisions? That must be stressful

No... I just laugh at what people spend money and time on. Big cell phones with expensive data plans are one. Wasting time on an HTPC collection is another. Lasik another.
I can see the value of a Porsche though... not that I'd waste money on one.

But to not be able to see the value consumers perceive from a data plan is also laughable, especially if you already spend $$ on a cell phone plan (I bet more then my data and cell plan too).
It would be very tiresome to go out and fight everyone who I think over spent on something they didnt need. They can simply answer, it was worth it to me.. and what else can you say to that? Obviously it was if they traded the cash for the item/service.
I bought a second xbox for my bedroom so I didnt have to lug the one in the living room around if I wanted to play in our bedroom. Some may think it was stupid, to me it was easily worth the 200 bucks...
