I've thought of that before too. It's got it's goods and bads.

Good because two people can share the workload. Chances are one of the two people would be at their computer when someone sends a PM with a question. Two people to handle any problems that come up, etc. Two people to double check everything.

Not good because it would be confusing. When someone has a question, which SS person do they write to? If they write to them both, one SS coordinator won't know if the other SS coordinator already replied, things like that. I mean I guess you could say "Ok the top half of the participant list write to SS coordinator 1 with a problem/question and the bottom half of the participant list write to SS coordinator 2 with any questions/problems.

I think this is a great idea! It might be harder with 2 people running the SS but it may also be a lot easier to have someone sharing the workload, guess you never know for sure until you try!

It shouldn't come down to a popularity contest. Autumn, Schooby, or someone, should just name a successor and if that successor needs help then they could ask someone that they know and trust.

I think Schooby doesn't want to get involved in the process since this isn't SD sanctioned. If she chose, people might think SD is trying to influence SS.

Me too. IIRC last year we had sign-ups in October. I think Autumn sent PMs the first week of November and you had until the first week of December to buy and mail your gift. We're not behind yet.
