So, I wore my LED Arc-reactor for 2009 and 2010,

Can't think of any other elegant prop/costume ideas for this year..

Dell has a surprisingly affordable 22" IPS multitouch montor (and others probably do too). You could turn it portrait orientation, hide a battery pack and a laptop/netbook somewhere, and go as an iPod touch. (Or as an android, if that's your preference.) Not the most comfortable of costumes, but it would invite audience participation (with appropriate software).

My friend made one that was really cool. he got a cardboard around him and made it look like a carpet. Got some pants set them on top and folded them so they were sitting crossed or whatever you call what used to be "indian style" wore black pants and was a carpet pilot.
