The pups are kinda ugly with the stitching and canvas looking a little shoddy i have to say.
porda - i just toss them when they dry up. as long as you don't share your mascara (which you really shouldn't do anyway, eww) i really don't think you need to follow the 3 month rule. it's true that bacteria CAN build up in liquids, but if you think about it, it's much less unsanitary than a jar cream which we never toss after X months. how much bacteria is on your lashes anyway? i would toss a mascara if you used it while you had any sort of infection on your eye tho (but why would you use mascara if you had an eye infection?
anyway, i take the 3 month rule to be just another gimmick to get us to buy more stuff. i've never gotten any sort of eye condition from old mascara anyway.
kurpee - get a kitchenaid! it's sooooo great even if you don't use it much! i love baking even more with it bc it saves you so much time and energy.
as for gap vs br, i think br has better quality.
i'm training for a 10k! so sore from running. it's been years since i've run regularly!

My question is, how do we even know if we've run out of mascara?
That's fantastic. I don't think that's the norm, but that would be wonderful if it were.
About the mascara, I toss it when it starts smelling funny if I haven't used it all up. Usually I can tell when it's about done because I can't get anymore product out. When it starts drying up and flaking, I toss it too

Today's my birthday and I'm about to argue with customer service.
mine was 300 on amazon, plus $50 rebate, so 250 AR. i think the artisan can be had for maybe 150-200 or so. you should probably do some comparisons to see what you'll use it for the most. i don't have any attachments yet so i haven't made use of it other than baking and making frosting for my cupcakes.
i went wedding dress shopping today! i found a few that i liked that may be contenders... we'll see!
