Fat girls on the Bus

Main question: 
How is it that they can commit to time consuming make-up regimen, and expensive outer acessories, but not to jogging 20mins a day, (which is arguable all one needs, as long as there's consistency)
On the bus today:
Saw around, counted, 22x "big" girls while riding the campus buses between classes.
I notice many of them have very complicated make up scenarios,, foundation, mascara, liner, shadow (feathered), toner, bronzer, nude lip, etc etc..
Also, many wear a decent amount of middle brand clothing, lots of BR mainly, they're relatively young after-all.
SO, all of this cost money and time, the make up well exceeds 20 mins in most of these cases,
And their cloths are obviously not cheap either...

Did i see beauty in any of them... one of them had a high level math book,, so i assume she's not wasting her college time,,, yes i saw beauty in that..
People watcher,,, everyone is a people watcher,, there are few second that goes by in social environments that each individual isn't judging each other in all manners and scope
and yeah. im saying they dont like the attention. they want company. interaction. just like everyone else. dont you know any fat people? I just can't see how someone as thin as you could be 3% .. Not calling you a liar, but maybe it's getting measured wrong?
I actually agree with your general point.. if a guy or a girl wants to improve his overall physical appearance .. it's pretty much weight loss, body sculpting or plastic surgery..
However, it's not as simple as just jogging 20 min/day. It's difficult to lose weight (especially as you get over college age).. It's a long term commitment, with slow progress.. So try to be sensitive about that.. Some of the girls on the bus were probably trying to lose weight.
Sigh, I guess when you are 35+, have a stressful job, wife, kids, etc and put on some wieght, you will realize that it's not as simple as jogging 20 min/day
WHY can't you look for Pretty AND SMART,,, are you so detached and defeated that you now assume the two can't co-exist?
