Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

Ok where the plug is on the inside is like a read box (not enclosed) and there are 2 fans above it.

Okay everyone with a Netbook just talked to a very nice man from Samsung. You have to fully let your netbook discharge each month and charge it again. Mine is down because it sat in my case and I never did anything for months with it. The battery has a memory and you have to teach it. Mine was taught to be dead I guess LOL. He did tell me how I may be able to get some more memory back into it so I am going to try that. First thing I had to do was take it out of the 80% mode some of us put it in. I did that now he want me to let it die completely and then let it charge for 10 to 12 hours and then do it again to see if we can reteach the battery. Very nice man and gave me a transaction code to call him back. Other wise battery is tits up LOL.

Oh and are warranties are up, was only for a year.

Thanks Jules for the info, good to know. I've been using only the netbook since I got it and have never let it completely die, so now I know to do that (aren't cell phones like that too?) How do you put it in 80% mode and why were people doing that, what does it mean?

The 80% mode was suppose to extend the battery. Which I suppose it does if you use it alot. I guess we were suppose to read the whole book LOL he said it says somewhere in the book about the running it down and rechargeing monthly. But who reads the whole book?

If not no biggy I asked him what a new battery would cost and he gave me a 800 number to call and find out. But weekdays so when I find out will let you know but this is from Samsung I'm sure we can get cheaper else were.
